The City of Denver is building a temporary jail for the democratic convention. http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?sto...1&catid=188 I guess this means that if you go you should leave you bongs, meth and assless chaps at home. Which, to my point of view, spoils the whole purpose of going to a political convention. Maybe I'll go to the GOP one instead. You know at least a few of the Republican Senators and delegates are leather daddies.

BEVERLY HILLS, California (AP) -- There was much dancing: Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are married, according to reports. Ellen DeGeneres announced on her talk show that she would marry her girlfriend Portia de Rossi. In the biggest celebrity union since California legalized same-sex marriage, DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, wed Saturday night in an intimate ceremony at their Beverly Hills home, People and US Magazine reported. A publicist for DeGeneres confirmed People's report and gave no further comment. After the California Supreme Court's ruling in May, the talk-show host announced that she and de Rossi would wed after four years together. The ceremony w…

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/poli...kgaynews.org.uk The intelligence service MI5 has teamed up with Britain’s leading gay lobby group to recruit more homosexuals and to encourage spies to be open about their sexuality. MI5, which targets home-grown terrorists and foreign spies, has hired Stonewall to advise on how it can attract a broader range of applicants. Until the early 1990s gays were barred from sensitive government jobs because of fears that they would be vulnerable to blackmail. The ban followed revelations about the notorious Cambridge spy ring, the 1950s group of Cambridge graduates who worked in the intelligence service. Two of the ringleaders, G…

I saw ex-NJ Governor Jim McGreevey speak earlier this week at an event sponsored (sort of) by the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) LBGT association. The professor who introduced McGreevey seemed torn as to what to say. The audience (fully of great looking male students) was very friendly during the Q&A. Many bought his book and got McGreevey's signature. There were no tough questions, perhaps because McGreevey admitted up front that he would still be in the closet but for Golan Cipel. In preparation I saw McGreevey on Larry King's show last week. McGreevey came off well. At Penn, he gave a rambling 20-minute talk, which most ex- politicians would have done betterl…

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtm...7/cnlgbt117.xml Credit Suisse has become the first major bank to target the pink pound with a bespoke private banking service provided by gay advisers. The Swiss banking giant’s new service will cover all the traditional aspects of private banking, alongside tailored services to deal with events such as civil partnership and adoption. Credit Suisse said that gay role models - such as Boris Johnson’s chief of staff Nicholas Boles - have helped boost the confidence of the younger gay community - leading to an increased desire to be dealt with by those that understand their lifestyle. That might be the simplest way to sum up John McCain's campaign for the US presidency right now. He's not winning, but he's running stronger than anyone knows how to explain. McCain is a fascinating figure with a compelling personal and political story. He was a feisty young pilot shot-down in Vietnam, where he was imprisoned for nearly six years. As a 71-year-old Senator, he is still an outspoken figure, willing to wage a lonely battle without, or even against, his own party. Right now, McCain is in an uphill fight for the presidency and ought to be doing badly, hurt by an unpopular Republican incumbent, two wars and a terrible economy. By contrast, Barack Obama is a…

In another post I mentioned that the 7:30 Olympics show was going to feature that hot Asian gymnast. It's over on the East Coast by now, well I think so, but my mom called to tell me to be sure to watch it. I love to watch the muscular gymnasts, but I hadn't told her that. She said there were some really cute guys to see. Of course, I told her I would not notice something like that, but she knew better. So now I have my mom helping me check out guys...geez, what's the world coming to? She's 90 years old! I wonder if this is what she thought would interest me? http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/0bNQgZv5osbCJ/610x.jpg

The fucking homophobes are at it again. I'm against the idea of marriage in general - but still think that we should be allowed the same types of sexless miserable long term relationships that straight people take for granted. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hZmLBrL...vB5hYwD92J9QL80 BOSTON (AP) — The gay marriage fight in Massachusetts might not be over after all. Opponents of same-sex marriages are seeking a ballot question that would prevent gay and lesbian couples from getting married here if their union wouldn't be legal in their home state. Brian Camenker of the group Mass Resistance said Friday lawmakers and Gov. Deval Patrick bowed to the will of the …

I have not had a chance to see much of the the Summer Olympics but tonight while setting in a restaurant, surrounded by multiple Televisions all showing the games, it was a commercial that caught my eye. It appeared to be set at the original Olympics in Greece. An unbelievable hot, shirtless diskus thrower comes into the Stadium before a huge crowd and throws his disc. Now this guy was H O T... HOTTTTTTTTTTT. Unbelievable abs & chest. At least a 8pack...AWESOME. Face was very handsome also. I have absolutely no idea what he was advertising, but he was definitely worth watching. Did I mention this guy was HOT!!!!! The commercial actually turned out to be quite funny.…

It was suggested in the thread for the new version of the site that we remove clutter in the forums and have fewer forums. We currently have many forums here. We can: 1. Move some of the old forums into the forums we decide to keep and that will enable users to view and post on them. or 2. We can archive all of the older forums and have them as read only forums. or 3. Open to other options. So, which forums should we keep? Which ones should be move or archive? Any input or suggestions are much appreciated.

According to the study released today Gay men usually have several older brothers. I guess I'm an exception -- WASHINGTON - Having several older brothers increases the likelihood of a man being gay, a finding researchers say adds weight to the idea that there is a biological basis for sexual orientation. "It's likely to be a prenatal effect," said Anthony F. Bogaert of Brock University in St. Catharines, Canada, "This and other studies suggest that there is probably a biological basis for" homosexuality. S. Marc Breedlove of Michigan State University said the finding "absolutely" confirms a physical basis. "Anybody's first guess would have been that the older broth…

I was surfing around the blogs mentioned on this site and found several self suck video clips. It must be great to be able to self suck, especially on those lonely nights As I was watching these clips I became curious about straight guys. I wondered if thosestraight boys who physically are able, actually self suck? It seems to me they might be too uptight to do so, but then again, gay or straight I can't imagine anyone letting such a talent go to waste. What do you guys think about straight boys, do they self suck?

What if you could take a drug that would quickly alter your sexual orientation from straight to gay, or vice versa? To their surprise, neurobiologists have discovered that homosexuality can be turned on or off in fruit flies. They’d known that sexual orientation can be genetically programmed, but they didn’t realize it could also be altered by giving a drug that changes the way the flies’ sensory circuits react to pheromones. Within hours of the treatment, previously heterosexual male fruit flies would be courting other males, and treatment could also cause flies who had been engaging in homosexual behavior to become exclusively heterosexual, the neurobiologists r…
