This evening, July 26, was the latest Pattaya Gay Festival (PGF) dinner at Richard Burk's Amor Restaurant. The restaurant was packed and everyone had a wonderful time. Jim Lumsden did a magnificent job as MC, and he was delightfully entertaining as always. Richard's menu was just delicious. Everything was truly superb. I especially enjoyed the Salmon Rillettes and the Chicken Breast with Herbed Cheeses. After dinner there were great raffle prizes, including bottles of premium wines and liquors, dinners at fine restaurants, a luxury holiday in Phuket, and much more. I am planning on travelling to Pattaya in late August and I am thinking of staying in Pattaya Center Hotel. Can anyone please tell me if this hotel is guest friendly or not? Also, any helpful comments about the hotel rooms, bathrooms, atmosphere, etc. Thank you.

Right on schedule, the new SPICE! gay mag was distributed last nite in Sunee.. I found it interesting that the Thai boys and ladyboys were just as interesting in the new issue as the farangs..The cute coverboy probably helps and the mag gets better with every issue.. Around the time of the police running thru Sunee with weapons in hand, a very rotund short farang was leading a small herd of 8 or more boys from Kaos and Sundance, I think, from bar to bar.. I have seen him before drunk as a skunk and throwing glasses at people and breaking every glass he could in the streets..Apparently, he spends like a drunken sailor and the bars put up with his antics, but he is a sight.. Last nite in Sunee Plaza, Pattaya, while having a drink in a beer bar, there was a commotion in the streets.. Several uniformed policemen carrying guns in their hands and one with a rifle, were running after a couple of very young street boys..I saw several in handcuffs later and it was raid.. I don't believe it was a raid on a bar but rather a raid on the street kids and maybe it was to break up a gang or enforce a curfew but it is all speculation.. Still, a little heavy, seeing drawn guns and rifles on uniformed police and a bit scary.. Some of you may notice that many of the photos have been deleted from the site. We have been trying hard to get the site ban lifted. We spoke recently to the people in charge and they said that if the inappropriate photos were removed, that the ban would be lifted. CHIANG MAI, July 13 (TNA) A minor earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Ritcher Scale was reported in Thailand's northern resort province of Chiang Mai Thursday morning, but there have been no reports of any damage or casualties. The quake hit Chiang Mai's Hang Dong District at 07:28 a.m., according to the Meteorological Department. The epicentre of the northern quake has yet been indicated.
