More from American or Japanese than from fellow Thai or Chinese. I apologize for this comment about something that is personal. But why would a farang stay "prematurely grey haired"? There are today products that easily do away with grey and white hair, like "just for men". It is understandable that young guys may want to look older. I'm pissed off though when one of my regular masseurs calls me 'papa' which I read as 'grandaddy" but he can be easily silenced by severe reduction of tip with explanation why. Fortunately for all , there are plenty of still very good looking boys who may be less demanding. I accept that completely. The "superstars" are going to be able to ask for higher tips. There are two stunners ( to my eyes of course ) I never offed and I'd be willing to offer 50% bonus to my highest rate if they requested and one I'd be willing to double usual tip but somehow he disappeared when I was there last time but my previous experience with him warrants another run IMNSHO. LOL Well, I was thinking that maybe to look younger IS to look better, but it is all in the eye of the beholder. I have read that some bars in Soi Thaniya don't let Whites in, only Japanese. When walking through Thaniya, ladies don't even look at me. Ignoring white customers in Hero is news to me. However, every time I go to Super A (which is every other month), the boys shortly look up from their phones and then go back to playing with them. I have to wait for another customer to come in to see the boys standing on stage. (That is partially because I only have one drink, don't buy drinks for boys and rarely tip. A vicious circle: boys don't pay attention to me because I haven't offed a boy for a long time, I don't off a boy because they don't pay attention to me. When at Hero in May I was warned by guy I was with not to take one of their boys because he demanded the same premium for the same reason so obviously some boys are pricing themselves by the inch. There may be expectations of tips based on outdated nationality stereotypes that are no longer or were never true, but there is a numerical baseline, regardless of the nationality or the age of the customer. In some of the massage venues, this is even indicated on their service menus. Young customer doesn't mean anything; he could be young and ugly, young and fat or young and anal. If he is young and cute, but has a flawed personality and/or doesn't tip the market rate, word will get around quickly and he will be ostracized. Besides, if the working boy starts to accept a lower tip for whatever reason, his co-workers will see it as undercutting and he will be booted out of the venue. Generally the working boys prefer customers who are clueless, timid and for whom they have to do the least work, who in turn reward them generously for doing almost nothing. Usually, these are the older customers who are quite happy with a grope and feel, some kissing and maybe a hand-job. Last time I checked lawyers, doctors,dentists, hospitals etc all have different prices . Sometimes the higher prices are warranted and sometimes they are not. It is after all a market economy these boys have and they are free to do as they wish. Refuse insulting offers (hopefully), trying to get above normal rate and yes even refusing certain kinds of service or service at all. I love going to Disneyland and despite all of the special effects, Disneyland is not reality. It is a business. Years ago visiting Disneyland was a lot cheaper than today and a lot less Asians visitors. Sounds familiar? Now the cost of visiting Disneyland has sky rocketed and watch out for the masses of rude pushy Asian visitors. Again, sound familiar? The ones traveling in group tours are sometimes loud, but not all of them are rude, only loud, like some but not all Americans, who can be similarly annoying. Inconsiderate behaviour can be seen amongst Asians as well as Caucasians.
