BANGKOK TRIP REPORT
 
First of all thanks to Vinapu for the encouragement (and his wonderful report as an inspiration). Sorry that I didn’t have the time to write the report when I was in Bangkok.
 
Day 1.
 
The first day on my mind as I landed in Bangkok was Hero (my last visit in August was awesome!). So I went there via BTS from Silom around 6pm.
 
Arrived, and I was surprised there were only around 15 boys in the “aquarium” and I was the only customer. This is not the Hero that I remembered! Slow night maybe.
 
Sat beside Somsak, my favourite captain there, in the corner near the entrance door. He was occupied for a while with facebook. After few minutes chatting with him, he took me to sit in front of the aquarium.
 
This time around, there weren’t any stand outs, such a disappointment (and my favourite, the one who gave me out of this world pleasure last august was also missing!) However, there was one boy who kept flirting with me (others were too but not as trying as hard as him). There was also one cheeky boy who kept standing in front of the other boys, purposely blocking my view, trying his luck with me.. ha ha!. He is really cute, but he kept his shirt on, so I guess he doesn’t have the body to die for.
 
One boy that I took June this year, was also there. He kept smiling at me. I was tempted to take him, he is really my type. Tall, cute, great body. However, we did not connect at all, he was dead serious. Plus, I remembered when he was massaging me, I kept looking at him and noticed that his face was a lot more older…. Hmmm. And my next trip after that, I asked Somsak about him and his age. Somsak told me that he is an old man. 40 plus plus. Whattttt??? How come he looks like in his late 20’s (close to 30)?? Anyway, back to the trip report. I had a hard time choosing (funny isn’t it, I usually complaint about Hero that it is hard to pick when there are too many boys, and now, I’m in the same situation with less boys.. urghhh!!!)
 
Somsak suddenly took my hand and asked me to come and look inside the aquarium. Whattttt???? I kept saying no to him, because I would definitely feel awkward and shy, but Somsak insisted. He pulled my hand and the next thing I remembered was, there were lots of boys smiling at me close up, lots of wais and hi and hellos. I kept looking down flushing. Huge butterfly in my stomach!!!
 
And finally, I made my pick.
 
He was ok in the looks department, tall, dark skin. Was not able to kick out any of the boys in  my Top 10 list of gorgeous men that I offed/ took in Bangkok. Maybe because at that time I couldn’t think straight…
 
Anyway, as we got in the shower, this boy did not waste any time kissing me and hugging me so tight… whoaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Hold on a second there… let’s start with a proper massage first!!!
Well, his massage was strong, and I liked it. His “extras” was great too, I know that he tried his best-est to make sure that I was satisfied. That is what I liked about him (and boys who shows their determination). I know that some of these boys will do their best and go for extra miles because they want us to take them back in our next visit.. right?
 
 I was indeed satisfied that night. We did have some sort of a connection since his English is ok.

Oh yes, I love Hero.. still my no 1.! My only disappointment was that my favourite was not there, and the boys were not as many as usual.. maybe i should go during the weekend as my friend told me that, that is the best time to visit Hero.

Yesterday I went to MBK for some shopping - I do love that place - everything that you can immagine (and more) all under one roof with some VERY good prices. For example, a fake Armani shirt for 700 baht (17 euro) where the real one back in Italy would cost 4,200 baht (100 euro).
 
I found the following address for Hero Massage from the internet at 65 Sukhumvit Soi 11. I put that address in my smartphone map navigation program and it told me to take the Sukhumvit BTS to the Ekamai station, which let me out at 63 Sukhumvit. I walked to 65 Sukhumvit and then walked and walked and walked trying to find Soi 11. Unfortunately, 65 Sukhumvit becomes Sukhumvit 71 after Soi 10 - there is NO Soi 11. So I walked back to the main Sukhumvit where there is the BTS line to ask the local mocy drivers for help. Unfortunately noone could help me. So, I returned to the BTS station and a cute mocy boy stopped me and said to me, "you call friend I speak". I called Hero and the mocy guy spoke to them and the problem was resolved - but it required a hair raising nervous 30 minute drive through rush hour traffic. The correct address is Soi 11 (near the Nana BTS station) which is off the Sukhumvit - the number 65 has nothing to do with it. So much for using technology to your advantage. I tipped that great mocy guy very well - he was an amazingly great driver and smart at solving problems.
 
so ventured into the Hero Massage place needing a stiff drink but settled for ice water when I saw ALL of those HOT and sexy guys behind the giant glass wall. There must have been at least 30 guys - it was around 7pm and the reception area only had two other customers who were also choosing. What a sight for sore eyes. I told the mamasaan that I wanted a 4 hand 2 hour massage and then I picked out what I thought were the 2 hottest guys. I asked the mamasaan to go and see if the guys would have any problems working together. He returned to tell me and said, "one is man the other is gay". I said no problem and then the guys brought me into a nearby room and we disrobed and took a sexy shower together. Then they put me on a marble slab to give me an intense rub down. Then we washed off together and dried ourselves and went into the next room where the bed is to start the cream massage. By this point I understood that the gay guy is very queeny for my tastes (but very entertaining). That big glass wall in reception that separates the customer from the guys - does not help you to understand if the guy has a masculine or non masculine voice - something that is important to me. Anyway back to the fun. So after they finished massaging my back and front with a combined Sports Sensual and Traditional Thai massage (which was excellent by the way) we took yet another shower (very clean guys I must say). Then we dried ourselves and we got back into the bed. The gay guy started to kiss my neck and cheecks while I caressed his hot body meanwhile the man put on a condom and tried to start to penetrate me when I said to him, "wait, I am man like you". He replied, "Ok we fuck gay guy" and then the gay guy screamed in ecstasy in a girly way - he could not wait any longer and sat on my cock after putting on the condom while I tried to caress the sexy man guy. Then we switched roles and the man massage guy fucked the gay guy while I caressed both of them - it was very hot. Then they chuckwowed me and we all came together and then had a fun final shower together. The rapport between them was very entertaining, as Ping, the 24 year old gay guy is from Bangkok and Jon the 26 year old man guy is from Chiang Mai - so there was a lot of rivalry between them on "who does it better".
 
So, Hero is definitely all worth what everyone writes about. The house asked for 1,400 for the 2 hours and the guys got 1,500 each plus an extra tip for their great and entertaining performance.
 
Hero could do ALL of us a great service by creating their own webpage to avoid confusion on finding the place and implement a way to let us hear the guys speak during the selection process, as the glass blocks this important step.
 
Then went to eat dinner and then back to the hotel and remained in for the night as I was too tired for the 12:15 Dream Boys show. So that shall be for tonights adventure.

Reviewing all the entries it seems that Moses did have all the answers.

Left BKK this morning to return to Pattaya. Last 2 days were strictly Xmas related.  Spent the time with a good friend and his family of 3 boys , 2 of then very young..  I did try for a couple of late night hook ups off of Gayromeo but BKK requires more work and time because of the distance boys have to travel .  Just could not make them happen 
 
Depending on the area the time for them to come to Ploenchit area can be lengthy because of the demonstrations. Don't yet trust Jack"d because of much younger photos being used in my experience.

I will conclude my Xmas report with Xmas day.
After a lazy playful day, it was time for dinner. I wasn't in the mood for a farang special
dinner, especially after the excellent turkey dinner at Coco's a few nights before.
Bf suggested a karaoke restaurant. Karaoke not my thing but it can't be all about us all
the time. A friend of his joined us and we went down a dirt road to some wooden huts on
a large pond. It could have been in a rural village but was in Pattaya. Each hut was widely
spaced around the pond, which is for fishing daytime. Bf stopped for change of 100b. for
10b. Coins to feed the karaoke box. Food was very good featuring a soup you add ingredients
to and a large meaty fish and of course Leo beer.
Sorry, I have no idea of name of place but could get from bf if anyone wants to try a Thai
experience away from the commercial scenes in Pattaya.

Now I feel like asshole sticking my nose where it doesn't belong, sorry for being so nosy.
 
Sure I'm happy for you to be back in proper "vacation in Thailand" mood. 
 
Friend of mine landed in BKK at midnight on Christmas Day/ I don't say today as in BKK is already 26th when i'm typing those words/  and e-mailed me that in his 13 trips he never experienced such a cold air there. So I gather days are pleasant but nights may be chilly . I feel sorry for all those massage boys in shorts in front of their shops.
 
 
 
Now I know what I missed at Tawan, I was there with boy from Dreamboys  who was falling asleep  and at one point I took pity on him and went to hotel missing fuck and J/O show you described - one more reason to re-visit bar on next trip.
 
Tawan must be only bar with J/O show as I did not see it in any of soi Twilight  bars.
 
Recently there was quite a few very favorable reflections about meeting with Tawan boys on various boards as legend had it they are  not that productive - looks it's not truth.
 
2000 for Silom was short or long term rate ? / I think   you mean short term /. If you were happy with man I don' think you overpaid, Is this what he suggested or you felt this is what you should pay?
 
As for Dreamboys boys I'm curious as what you will discover in terms of tip. When I had misfortune with one of their boy  mamasan I spoke to suggested short time rate 1500 / I paid 1000 which was 990 to much anyways in said case/.
Another long time got 2500 and did not complain , shouldn't as was not that great. 
 
Third boy from them asked 3000 and got it fully deserved and would pay this to him even if asked 2000.

Since the Babylon is so near the Lumpini Park I ventured there yesterday. It's very lovely and reminded me of being in Central Park in New York with all of the skyscrapers in the background. I did manage to come across a monitor lizard. I tried to get close to take a picture but not close enough. They are amazing creatures - like something from Jurassic Park just wandering about in Bangkok's Central Park. I also walked by the famous outdoor gym where all the buff macho Thai guys were working out. What bodies and testosterone. I saw a couple of people-like-us sitting on nearby park benches - I would immagine for a post workout hook-up.....so, Lumpini Park is well worth a visit.
 
I was still feeling hung-over from the night before (I normally don't over do it but last night being in 4 different go-go bars did me in) so I decided to rest by the pool at Babylon. It was nice and relaxing and very quit, as us gay falang can be when everybody is being in that cautious I don't know you mood.
 
Then around 5:15pm off to start the long journey to the otherside of Bangkok in rush-hour to meet Christian for dinner in the famous backpacking shopping tourist zone called, Khao San Road. First MRT to Silom, then change to BTS to the Saphan Taksin station to transfer to the Chao Phraya River boat service, exiting at the Phra Arthit Pier. Total transit time was 1.5 hours - which included the extra time at Silom as the first train to arrive was too packed to be able to get on.
 
Met the infamous ChristianPFC at around 7:25pm and we had a nice pizza together. For me it was great to ask him a million questions about what it is like to live and work in Thailand - as I also have this wish for myself if I can manage to win an interview competition that we will have next year for a new position that will be created in our Bangkok office.
 
Then Christian took me to the nearby gigantic night market which is on the way to Saranrom Park, our objective for the night. Basically, you walk an entire area that consists of the outer perimeter of Saranrom Park and the Grand Palace, which takes around 35 minutes to make one loop. On the first loop there were only a few boys out and about. For me, the most interesting ones were on the river side of the Grand Palace along the sidewalk opposite more towards the river. There was also an interesting bunch on the road between the Grand Palace and the park itself on the park side walk side. The boys were super friendly to Christian as he speaks Thai and is young looking like the boys. Things picked up on our 2nd loop with even more guys out and about. Perhaps I saw about 15 to 20 guys - but spread out over a vast distance - some were solo and others were in small groups of 3 to 4. What was the most amazing to me was the older men in taxis driving by trying to chat up the boy from inside the taxi from the window. I have never seen anything like this and I can only immagine the stories that the taxi drivers have to tell. Like in the go-go bars, you have to be fast to get the cuter guys because with only 20 guys available the people in private cars and taxis had a clear advantage over Christian and myself. Christian mentioned that tonight was a slow night and that there are usually more boys out and about.
On the third loop, Christian and myself, we parted ways and went in opposite directions. I chatted with 2 different boys along the way - but the first guy wanted to know where Christian was and the second guy could not speak English. So, it being almost midnight and after hiking for more than 2 hours, I called it quits and took a taxi back to Babylon.
 
So, would I do it again? Probably not, as the area is just too vast that one must cover on foot. I would have prefered a smaller more dense area. However, it was a fun and stimulating adventure, even if I did go home alone. I think Twilight and Silom 2 and 4 are more my cup of tea.

Last night, Xmas eve, Boyztown had snow and Santa and lots of tykes. Even Santa's Grotto.
Pattayaland Soi 3, aka Boyztown, was quite lively and busy.
We stopped in Wild West Boys on Pattayaland Soi 2. About ten boys, with 3 or 4 unusually handsome and hot.
We were only customers and while the music was too loud, there are treasures there that will stay undiscovered.
Drinks 220B., even soft drinks but not too much if you include the show. We didn't stay for it.
Next stop was Boyz, Boyz,Boyz. Lots of Gogo boys, most on the older, more manly side with some very hot.
Show was uneven with erotic parts and some went flat. Xmas theme with several lads only wearing garlands.
Most interesting was a very large black sheet with holes, held up by several lads. Three boys had condomed
boners jutting out and they jiggled their goods. An entertaining twist on a glory hole moment.
Last stop was Toy Boys. Lots of boys too, even though it was a morlam concert night.

It'll go on as long as the foreign capital flows out of Thailand....which has happened for about 6 months now (and I, just guessing, don't see why that won't continue for at least the next 4-6 months).  A lot of money flowed into Thailand which was chasing good returns (bank account interest, for one) and the Thai economy has been going downhill most of this year, the banks keep lowering the interest they'll pay (they were paying 3.75% in October for 22-month funds whereas that's now approaching 3% - a pretty swift lowering), the western economies are improving, the long-term interest rates are beginning to rise in the west (well, at least in the US), and, of course, there isn't a lot of confidence in the Thai political situation.  Most of the drop, though, occurred before the current unrest although it's accelerated quite a bit in the last few weeks).
 
The Thai baht has lost 14% against the dollar since May. And of that amount, over 2% of that occurred in the last 10 days.  Rather dramatic drops there. 
 
On the other hand, Thai exports sure ought to pick up in 2014 as the price of their goods will be significantly lower  Given the percentage of gdp that Thai exports (of services and goods) represents - over 70% - a falling baht can provide some good things here (in the US, exports of goods and services only represents about 14% of gdp).

I think is fear of travel to places with different culture and language. Most people are comfortable only in places they know and if they venture abroad  it's for organized trips - not an option for somebody planning on whoring.
 
And to go to developing country - they may have impression they will be sleeping on floor , eating fried insects and taking shower only once a week for lack of running water.
 
So porn and hand seems more secure and comfortable for them

Don't feel intimidated by posters claiming you paid too much - your money, your pleasure, nobody's business. And I think contrary to what impression we may have people understand this, when I reported on few occasion that I paid 3000 for long time whees seems over the odds not a single voice suggested I'm stupid or something.

I could not agree more with this statement. I went home to New York at the end of September for 1 month and I was picked out of the line for "a special interview". The TSA lady made it sound like I won a prize and said come with me. When I responded to the question that I have lived out of the USA since 1999 - they get weird and want to know every country you have lived in. They took my laptop from me and then wiped the external borders of it with a peice of paper. When I asked what were they doing with my computer they did not respond to me. Then they let me go.
 
I don't believe that I will be retiring in the USA when I finish working. I hate the way they treat us "fellow Americans". If I complain to my family or friends they say that I am being un-American and un-patriotic. What happened to the America I left in 1999? I feel they have been brainwashed or body-snatched.....

Congratulations, he looks like a gem. Mistake likely  was made by those who offed other boys and overlooked this one.
 
This is what I call  joy of discovery, I do not ask any questions about performance and preferences, just go with my  guts and see what happens. Not always works but experience counts too.
 
If you say you never get less and enjoyed more reason for that is one : CHEMISTRY and this is much scarcer that good sexual compatibility.

I took firecats suggestion and headed over to Dreamboys and Bangkok Boys. I was very impressed as Dream Boys had one of the best erotic shows that I have ever seen in my life. Both bars were packed - mostly Asians - but us non Asians were very welcome even if we were only 10% of the audience.
I sat next to an Asian women and one of the straight go-go boys took a fancy to her - I tried to encourage her to go for it as the guy was super hot but she was too shy. I told her that I wished I was her as I would of definitely offed that guy. In the end I did not off anyone as I drank too much (I did not want to waste my money and then to have performance problems) - but I had a great time with firecat and then with the waiter at Dreamboys and then Bangkok Boys - and of course to have drooled over all of the multitudes of sexy masculine guys...

Met  bkkmfj2648  at Classic around 920pm.  Now it is Monday night and I have never seen the roads around my Hotel deader and all the way to SoiTwilight was dead also .  I arrived around 855 pm so stopped at Dick's for a drink first . Almost nobody there.
 
Not a Good Omen for Classic.   Classic had maybe 6 customer and 14 boys but the quality IMHO was really good. Definitely twinkish and good faces .  Probably 6 I would consider offable and that is a lot for me especially in a bar that has constantly disappointed me.
 
I focused on 1 boy right away and knew this might be the first boy I have offed from Soi Twilight in a very long time.  The customers were definitely not  lookers but were constantly offing boys while I was there.  I would guess 6 boys were offed in the first 20 minutes I was there.  Luckily the boy focused on was not offed yet and I called him over for a drink.
 
I knew from the moment I saw him that I was going to off him which of course means I didn't ask him anything about what he liked or was willing to do.
 
Depending on how you look at it that was a mistake.  He spoke no English and I am pretty sure he is real straight , but I didn't care eventhough I knew right away I was not going to get what I wanted.
 
His personality shone through even with out English skills and if I was living in BKK, I would make him my project to teach him how to have fun as a Gay Boy.
 
I may never have got less and enjoyed it more.  It also turns out he is photgenic which amazingly is hard to find. I love the photos he willingly let me take.
 
That was the only Bar I stopped at but bkkmfj2648 was on his way to Boys Bangkok so we should have a report from him.
 
Like most Bars in Thailand, it does depend on the night but Classic may be worth your time especially if you like handsome twinks.

Just goes to prove that there are 57 varieties of Campbell Soup and everyone has different experiences.
 
If I was to pick the 5 Hottest boys I have met in the last 3 years , they would all be from Gayromeo.  I have not had a single repeat encounter with a Bar Boy in about 4 years. And I have had multiple , many repeats from GayRomeo. 
 
Up until about 4 years ago I was strictly a Bar goer and for the 3 years I lived in Bangkok , I had multiple repeat boys from the Bars.
 
Not sure exactly how it changed but practice makes perfect and I have had incredible Good Luck with Gayromeo.
 
Part of it is because I can have a conversation on Gayromeo even if it is google translated for the boy where as in the Bar , I can barely hear myself think with what has become deafening music. Also most of the bar Boys know 2 or 3 phrases and that is it.
 
Not trying to change anyones mind, just saying what has worked for me .  It took some practice and time to figure out the pitfalls of gayromeo but now at worst I get an acceptable encounter as a minimum and a Hot Boy 50% of the time.
 
At most 1 out of 10 is a Dud.  I rarely ever did that well in the Bars.
 
 
Hope springs eternal however and I am about to leave for SoiTwilight and hopefully I will see what others have seen at Classic and possibly HotMale.

Went to BKK for 3 nights over Xmas.  All the Malls are done up in their finest for the Holidays.  Absolutely y no traffic on way in from Pattaya. It almost looked like a Saturday.  The SkyTrain was busy as usual and I spent an hour at Siam Paragon just wandering around.
 
Lots of eye candy but hard to get good shots with I phone . I have to remember next time to bring my compact with 20x zoom which lets me get some good boy photos without being obtrusive.
 
I wil probably visit Soi Twilight tonight.  I keep reading reports about how many gorgeous twinks there are at Classic. It has been disappointing to me but maybe tonight will be better.
