I find it bizarre that you seem to believe that the fact that a lot of people collect these images means they're appropriate for any forum, or that they're in any measure in good taste. Obviously, there's a market for that. But do you really think it's a good idea to have images such as those on your hard drive?

October 23, 20241 yr A case was decided today in England, where a man, Hugh Nelson, was convicted for producing indecent images of children, using AI. The report wasn't detailed, but it looks as if the main focus of the images was detailed sexual abuse of children, rather than just indecent images, but he pleaded guilty to a number of charges. He was involved in sending the images to others. Likely to go to prison. It looks as if there was discussion of his using actual indecent images of children to produce the AI images. There is likely to be a more detailed report shortly.

He pleased guilty to various charges, not just obscene images of children, but more serious offences, encouraging child rape etc. The Court pointed out that creating indecent images of children, whether real, or generated by AI, was a criminal offence.
