Hey, been reading the forum for a while now, so much that I feel like I've already been to Thailand. However - I haven't. I am planning my first trip (thinking late march-April). I'm really struggling with picking hotels, even after reading and researching - the reason being I'm kinda picky with hotels (I travel ALOT for work) I need hotels that are at least Marriot / Hilton level, but also ones that won't be a problem to bring boys back to. Also, obviously the closest to the action. I don't mind paying $150-$250 a night... So... any recommendations for Bangkok / Pattaya that fit the description? Thanks!

Thai airways didn't let me down as the plane from Perth was late (as always it seems) but the crew, service, food and entertainment were all very good. I will try to do an update every three days or so as I am taking my time and won’t have much to add on a daily basis.
