GPAPA got a reaction from TMax in Thai Pass
And according to Richard Barrow's interview, there's no time limit for Thailand Pass which implies that you may apply as early as you want to ensure you have the pass document.
By the way it's a great news for me to learn that only the result needs to be issued within 72 hours of departure, do you know if anyone did research on this rule? My flight will be on a Monday which I worry taking the test on the previous Friday won't be early enough since most of the testing locations don't work on Weekend. If only the result is needed to be within 72 hours then I may take the RT-PCR test earlier.

I've checked my line account during the whole year and all I saw were owners of massage shops promoting and getting new boys. I don't think they've yet closed once this year (as long as they pay the local police well) and these are all in bangkok

If you're considering a Tokyo connection, ANA and JAL have been providing reliable service prior to and after Nov. 1 opening.

I've taken the plunge and booked for December. Flights booked with Thai Airways and Thailand pass received which took 3 days from application to receipt of QR code.

I think the risks for most of us who take precautions well are not getting covid while on plane, but more of sitting next to someone who's tested positive.
Getting the Covid is something we can avoid by having proper precautions but sitting next to one in plane or transportation to hotel is unpredictable and pure luck.

For the people who are worried about passing vaccination certificate as I did.

When I submitted my vaccination card I was prepared for it to get rejected and planning on having a signed international certificate to re-apply the Thailand Pass.
My application went in for 5 days since Nov 1st with no updates. And today (interestingly enough on a Sunday midnight) I just got approved.

If the official claims U.S as one of the "low risk" countries I think they'll adjust whatever rules possible to let tourists from U.S in.

I read yesterday that it is taking several days for approval of the Thailand Pass (at least 3 days) if a QR code is not submitted for the vaccination card.  As the US does not routinely issue QR codes when receiving the vaccine, the timeline of 5 days for approval for @GPAPA sounds about right.  The item I read said it takes longer if the copy of the vaccination card is received without a QR code, as the Thailand Pass people will then verify the vaccination record.
I can't provide a link.  I don't remember where I saw it since I have read so many articles and websites about the entry requirements in the past 10 days.

    From Khaosod English
Gov’t Extends Foreigners’ Stay to July 31, Halts 90-Day Report
BANGKOK — The government on Tuesday approved another round of automatic visa extension for foreigners residing in Thailand, this time for a further three months.
Government spokeswoman Narumon Pinyosinwat said the Cabinet agreed with the plan proposed by the Immigration Bureau to permit foreigners whose visas had expired since March 26 to stay further until July 31 without having to apply for an extension at immigration offices.
“The outbreak of COVID-19 in Thailand and other countries remains unresolved,” Naruemon said. “If we don’t extend permission to stay, foreigners would have to come to see immigration officers. It would cause overcrowding and risk of infection.”
Naruemon said the 90-day report requirement is also suspended.
The government granted a similar extension earlier this month, allowing stranded foreigners to stay without legal repercussions until April 30.
The move came after widespread complaints of overcrowding and risk of coronavirus infection at immigration offices across the country.

That's what I thought. Since many of the strip clubs in western country have lap dance strippers. And I've never seen a private room in bangkok's bars. It would be so much fun to have some lap dances before offing boys out.

I think most boys would not be able to do a proper lap dance except for the dancers and performers. So you’ll have a higher chance of getting a blow job then a lap dance. But indeed, anything can be arranged with the right boy. Look for the most hype boy on stage, they’ll probably do it.
