Bangkok – A fitness center in Bangkok was raided where officers discovered many used condoms and said the center was allegedly being used secretly as a meetup location for gay sexual activities.

Police from the Children and Woman Protection Sub-Division told TPN media that on Friday night (July 7th) they raided a fitness center and sauna on the Ratchada Phisek Road near the Mahai Sawan Intersection.

The raid came after law enforcement officers received anonymous complaints that the place was operated as a place for gays to have various sexual activities and not for fitness. Many used condoms were found by law enforcement on the grounds of the center in small massage rooms. The fitness center collected 200 baht in entry fees from men each time they visited.

    Thanks for the tips!

Question:  Do you just straightforwardly ask for what you want to do?  Like, "I wanna suck your d*ck and get f*cked, are you willing to do that? How much?"

     Yes correct.

Explain exactly what is required. And make sure the boy understands.

If in a bar, make sure the Mama San says the boy does understand or use your phone to translate so there can be no misunderstanding.

Say what you want to do and what is expected from them.

Say how long u want them to stay, e.g. short time or otherwise.

Whether u want bare back or not.

Before taking the boy agree the tip that will be paid including any travel cost or other costs.

-If they cannot do or perform as agreed then at your discretion you can reduce the tip. Never pay in advance.

    By way of an example:

Many years ago, in the early morning in the reception area of a well-known gay hotel a big argument arose between a farang and a boy. Apparently the farang wanted to fuck the boy and if the farang is being truthful the boy only revealed when in the room that he the boy was top only.

Believe it or not the police were called, and both were taken to the station.

    No idea of the outcome.

when was last time you were in Bangkok bars?

for me they are twink infested,  twinks encroaching even on Tawan territory

Question :  How many twinks does it take to put in a light bulb?

Answer:  Only one...but it takes the entire Emergency room to get it out.

A Thai man filed a complaint with the police in Samut Prakarn province near Bangkok yesterday after his boyfriend stole over 200,000 baht of gold accessories.

The victim, a 69 year old man named Songchai “Noobird” Maicharoen, allowed reporters from Channel 3 to visit his house to conduct an interview regarding the theft case. The house of the alleged thief’s boyfriend, a 28 year old man named Geng, is located only 50 metres away from Noobird’s home.

Noobird revealed that he and Geng had been in a relationship for about six months, and had no idea that Geng had a habit of stealing as he was introverted. On the day of the incident, Geng was at home alone because Noobird visited a neighbour. Upon returning home, he discovered that Geng was already gone, along with his valuable assets.

Noobird further disclosed that Geng knew where he kept all his gold accessories. The stolen items included three gold bracelets, one gold necklace, one gold ring, and a watch worth over 200,000 baht. Geng has not returned to his house and blocked Noobird’s phone and social media accounts.

"According to Gen. Torsak, a group of Indian and Thai nationals formed a call center gang to scam retirees in the United States. The group swindled money from the victims by saying the victims were involved in legal cases, posing themselves as FBI officers, or hacking the victims’ computers. Between 2020-2021, there were 72,000 reported cases with damages totaling more than 3 billion baht.

The victims varied in occupations, such as doctors, university professors, dentists, military personnel, and business owners, Gen. Torsak said. Most of them were swindled out of their hard-earned life savings."

The boys in the pictures are indeed cute, many my type, but 3000 total for a handjob by a fully dressed masseur would be the worst value for money I ever had. I would call it a scam.

    I agree entirely.

If I want a hand job, I can do it myself for free!

To be fair, and put the record straight, CM Immigration have a very sensible and civilised approach to TM30; the problem was with Bangkok who I believe handle TM30 reporting online.

Excuse me I am now totally confused. I assume you make your 90-day report to CM. When you visit BKK a TM 30 you say needs to be made which causes problems with your 90 report. But that report is made to and decided by CM.

So how is that the problem with Bangkok immigration?

    Please explain.

  9. Maybe I am suffering from some brain fog but to whom exactly does TM 30 apply to?

If one is living here long time say in BKK (eg on a retirement visa) going to another province for a short visit and staying there at a hotel for a few days requires no notification by the guest to immigration?

    Right or not?

Added : I did some research after my initial posting here and it seems that CM immigration is one of the few offices which enforce TM 30 as the OP describes.

I assume the OP is in CM or deals with an immigration office that handles TM 30 differently.

  10. Re Grindr what I would like to see more here is a discussion about the practice of lot of members on grindr  posting fake or fabricated profiles. Technology enables them to change their faces and bodies etc. and give more favorable usually false details about themselves such as age or weight and so on.

Now I know an answer to this is to meet in a neutral location first or to have a live video call before inviting them home; but I would be glad to hear how others cope with this.

No need to tell me that you have never had this problem. Whatever you say it is widespread on Grindr especially from MB's or those seeking benefits.

It sounds like your friend might be asking for bars where he can meet other gay men, in which case Silom Sois 2 and 4 are by far his best options. But if he just wants a place to drink with his gay companions, he can go anywhere in Bangkok. The whole city really is gay-friendly, as others have already said in this thread. To find new places, I like rummaging through the online reviews at BK Magazine. My boyfriend and I have found a lot of great places all over the city this way and we've always been warmly welcomed wherever we go.

So ... I highly recommend Mezcal Bar just off Sathorn, a little behind the W Hotel, even though I've never been there. It has a great writeup:

Many thanks BiggusDikkus . The best reply to my question so far with a specific example for an alternative drinking place. I actualy blame myself for using the expression:

"gay-friendly". I should of used the phrase:

    "gay-popular" or similar.

    🙂

  12. An acquaintance -fairly new to Bangkok- has asked me for advice re gay drinking places: bars, pubs etc.

He has been to Soi 4 and  he has a appetite for plenty of booze so  he finds the go go bars expensive.

Can anyone recommend some gay friendly drinking places?

He is staying in the Silom area so I guess he would want that area eg patpong, but any suitable places not so far away is ok.

Many thanks and 2023 greetings to everyone!

    🍾
