Just a little update.  Made it to Japan.  It’s about 9am and my checkin isn’t until 2pm.  I’m staying at a Hyatt about 30 minutes walk from King of College.  My plan is to go there once i get settled.  I need to decide where i am going to stay after this first night.  I’m intrigued by the idea of basically renting a room and a boy for 24 hours from one of these boy brothel agencies.  I likely won’t do that because spending maybe $300 on one night seems a bit much, especially if the guy and i end up not being compatible.

Since I was the original poster, I shall provide update on my trip next week.

I persuaded my guy to go to Pattaya with me for 2 nights. So I will off him from Freshboys for overnight then the next day we will go to Pattaya. Already informed Pattaya forum member @bkkmfj2648. Can't wait to meet him and I am looking forward to volleyball! My guy used to play volleyball in high school back in Vietnam and from the way he describes himself, he is a good player. I know first hand he is good at pool (one of the best pool players in Soi Patpong 2) and chess. Now I get to see his third talent in action!

As this is my first time to Pattaya, can any forum members recommend taxi service from Bangkok to Pattaya? I am looking for a comfortable ride for two persons.

I've used them for ever... 1200 baht from Bangkok city to pattaya, 1000 baht from BKK airport, never had an issue.

Yes I think so.  I’d actually wanna go out and do something that they’d find fun too assuming it wasn’t super expensive. If one suggested Mario Kart i would be overjoyed because i’m pretty good at it. But first night i’ll just go to King Of College and get instructed on how their system works.  If i don’t end up choosing someone there it would only cost me 1700 yen.  Hopefully i’m getting the details right from what i’ve read on here or elsewhere.

Will do.  Hopefully they let me in.  They open at 4pm.  Time for a power nap so I don’t fizzle out.  I feel like the night may go late with a lot of drinking.  I’m not bothering contacting or going to any shops that don’t have at least an English language section on their website.  It seems that if they go to the trouble to make an English site, that they want English speaking customers.
 I’m also interested in Danshi Gakuen, Chance Osaka, Tokyo Kids, and Heros Tokyo.  I doubt i’ll get to all of them but they all look like potential options.

 

I think there is some conflicting information regarding the opening hours.  After using Translate on the website I see that none of the available guys for today get there before 8pm.  I sent koc1977 a message on Line asking for clarification but have not received a response.  When I click the account it says opens at 18:00pm so i assume that means 6pm or maybe they don’t respond to messages until then.  
 

Luckily the Danshi Gakuen shop is only 7 minutes walk from KOC.  So i will go wander that area and try my luck.

Sounds like you're hoping for company. Some gay bars may have English speaking bar tenders but it would be rare to find an escort boy able to manage more than three words.

Also, it would be more helpful to others who come after you to put all your Tokyo adventures in the Japan forum, not this Bangkok thread.

That makes sense.  I’ll post a new thread over there soon.  Just booked a stud from Danshi Gakuen for 12 hours overnight so i shall be occupied.  My next post pertaining to Japan will be in the Japan forum.

I managed to book taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya and back through Nam Lady Taxi Drivers.

Not cheap. Including toll, each trip is 1600 baht. But I am confident it will be a safe journey. And I have a feeling that my guy prefers to chat with a lady driver.

Staying at family owned Rabbit Resort at Dongtan Beach. Recommended by a friend. A bit pricey compared to other hotels in Jomtien but I like the resort vibes. It's a place where I can stay inside throughout holiday.

But of course I will go to Jomtien to see and experience Pattaya gay life.

And looking forward to volleyball!

When you exit the Rabbit Resort grounds onto Dongtan Beach - you are immediately in front of the gay beach - right smack in the middle = excellent location.

To your right (walking north) are the Dongtan gay volleyball sand courts - perhaps a 5 minute walk.  To your left (walking south) is the Supertown in the Jomtien Complex - perhaps a 10 minute walk.

Regarding the taxi services - I have noticed that their pricing is MORE expensive when they need to enter into the middle of the Bangkok traffic jungle (like Silom).  Whereas, the price to Pattaya from Suvarnabhumi airport is cheaper - because with the super highway out to the coast where Pattaya is they can avoid the Bangkok traffic nightmare....

Seems like I got the right location to stay in! Looking forward to Pattaya in a week's time!

You should try the bus next time! Much more cost-effective.

Yes, amazingly cheap at 143 baht one way.  If you have time to kill - then it is a good alternative.  I only learned about this bus from Vinapu during my boot camp training last year.

It departs from the Suvarnabhumi airport and brings you directly to Jomtien where the big FoodMart supermarket is - about a 7 minute walk to the Jomtien Complex (aka Supertown).

Coming to Pattaya for volleyball sounds extravagant but for sake of world peace lets assume we believe you.

1600 is on higher side , even from Silom but not extravagantly so.

sure , it's much easier to hold his hand or place your on his knee in the car than  crowded bus. Ichigo is right, bus is much more cost effective and quite fun

It's worth pointing out that long-distance bus travel in LoS is not like some of the neighbouring countries where buses depart only when (over)full and you have to sit on someone's knee. In Thailand you get a numbered seat (and mamasan gets very cross if you try to sit anywhere else 😲) and they depart more or less at the scheduled time.

As for "quite fun" the internet yields many images showing all kinds of fun activities on a bus 😉

Totally agree. Over a good many years I have stayed there 5 times. It feels much more like being in a small country haven than in a city resort. Personally I prefer the upper rooms to those at ground level. The restaurant is also very good. Mrs. Rabbit is very gay friendly and goes out of her way to assist guests.
