  3. The pardon was issued only after the required investigation of the Board of Probation and Parole. Justice delayed is justice denied. He should never have gone to trial. Garrett Foster was an armed terrorist, not a protester. There’s a video clip of Foster saying he was there that night to start a confrontation with someone. Foster was looking for trouble and found it. When a person goes looking for trouble, he will generally find it in short order. Thank you Gov. Abbott. A message to the dirty unkept dems. Do not wave around an ”assault rifle” and expect the public to cower at your feet. You point. Texans shoot. This was clearly self defense from the beginning. Radical DA's need to be voted out. The hateful and violent leftist DA must not only be fired, but disbarred and criminally charged. It is an act of criminal violence to throw an innocent man in prison. Austin, TX. a leftist liberal sh_thole that as I recall either fired or half of its police force resigned because of just this kind of stupid crap. Gov Abbott needs to extend "Stand Your Ground" to insulate from prosecution all armed Texans who defend our border, state and country by taking out illegal invaders as they emerge from the Rio Grande.
  4. Indeed! There are also great options in Laureles. And in my experience, in Colombia you will always pay tourists price for good food. I am not very fond of the local cuisine, although I embrace it as part of the experience.
  5. Another picture of Eric - money boy from Madagascar . One of a group resident in Pattaya on student visas.
  6. Since they rarely respect trademarks....could it be KFC Sun or some reiteration of that?
  7. Yesterday's observations. Screwboys now is GoodBoys but according to mamasan that is only change made. Hot Male beer bar street level at 8 .30 more staff than customers. Went to Jupiter with another member at 10.15. Singer was singing trying to.m outscream himself. What waste of talent. After 30.mi uses I was ready to leave but mercifully walkabout started. Lots of new faces, more than half never seen before which I take as good sign. Tipped most deserving for looks in my eyes hoping for some vague smile or at least an eye contact but ot to avail. So one sarcastic may say "all normal ". Had he smiled off would be in the books as I freshly exchanged money. As consolation boy I offed in July last year while sitting with another client , recognized me, smiled and came to shake hands . Made my visit there and restored himself on the "Good guys from Jupiter " list. We were only two farang in audience. At one point I counted 8 guys sitting with customers but only one of them with man. I was hoping to spot three guys but none of them in the roster yesterday. Add to this 4 guys I was hoping to see in Pattaya in previous 2 days, who were also gone at least temporarily and warning comes to mind not to count on seeing guy we are dreaming about before our trip. Show bit more progressive than used to be with ot one but two rigid members presented unobstructively. Former New Twilight and then Queens Club is now @smiles , lesbian bar for tomboys according to handsome guy who emerged from the door. Banana Club packed for the show at midnight but only 3 farangs detected including undersigned humble nobody.
  8. Nope, that's master Yoda style 😉
  9. Confirming your findings from my walk at arround 8 pm. Two guys were already on duty on the corner. It seems , from my talk to them that they also have some hope for reopening but probability that it will be under new name was mentioned by one of them.
  10. Typically airlines don't hold luggage for more than 12 hours (reclaim rule), especially if it falls overnight...you'd need to collect it and then recheck before the next flight....
  11. So many good restaurant options in Poblado....granted, tourists prices....but I've had some amazing pizza, tacos and chicken parm than anywhere else I've been
  12. One more thing - do check whether you need a visa to enter Thailand. The airline may call it a layover, but if you want to get past immigration to go downtown, you'll still need a visa unless your country is visa-exempt.
  13. @pylonguy71 With careful prior research re transport options and locations, you may be able to squeeze in a massage at Arena and then book a boy from Moonlight during your layover. Given your preference for the more muscular types, these may be the least-bad options. I dare not say these are good options, because I don't know what you're expecting. The Asian body is not naturally thick like a European body, so it's much harder for an Asian to get as much mass as a European. What you may notice from this board is that (exceptions permitting) the twink lovers generally prefer Thailand and the muscle worshippers have a bias towards Brazil. @DenverDude is probably right about your luggage being tagged all the way to your final destination, so make sure you have what you need for the 16 hours in Bangkok in your carry-on. Although it may sound like a crazy idea to some others, I have done something similar before, during a 13- or 14-hour layover in Amsterdam, though it was a single cum, not twice. So it can be done. But then, I already knew the layout of the city from previous visits (making navigation much easier) whereas you're saying you've never been to Bangkok before. Arena Massage largely closes by about 9pm. I once made the mistake of getting there around 8pm and there weren't many boys left. But if your flight lands at 3pm, you may be able to make it there by 6pm which I think is their peak hour. This can be followed by a bit of dinner and then off to Moonlight for the show at 10:30pm. Get a boy by 11:30 or 12 midnight and use the short-time rooms at Suriwongse Hotel next door. Leave for the airport around 4am, perhaps? However, I don't think the short-time rooms are available for more than 1 or 2 hours, so it may be better to get a regular room in Suriwongse. It's going to be basic, but probably good enough for a few hours. Alternatively, the Raya Hotel almost across the street from Moonlight (it only has regular rooms, not short-time rooms). To make this work, you will need to understand the locations well, the transport system and have enough cash. It's a little worrying that you're not asking these logistical questions.
  14. From the Thaiger A Thai man’s family and friends in the Isaan province of Chaiyaphum accused his boyfriend of killing him and staging a car accident to cover up the murder. Local news Facebook page Esor News 3 reported yesterday that a 25 year old Thai man named Mark mysteriously died on Tuesday, May 14, while returning home from his birthday party at a nightclub in the Isaan province of Chaiyaphum. According to Esor News 3, Mark’s boyfriend, who was with him at the time, claimed that Mark opened the car door and jumped out while they were playfully teasing each other. He said Mark rolled along the road for about 500 meters and lost consciousness. “Mark opened the car door and jumped off when we were teasing each other. The car was still moving at that time. We did not argue or fight each other before that. It happened in Chaiyaphum. “After falling out of the car, Mark rolled along the road for 500 metres. I parked the car and went to check why he decided to jump out. This is the true story but don’t share it with others, OK? There’s nothing. Don’t worry.” Mark’s friends and family found it suspicious that the boyfriend did not want the story shared. They pointed out that the boyfriend did not seem to be sad about his loss. He did not even cry when recounting the story. Moreover, they questioned how someone could simply jump out of a moving car without a prior issue. The rescue team also found the circumstances of Mark’s death suspicious, as he did not have any bruises, wounds, or scratches despite falling out of the car and rolling on the road. His clothes were also too clean for such an accident. The autopsy revealed that Mark’s skull was fractured, his internal organs were bruised, and he suffered internal bleeding in his head. The media reported that Mark’s boyfriend urged the family to cremate Mark’s body quickly and threatened to sue them for accusing him of murder. 15. From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon Newly added to the range of longstay visas comes the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) option for foreign investors in three eastern provinces which include Chonburi. The EEC visa, which allows multiple entries, offers automatic work permit procedures for targeted industries, and a discounted rate of 17 percent income tax for specialists, executives, professionals and (if necessary) dependants. The EEC visa duration is actually linked to the life of the holder’s work permit and is considered an investor type. There is obviously overlap with LTR which, however, is not linked to certain provinces and is much broader covering wealthy retirees, digital nomads with contracts and world travellers as well as executives. The benefits are similar – reduced income tax, avoidance of 90 days reporting and airport perks – but the EEC visa is specifically linked geographically to investment in high-tech industries and sunrise initiatives such as robotics, petrochemical, healthcare, tourism and biotechnology. In recent years, Thailand has diversified its longstay visa regulations to encourage the overseas wealthy to make a base here. These include the Elite visa introduced in 2003, which has had a controversial history, the O/X 10 year visa for retirees from 2016 (not popular because of its bureaucracy) and the Long Term Residence started last year. The new EEC visa also illustrates the growing involvement of government agencies such as the Board of Investment, in addition to the immigration bureau, in the granting of longstay visas.
  16. Had a wonderful skilled massage and afters on Silom Soi 6 last night. The guys are mostly outside shops and very approachsble. You’ll find that a surprising number are conversational in English. Don’t hesitate to chat them up.
  17. Massage shop visit could easily be had for hour or so. The half-dozen shops on Silom Soi 6 guaranteed to have someone who’ll attract your attention. Patpong 2 has five gay bar options.
  18. I believe shop with rent/sale sign is former site of much missed Coffee Grinder.
  19. From experience, they are pretty common in Japanese and Korean hotels. Public restrooms will have a more basic version of it (i.e. minus the heated seat and other bells and whistles).
  20. I went past about 5 pm yesterday but saw no sign of any work being done inside. That said, while another shop about 2 - 3 doors away had a "For sale/rent" sign on its shutters, Tawan's unit didn't have that, so it's not (yet) for sale/rent? That might be a teeny weeny straw we can clutch on to for the time being.
  21. One more thing, if you are checking your bags, even with a 16 hour connection, they may be tagged through to the final destination. This was the case for me once on a 14 hour connection (that wasn't in BKK though). You might check with Thai Airways to see what their policy is, you may not need that luggage storage.
  22. Why don't you just book an inexpensive hotel? The Quarter Silom (right by the Tawan Bar location) is only like $50 a night. Then you would have a place to take your offs, not to mention be able to get cleaned up before you go back to the airport the next morning.

A friend of Perry's responded to him warning him of instigating protesters, stating, "We went through the same training ... Shooting after creating an event where you have to shoot, is not a good shoot." Perry had expressed his support for violence against protesters on at least three social media posts, suggesting in one post to "shoot center of mass" because "it is a bigger target", and in another stated, "Send [protesters] to Texas we will show them why we say you don’t mess with Texas." ... On April 13, 2023, a state district judge unsealed court records that revealed more anti-protester social media posts and racist messages made by Perry that the jury did not see or hear. Among these included Perry declaring "I am a racist," and comparing the Black Lives Matter movement to "monkeys" multiple times, and also as "animals at the zoo". He also stated in a text, "To [sic] bad we can't get paid for hunting Muslims in Europe." It was also revealed evidence obtained when Perry's phone was seized, where Perry searched on the Safari web browser "good chats to meet young girls on Kik", and had talked sexually with a 16-year-old girl on the app.
