Via Express UK: Cooped up together for 500 miles were three of the world’s biggest and most charismatic stars – Dame Elizabeth Taylor, Marlon Brando and Michael Jackson. The trio are said to have embarked on their journey to flee New York in a hire car the day after the 9/11 terror attack. Fearing a follow-up attack, the trio first sought refuge in New Jersey, according to one of Jackson’s former personal assistants. From there they undertook a 500-mile odyssey across America – with Brando and Jackson behind the wheel and stopping only to fuel up on Burger King and KFC takeaways – until they fi…

  6. Could a New 'Viagra Condom' Encourage Safer Sex? By MEREDITH MELNICK – Mon May 9, 9:55 am ET The problem with condoms is that they don't get used as often as they should. But an innovative new product by a British biotech firm may change men's minds: called CSD500, the condom helps men keep their erection longer. It's been dubbed the "Viagra condom," but that's not entirely accurate. The new product is lined with a vasodilating gel, which increases blood flow to the penis and helps maintain erection. But unlike the pill, it's not designed for men who have erectile dysfunction; rather, it's meant for men who have trouble keeping erections specifically while using a c…

About three studley young Realtosr in Malibu & LA, Any comments on the 3 guys" I like Madison the self proclaimed gay, although I get the impression they would all do a roll-in-th-hay to clinch a deal. Their commission is 2 1'2% of the selling price and when a home sells for multi millions, their pay checks are not chicken feed. And not once do they suggest they take a lower commission to make a deal fly.. What do you think of them?

Here is the word for this week: purlieu \PUR-loo\, noun: 1. A place where one may range at large; confines or bounds. 2. A person's haunt or resort. 3. An outlying district or region, as of a town or city. 4. A piece of land on the edge of a forest, originally land that, after having been included in a royal forest, was restored to private ownership, though still subject, in some respects, to the operation of the forest laws. "A purlieu is an area at the edge of a royal forest that used to be under forest law but isn't any more." -- Edward Rutherfurd, The Forest "She thought of the strange operation of a simple-minded man's ruling passion, that it should have led …

  11. Ben Cohen is a world-class English rugby star, and Hudson Taylor is a three-time college all-American wrestler. They live on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean. They barely know each other. But they have something quite unusual in common. They may be the only two high-profile heterosexual athletes dedicating their lives to the issues of bullying and homophobia in sports. The question that each one frequently gets — besides “Are you gay?” — is why are they involved in something that does not directly impact them, or so it would seem. That is just the point, they said. In much the same way that the hockey player Sean Avery’s recent endorsement of gay marriage resonated…

It's amazing what people can do! I will be there. Is anyone going to be there on June 27 in DC. A 16-year-old from the Toronto area used a supercomputer system to find a new drug combination that shows potential in treating the genetic disorder cystic fibrosis, and won top honors for his work. Marshall Zhang, an 11th-grade student at Richmond Hill's Bayview Secondary School, received first place Tuesday (May 10) in the 2011 Sanofi-Aventis BioTalent Challenge, a contest in which students conduct their own research projects with the help of mentors. Cystic fibrosis is a potentially fatal condition caused by a genetic mutation, or error. It causes thick, sticky mucus to b…

Bravo Sir Ian McKellan! Britain’s theatrical knight, best known worldwide perhaps for his role as Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is now in the third month of a UK nationwide “role model” tour of secondary schools (basically ages 11 – 18). It is all part of the Education for All campaign launched in 2005 by Stonewall, a UK gay rights charity co-founded in 1989 by Sir Ian, the year after he came out, to help tackle homophobia and homophobic bullying in primary and secondary schools. This is an exceprt from a description in The Guardian by a Stonewall staffer who accompanies McKellen on the tours. http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2011/apr/12/…

  14. Ok. So, TMZ has learned that an "A-List Internationally Known Hollywood Star" has been sued for giving a dude herpes after talking the plaintiff into unprotected intercourse. The person in question has a sex tape of themselves with the star - which gay bug chasing sites are bidding on, so its not a hetero tape. Who do you think it is? I hope I set up the poll right. http://www.tmz.com/2011/05/11/a-list-male-celebrity-herpes-sex-tape-youporn-lawsuit-las-vegas-100-million-net-worth-contracted-unprotected-sex/

The IPad 2 is in stock but selling out very fast at the IStudios in Bangkok. They said they would get another shipment in tomorrow. My friend was just there and he wants the 3G but they were all gone. They did have some wifi only left in stock. For those of you waiting for these at regular prices (not MBK markup prices) they are now here. By the time you get the VAT refund, it may be the same or a bit cheaper than in USA.

The Economist has a god piece about "The Normal Heart" coming to Broadway. I also just read a piece about he and Streisand having a falling out about the film rights. WHOEVER thought you could die just from having sex? Surely only the God of the Old Testament would imagine a plague that smites gay men just as they are starting to enjoy themselves. But in New York in the early 1980s a mysterious illness was suddenly ravaging these men. People would literally “cough, go home and then die in two weeks,” says a former employee of the downtown Public Theatre at the time. “It was horrifying.” It was the Public that first staged “The Normal Heart”, Larry Kramer’s ragin…

It's not clear, for instance, whether gay men were more likely to develop cancer than straight men, whether they were more likely to be diagnosed, or whether they more likely to survive and report it." The reporter must have a need to do this thing. Does anyone work at Time? Do they get paid more if people click more on their article?
