"All night entertainment venues, including wet massage parlours, will open their doors again on Wednesday and some foreigners will be allowed into the country, but not tourists, as virus lockdown restrictions are further eased.

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Monday gave the greenlight for all remaining entertainment facilities to reopen from Wednesday. They include pubs and bars, karaoke bars, and bath-sauna-massage establishments. "

"All reopening premises will be required to use the Thai Chana platform, created to alert businesses and customers to any Covid-19 outbreak.

Investors and highly skilled workers from Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore will be allowed entry to the country on condition they enter a self-sponsored quarantine programme at private facilities arranged by the government. Short-term business visitors will be exempt from the requirement.

Foreigners who have family in Thailand, and those who have homes in the kingdom, will also be allowed to return, according to the spokesman.

Allowing in tourists from countries matched up with Thailand through a "travel bubble" did not get the full approval of board members of the CCSA, which is chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.

Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said health safety measures still have to be ironed out for Thai tourists going to other countries, and foreign tourists arriving here.

The Disease Control Department and Foreign Ministry were still working on guidelines which were also acceptable to partner countries, which have different health requirements, said Mr Anutin, whose Bhumjaithai Party guides health and tourism policies.

Foreigners coming to Thailand for medical treatment will be permitted in from Wednesday, but they must be accompanied by their partner, and enter quarantine at the hospital they go to.

“Only some medical tourism programmes, not all of them, will be permitted,” Dr Taweesilp said.

The decision to open up more businesses, and some travel, was made after more than a month without any new local infections being recorded in Thailand.

The meeting also agreed to extend use of the emergency decree until the end of July.

Restrictions were earlier lifted on restaurants, schools, malls and many sports activities - with enforcement of social distancing and body temperature checks.  "

Note: But closed over the weekend for Buddha holidays...

"The Cabinet today (March 17) approved a temporary closure of entertainment venues in Bangkok and Greater Bangkok for 14 days, starting from tomorrow (March 18), as the government beefs up measures to stem the Covid-19 outbreak.

Places affected include movie theatres, pubs, bars, traditional massage parlours and other entertainment venues listed under a related law."

  4. Here is the place to go:

    https://www.pulse-clinic.com/

In the heart of the gay bkk area.

Discreet, efficient and friendly. HIV test result within 20 minutes ,same for syh. other test take maybe 10 days, they will email your other results to you. For every test they will give written report of result. Also no need give your full or indeed real name or show id. Discretion is assured.

I thought I wrote a review for this clinic on this forum, but maybe not.

U could say u are going to be tested and get him to be tested at same time.

  5. Recently visited this place. Not easy to get there . Took a taxi who made a wrong turning before he eventually found it.

Breathtaking to learn the building/complex etc cost 50 billion baht.

High ceiling floors with Hi-so designs, each level resembling show rooms.

    Grossly overpriced almost throughout.

Most of the people seemed to be there to enjoy the free air con et al. They need to go early and find the free public area seating  and spend all day on the phone or tablet.

I have seen more interesting day and night markets with far better prices.

The only place that seemed a bit busy was the mandatory MK outlet.

The ground floor has a few colorful Thai style displays but all in all... 50 million baht?!

    Ludicrous!

  6. OP: I do not know about the ones u mention but you ask about "other places".

A couple of weeks ago I went here:

    http://www.theprincebkk.com/ourboys.php

    -directions in web site.

I was very impressed. Mostly muscular /toned guys/clean cut. Usually not my style but could still find a number to my liking. Can view the guys through a glass partition where there is a mini gym area.

The place is beautifully clean, professional and all the guys look healthy and fit.

The m-s or whatever he calls himself is friendly and helpful and told me exactly which guy can do what.

He claims the staff regularly have health checks and no steroid users.

Private rooms, and I paid a bit extra for a larger room.

    Own shower/ toilet.

Very good massage and the happy ending I expected which was totally safe.

Seems the place  popular; I went early afternoon and later on it got busy mainly Asians.

I have tried a few of the massage places in Silom and Prince is far superior in choice of masseurs, cleanliness and service.

Now some of the guys have had nose and face jobs so whilst a turn off for me  if the boys think it makes them better, up to them.

If you are looking for a cheap place then forget it as whilst the prices are higher than elsewhere I will return to Prince again.

With the boys tip, 2 glasses of good quality white wine and a lovely private room booked for 90 minutes I had not much change from 4000 baht.

    Worth it!

  7. Disturbing or not, worth a discussion.

Have to remember (and correct me if I am wrong)  Prep only protects the one who is using it...right? so if someone is using Prep but unbeknown to him he already has HIV then he can still pass it on to his sexual partner if the latter is not using  Prep and they go bareback... yes?

By the way anyone know the cost of Prep per month? I have asked around some say as low as 700 baht per month others say a few thousand per month?

And any side effects from anyone here who is using Prep?

At the moment I will stay with condoms but i am open to change my mind...

  8. And is your advice good for the goose as for the gander? Does anyone provide a photo, etc, of themselves to a prospective client?

Not quite sure what you are getting at; it is usually the case the boy is an MB and as z909 points out the MB's concern is less about what the client looks like but more about his tip.

The MB visits the client, not for his looks, whilst with the client it is usually only about looks.

But anyway if a video call is made both can see each other.....
