  1. I remember Babe when he was still working as a topless waiter at a Thai style pub. The short, fresh faced attractive lad from Chiang Rai. He still had his original nose, forehead, cheekbones and jawline then. Gosh, it must be ten years ago now. Time flies.
  2. Why not? Because he allegedly has a job in a bank? The only difference is that you would have paid him by the month, not by the day. Alternatively, I'm sure he would have agreed to a weekly stipend too.
  3. Yup. I believe it's called throwing a sprat to catch a mackerel. A very old fishing tactic.

Amen to that! I recommended Puy above mainly because she has a strong social media presence and is easy to locate but I think there is a string of roti carts all along the very long Silom Road and all over Bangkok really and quite a few are operated by Rohingya refugees.
  5. JPN? 😏

Do you mean banana roti? I recommend Puy Roti Lady at https://share.google/5qE8OBbF97kl0xpEu She's quite famous and has done well for herself. She's currently building a new house back in her hometown. Her roti is unique in that it's flavoured with pandan which makes it fragrant and gives it a slightly green tinge. I like roti with egg and banana; the egg softens the roti on the inside and makes it crispy on the outside.
  7. https://youtube.com/shorts/kzBtyKHaIJY?si=C_1KkIbtpXngvAea I just love this guy and have been following him for the last couple of years. Really excited that he's coming to Malaysia next year.
  8. No, he's suggesting that they were all conceived by the Holy Spirit. Have you forgotten what day this is?
  9. Perhaps your guy had taken up karate and was having breakfast with his sensei. What's wrong with that? 🤷
  10. Poor Bruce Willis but at least he's still with us and has the resources for his medical care. Many others don't. Love the way Demi and his family have stood by him. RIP Alan Rickman.
  11. I meant that I last used the Bolt app in February 2025. I've been making plans to go away in February 2026 and maybe that's why I typed 2026. Thanks for pointing it out.
  12. Wishing all friends and forum members who are celebrating a happy Christmas! May your holidays and the New Year be blessed and bring you much joy. 🎄🎊💝
  13. Thanks for the heads up. The "send a photo" feature wasn't available when I last used the app in February 2026, as I mentioned in my post. I had also confirmed this with the driver at the time. This is a welcome development.
  14. Now, now, no need to be modest - in the staff's eyes you probably looked like Halle Berry emerging from the water in Die Another Day. 😉
  15. You don't know? He's already there as the Ghost of Christmas Present, whispering in everyone's ear not to be "scroogy".
  16. But you stayed in it because the seamen kept you awake and feeling energised!
  17. That's very early. Were you the discipline mistress or in some other supervisory position? At what time did school start proper? And is it the same throughout the US or unique to your state and/or the type of school (state vs private, religious school, etc)? I was a day scholar and a night owl until I left for the UK at 16 for my Sixth Form. Boarding school was rigid and stressful in some ways but a lot of fun in other ways. Since then I've always been a day person and am in bed by 10.30 most nights.
  18. Victory Church Krungthep. A place of worship and fellowhip in the City of Angels for gay men, some of whom knew Jesus personally.
  19. And most pertinent to yourselves, I suspect.
  20. Spoken like a true fake stamp collector!
  21. Including the fake love? 😏
  22. Did you know that Michael Furmston died of a heart attack in Kuala Lumpur in 2020? He was teaching at a private university here. He was 87. RIP. Cheshire, Fifoot and Furmston...hahaha although I preferred Anson's - much easier read!
  23. 28 lectures a week? You guys sure studied a lot back then. Did you ever have Treitel for contracts?
  24. He'd look much better if he kept his hair short and wore clothes that were more age appropriate. Go for the distinguished older gentleman look like Pierce Brosnan, for instance. Fabio's 66 and trying to cling on to a look that suited him 30 years ago only ages him, in my humble opinion. Moreover, having sharp, chiselled features and a square jaw may look good on a man when he's younger but they don't tend to age well for eg the late Robert Redford (may he rest in peace). The march of time tend to be kinder on people with softer features.
  25. You mean like how you last saw them at Jomtien Complex? 🤔
