Inside there were about 10 guys with no junk out. Unusual but it stayed that way for the 90 minutes I was there. The owner doesn’t want the guys going up to customers for tips. I was in Doubleshot in Jomtien this morning at 04.01 and taking a pee before leaving. As I left the toilet I passed about 10 personnel in uniform who were entering the bar. My ladyboy friend urged me to leave immediately, which I was going to do anyway. As tonight was the first night of legitimate opening until 04.00 ( which is why we were still there)this was obviously planned. Be interesting to see what happens.

Starting from today, the Thai government officially allows entertainment venues in Bangkok, Phuket, Chon Buri, Chiang Mai, Surat Thani’s Ko Samui, as well as in legally-registered hotels nationwide to extend opening hours until 4 am. The last time I was in TH I used UBER quite often (also for longer distances like BKK-> Pattaya). But Uber left TH (I heard some rumors why, but still not sure about that).
