If you have attractive face and body, sauna is a cheaper way to sample local cuisine lol. That said, do sample everything u can. Try the massage at wat pho temple as well, cheap great massage and very authentic thai. For the food, my favorites are meng kam, pad thai, green curry beef with noodle, tom yum kung, chicken with basil to name a few.

The different with office is you only have 1 employer, so you maintain a good work ethic because u want to continue working for that employer. I stayed at dusit thani and there are no joiner fee. In fact, if u are coming from salaedang, u will use the back entrance, which is not the same level as the lobby, and can go straight to your room from the lift there. No one asked me or my off for the night id though, but i only did that once.

Since this is your first trip, id assume youll have the usual touristy stuff to do as well. In that case, id suggest you to stay anywhere near bukit bintang area. Another area to consider is near kl central station. On the massage center, most of them are scattered around KL, 2 of them in bukit bintang, 2 in cheras, 2 in taman desa, 1 in kl sentral etc. u get the idea. I believe cambodia have their own different new year, but im not sure if they also celebrate chinese new year. Most south east asia country celebrate them, the different being how many days were allocated for pulic holiday. For malaysia, its 2 days public holiday for most states, with some states only have 1 public holiday.

If the embassy closed during public holiday, then itll be 7-8 days off.

I had similar experience with some massage session before and it usually happens at these dedicated for fun massages. I usually ignored all their advances until its time, then only i cave lol works 90% of the time unless the masseur is really irresistible and im too horny. Sadly, malaysian are also discriminated against other malaysians when it comes to high end places, like boutique retails and hotel, where they immediately assumed we dont have enough money to buy stuff there and just there to have a look see, when actually some of us can easily afford things, but doesnt mean we will spend like there's no tomorrow. I guess that would also happen in other SEA countries as well.

Actually for me, massage in my home country is cheaper than bangkok, both normal massage and gay massage. 2 hour normal massage can be as low as usd 20 here. And gay massage, like arena/prince are usually around usd 35-40. And only 1 place where they have minimum tip, sort of, and the rest of the place, tips were discussed with masseur in the room. But in bangkok, i am spoilt with choices since these kind of massage is legal there, not so much so in my country. Many of the massage center are hard to find, with no signage, located on 2nd floor and above, with lock doors and security cameras near the door.
