  2. Even the Philippines is melting, travelled many times to the Philippines and never seen the temps so high and that have persisted for so long, at least in my favoured part it's still quite nice (up in the mountains in and around Baguio). Link below shows the 5 day highest heat index and it looks damn hot and to quote Robin Williams in Good Morning Vietnam "It's hot! Damn hot! Real hot! Hot as it is, is my shorts I can cook things in it, a little crotch-pot cookin". Philippine heat index

  4. For a first visit, stay in Chapigay. Everything is walking distance and all of the gay-ness is walking distance. There are also a few clubs and bars in Zona T immediately north of Chapinero. Yes, the buildings in the hills above Avenida 7 are considered a very desirable place to live with excellent restaurants and amenities. As for guests, this topic has been covered to death here. The vast majority of hotels will charge for overnight guests. Find out the fee in advance. Some exceptions to the rule have been shared here. If you want total access, it's Airbnb/VRBO for you and expect mandatory registration of all guests with the doorman/security. You may luck out on a building without that, but it is to your benefit as has been discussed previously. If you absolutely cannot abide either option, there are tons of love motels in the zona and multiple sauna options. FWIW When in Bogotá I stay either in upper Chapinero or in the Parque Virrey neighbourhoods. I also walk frequently alone at night because I know the city and the different barrios. For a first-time visitor, use Uber or Indriver and stay safe. Enjoy!

  5. With so many female customers, did the dancers perform more to the girls or equally to the guys? In the past I have noticed that the dancers seem to gravitate more to the females but expect the males to give them a tip. My thought: if they dance and perform for the girls, let the girls tip them. My tip money for nothing - no way José.

    Cartagena & Barranquilla

So we ended up going to Cartagena & Bogota for a few days. I'm very disappointed that I didn't end up going to Gabanna, a lot of the locals told me not to go, but it seemed like everyone was there during the weekend and someone invited me on Sunday, but by that time I was out & drunk already in the walled city. For this one spot alone I'm ready to go back to CTG, I don't necessarily need a plethora of places, I like off the beaten path. I also got invited to Avatar but never made it, didn't hear or see much about Gemini or Crazy Breeze if it still exists. Had a really great night at City Club, the one gay club in the central neighborhoods, it's really just a regular club, & very small, but made some friends, one off grindr, & we had a great night. Cartagena was difficult at first because most hotels & airbnbs are very guarded (literally, with door people) about visitors. Some of the guys have spots though. First few days were frustrating, but I finally found some hourly hotels in Getsemani. One wouldn't let me use it if it was with a chico instead of a chica, but the other one was fine & the woman working it was very accommodating. It was 30 pesos for the hour & I think 125 for the night. Even though I was in Bogota monday to wednesday, tuesday was basically a weekend night because of May Day, & the streets were crawling. We didn't go to Theatron though because someone mistakenly told me it would be open wednesday, but we had a great time at a salsa bar. I figured a lot of people would be off for the holiday, so that was the day I chose to hit up a sauna. I went to St. Moritze, & there must have been at least 50 guys there. 24 pesos I believe to get in. I don't know how much a massage is because I didn't. There were all ages, plenty of fine dudes, & at the same time it was both hot/sexy but also chill & not overly aggressive. Final conclusion...I need to go back to both places

  7. From Pattaya Mail At 79, Wichai Kaewintarathi earns a living by selling traditional musical instruments from northeastern Thailand, such as the khaen and pin along Jomtien Beach. Originally from Nakhon Phanom Province, Uncle Wichai has been in this profession for over 40 years. The musical instruments he sells are crafted by his wife, who is skilled in this art. He then showcases these instruments to tourists, presenting them as authentic northeastern musical instruments. Every morning Uncle Wichai sets up his stall at Jomtien Beach, where he remains until evening. In the evenings, he travels to South Pattaya on a song taew (baht-bus) to continue his sales, offering his items for prices ranging from one hundred to one thousand baht. Uncle Wichai’s sales technique involves not just selling but also performing. He entertains passersby by playing melodies on the khaen and showcasing various songs, adding vibrancy to the tourist scene. Through his efforts, he not only earns a livelihood but also promotes awareness of northeastern cultural music.

  8. Jupiter The entrance fee is THB 500. Unlike my previous trip in November last year, the bar had a sizeable number of female customers (some of whom were quite rowdy during the shows). The boys and shows were pretty much the same. I think I have a crush on the cute singer who would usually perform a few sets before the show starts. 😬 There was this young looking twunk customer at the bar that I took notice of because he kept changing seats. When the show was close to starting, a model just walked in wearing street clothes (presumably from a previous off). Upon seeing this model, the twunk almost jumped out of his seat to catch the nearest papasan, talking while pointing at the model. Not sure what was the discussion but the papasan was shaking his head a lot and the twunk went back to his seat. A little while after that, the twunk again went to talk to the same papasan and after some time, I saw the model went to join the twunk (who, at this point, was smiling ear to ear) at his seat. My assumption (which could be completely wrong) is that the model was initially not available but after some persuasion, the twunk was able to get the model. I was actually impressed by how assertive and persistent the twunk was but I also noticed the uncomfortable look on the model's face. I hope they ended up having a mutually enjoyable night.

  10. My first stop is in Bogota, today, just to see st moritz . Basically it works like a Brazilian sauna. Except the house want to sell massages for 60K and the boys seem to be going along with that instead of using the free room (they get a kick back, presumably). After that the boys are asking for 150k or 200K for sex in the room I found only one to be genuinely sexy, the others are ok, I would say yes for free but I wouldn’t pay 200K for them, given I’m gonna be in northern Brasil soon, I need to keep my libido as high as possible. One thing which surprises me is that I have to teach the boys to clean their hole. I like to lick there but I can’t do that before I take a shower with them, and clean them myself, they are just not ready, and don’t seem to know that is a thing. in Manaus tomorrow.
