That depends on whether he likes Thai or Chinese style chicken and cashew nuts. I prefer the Thai version as it has a lot more ingredients such as red onion, fresh chilli, spring onion and the all-important dried chilli, all of which give it that extra zing, whereas Chinese style chicken and cashew nuts only has cashews and green capsicum in it, cooked in a rather bland brothy sauce and the cashews are less crunchy as a result. My mum and sis make the Thai version. The top pic is of Thai style chicken and cashew nuts and the bottom pic is of the Chinese version. I realise that there may be regional variations to the Chinese one.

The standard and most common way for writing the word cat is แมว but แหมว as written above is onomatopoeic which is used in catspeak and kiddytalk. The use of เจ้า which is common with females from the north or when wanting to sound affectionate or maternal is another indicator. I baby talk my cats, but address the oldest who's 25 as grandma and speak to her quite deferentially. 😅😸

This is a very cavalier statement to make. Perhaps not afraid, but one certainly needs to be careful and vigilant especially as one gets older (and/or have been drinking) and one's reflexes may not be as quick as they used to be. You need to be careful not only when walking on quiet streets at night but also in crowded places such as clubs and markets, even more so as you don't understand the language, can't intuitively pick up the nuances of what's happening around you and your social circle is comprised of people who aren't exactly law abiding or known for their scruples.
