I was out of the airport in less then 45 minutes. This may be because it is a smaller city but, I prefer to think that it is just run efficiently. Uber is ubiquitous and relatively inexpensive, as an aside 2 of my Uber drivers spoke excellent English. The guy who was suppose to meet me at my Air B&B bailed but, I just replaced him with someone else I met on manhunt. The city is filled with many great "hipster" restaurants. My favorite was a burger place called "Pig's Pearls". The guys are gorgeous, almost Colombian level. GDL has a higher concentration of lighter skinned guys, though I prefer my bottoms with a little more melanin I was very pleased with what was available. I did the Tequila tour, Lake Chapala and an excellent tour to Tlaquepaque. One of my contacts recommended the Renacer Day Spa as a great place to meet guys for massages and fun. Unfortunately, I did not avail myself of the facilities, there is another Spa that also received good reviews called riilax. A place where guys sometimes hang out to make supplemental income is near the Park de Revolution called Park de Rojo by the locals because of the prominent red paint used on in the facilities. The Hotel Portobelo is right on the square across from the 7-11 right in the middle of the gay section of town. The guys are plentiful and most go for the usual rate of about 500 - 750 MXN if you are willing to bargain. I was in GDL for 9 days and had 8 guys in total. It would have been 9 for 9 but my arrangement bailed on the Sunday morning I was suppose to leave, which is why it's usually better to pay if you are time constrained GDL is a beautiful more middle class city then CDMX but the hungry guys are there. It is highly recommended for a laid back vacation with sightseeing and some great sex thrown in. P.S. I would like to thank @bobbalino for the Compagnie XY recommendation. Where i am in mexico it is $25 and that's all night! Saturday night my friend and i invited two guys over off of grindr and they got to the house about 7:00 and left the next morning at 7:30. Of course there are guys who will ask for more or offer less time but most will be happy with 500 MXN and a good evening. However, some will hold firm and it is up to you to decide if it's worth the extra pesos. Still, remember that this is Mexico not Colombia or Brazil. The hot guys exist, you usually have to put a bit more work into finding them; unless you're tomcal and they just show up at your door begging for papi This works out well for me as Mexico is closer and I am fairly proficient with the apps. I should have tried the Renacer Day Spa just so that I could give a report here about the quality of guys, prices and procedures. Hopefully, someone can rectify my mistake. Another place that kept on being mentioned as a spot where locals go to pick up street meat and "anything else you could want" was Parque Morelos. Unfortunately, the action there takes place at night and, as is usually the case with this kind of activity, is considered seedy and dangerous. Luckily, I don't have vices for the explicit "rough trade", the middle class irregulars from the apps usually work out just fine for me. P.S. In my first post I saw the kid on the bike while traveling to a tour group by Uber. We definitely eyed each other up at that traffic light and he even opened his legs to give me a better view of the merchandise that was on hand. However, I've never been asked for 2000 pesos, the most I've been quoted was 1500 in Mexico City for a really hot model on Grindr. I got cold feet because I hate hiring from photos, my very small and very pricey boutique hotel (that was not very good planning on my part, long story) was not going to work and the guy proposed a regular hotel he sometimes recommends to which I would need to cab and pay for the room. Cost not an impediment when horny IF I know for sure the guy is a good fit, but I need to see in person. Did not get laid there, scouting apps, ads, spas. I wonder if Mexico deals are more driven by visitors, and Brazil arrangements by a stonger tradition of local clientele balancing out sex tourism. floridarob Posted October 17, 2018 Share Posted October 17, 2018 Be careful of the police, I've visited/lived in Mexico for nearly 30 yrs and have had issues with the police, but none like in GDL.....by far the most direct/corrupt I've ever encountered.
