  1. Grindr free version is not available on my phone anymore and the app is asking to pay for subscription, did it happen to you too ?
  2. I agree with you that most gays aren't into long-term monogamy and commitment relationships and 'butterflying' around, however what you are looking for is simply long-term MB with BF experience.
  3. I don't know from where you took this statistics @Londoner has long term Boyfriend and I agree with him this require commitment, looking for someone to 'play' with him for long-term doesn't making him a Boyfriend. there is nothing to do with monogamy a gay couple can be boyfriends but in open relationships and fuck others or participate together with others in sex .
  4. From what I read You are not quite the loyal serious boyfriend material , when you say looking for BF I assume you mean long term escort ...
  5. Dark skin in Thailand associated with manual workers and lower class this is why you see so many Thais wearing long shirts and pants even on very hot weather to keep their skin light .dark skin guys in Central and north Thailand tend to suffer from the locals looking down on them but not at south and North East (Isaan) where dark skin is fairly common.
  6. Germany is on the list of around 60 countries that their citizens can receive 30 days visa exempt with a further 30 days on offer by visiting the local immigration office.
  7. I would change this statement to : for most in Thailand the more things change, the more they become frustrating ...
  8. In the past the costs of medical bills in Thailand were very cheap but in the past years increased dramatically, No wonder many gay retirees have returned home because they fear the medical bills here once they fall sick.
  9. ...And in their own country, so they no need anymore to escape as tourists to foreign gay tolerable countries like Thailand to fulfill their sexual identity as used to in the past.
  10. Dongtan Beach as gay Beach gone , the gay Beach section in Patong Beach gone, Paradise Complex in Patong and Sunee Plaza in Pattaya reminds ghost towns, what more evidence do you need that the gay clientele in Thailand is not what is used to be ? Regarding the younger gay generation I agree with you they don’t feel the need to be in gay ghettoes and behave like the mainstream tourists.
  11. Unfortunately with the dramatically falling number of gays coming to Thailand there is no financial justification for exclusivey gay hotels anymore , Even Copa and Ambiance at Boyz Town Pattaya are no longer 'gay hotels'.
  12. It's the Thai tendency to order lots kind of dishes to the table and share between all diners it can be justified when the table is full but It's becoming annoying when they are doing it when only you and your local guy are eating when it's clear there is no way you can't eat so much food only the two of you and it's a waste of food. I usually don't allow it and ask him to order a dish or two maximum for each .
  13. It's an inaquraete generalisation , stalls on the street in Thailand are cheap and clean many locals are eating there ,from my experience the stalls with the longer queues are the best .
  14. All of this affair is only a fake show to the Thai people, Taksin will pretend that he's seriously ill and miserable and the king as a mercy act will give him a royal clemency, but to not make it suspiciously planed in advance he will stay in the hospital for couple of months before his final release.
  15. If it happened to me I would ask him to leave immediately , a guy who is trying to film his clients surely had bad intentions to use it for questionable purposes, he did you a favor by packing and leaving.
  16. Is it much easier in Mexico? What is the requirements there for long stay ?
  17. With tumble of the Chinese economy it's not going to happen soon.
  18. Furama Silom and Le Siam you can just bypass the reception with your guests and nobody cares .
  19. But if you paid him half of the tip as he suggested mo harm done LT become ST in terms of cost...
  20. Not sure it's always because they are bored, it may be many other reasons: commitment to their spouse, other clients are calling them to come, errands they need to do and so on.
  21. Thanks for the clarification it's more clear now. If I count the number of countries that eligible for Visa exemption/visa on arrival it's roughly third countries of the world, this leaves two third of the other countries to do visa at the local embassy, It's very rigid immigration policy that wasn't like that at my first visit to Thailand 24 years ago. I asked my Colombian boyfriend if he wants to travel to Thailand with me he must do visa at the local Thai Embassy in Bogota and he's refusing to do so all he said let's look for more friendly countries to visit.I don't blame him .
  22. The problem is not 30 Days or 90 days, the main problem is most of the countries needs to make a visa at the local Thai Embassy it's a frustrating process and you have to pay a fee for it, this causing lot of potential tourists to give up and look for other freindly destinations.
