Yes @Menaughty, Escortbuk has been discussed here on other forms.  Be aware that the prices are well above the going market rate for Colombia.  However, they market themselves as a premium service provider (zero hassles) and all of their escorts speak English if that is a important factor for you. When you request a "date" with one of their escorts, you will be provided with full details, including a face photo. Obviously targeted at the growing tourist market, their escorts will show up at the agreed time and know exactly what they are there to do.
If you are willing to pay for a no-hassle professional service, then Escortbuk is absolutely a good option.

    From CNN
Walking has earned a reputation as a great form of exercise that’s easy and accessible for many people, and scores of studies show the popular activity has numerous health benefits, too.
Getting at least 2,300 steps per day reduces your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease, according to one study published in a 2023 edition of the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
In addition, weight-bearing exercises such as walking help prevent osteoporosis, according to another study published in the journal Nature Scientific Reports.
Yet some experts in the health and fitness fields assert that while walking is certainly good for your health and fitness, it’s not really high-quality exercise. One such expert is Melissa Boyd, a certified personal trainer and coach with Tempo, an online personal training platform. Boyd is based in San Francisco.
“Our lives have gotten so busy — we commute, sit all day, then are exhausted at night — that getting a short walk in makes you feel like you’ve done this big, exponential thing,” Boyd said. “But walking is really a baseline movement your body requires to function well, to help with things like circulation and digestion, and to decompress.”
To help her clients better understand why a daily walk won’t result in a beach body — something many of them believe, thanks to various social media influencers — she discusses with them the three types of movement that are beneficial for overall health and fitness.
First is the movement your body is owed or requires every day, such as walking, stretching and bending. Second is athletic movement, which you can do a few times a week to improve your fitness or to train for a sport. Third is social movement that you do for fun or to connect with others, such as dancing or playing volleyball.
“It’s important to think of movement in these different categories because not moving throughout the day has become normalized,” Boyd said. “Our lives are so sedentary, many of us are trying to dig ourselves out of a movement deficit. But exercise is different from physical movement.”

I love guys from that area....my first time in Salvador, gawking at all the beautiful airport workers, I figured I had hit the mother load. But when looking in the saunas, only 1 or 2 stood out as ok and the rest nothing special....it seems all the "special ones" I was looking for, go to Rio and SP looking for work.
If you've never been there, definitely go for the sightseeing/touristy things.....maybe you'll find someone for fun too....you never know.

Yes, OK, but I like a bit of atmosphere.  In Bangkok,  the Golden Cock, for example, in its glory days, lots of boys, in various stages of undress, some sitting on sofa, cocks out, a farang getting a blow job at the bar!

My friend that was with me on this trip is a top...he found more available in Medellin. The food choices in Poblado, although not cheap were very good.

He's a Brasil fan and speaks Portuguese, had problems communicating with the guys, which was frustrating for him and the checking guys in at hotel reception, he felt embarrassed.....he's glad he went, I'm sure Brasil will remain his thing...he likes the convenience of the saunas.

you touched real issue here we rarely if at all think about. Both sides are taking unknown risk, we may be taking home an addict , thief  or short tempered weirdo.
They walk with us   and may think the same - is that guy an addict, thief or short tempered weirdo ?
things may bad  from both ends. Mercifully stories of things going bad are very rare  on both ends but they do happen, yes including clients stealing from boys, weird as it sounds.
In Pattaya there may be additional "attraction" , few more people in the room waiting and  hoping to take an advantage of girl or boy for one off fee and one tip.

I had a fair share of experiences from both ends. That's why we need to do "due diligence" when making decisions of who to off. This is a challenge in itself as my logic usually jumps out of the window during times like these 😂
Just thinking out loud - maybe the fizzling out maybe partly due to them being transferred from a familiar environment (bar) to an unknown one (your room). Nerves perhaps?
But I agree that most of it boils down to individual behaviour.

You can try saying you're in a long-distance relationship with someone in Brazil.  Boyfriend or girlfriend, take your pick.

Yes, I used to find that in Bangkok. not so much in Pattaya where the "walk" is a lot shorter if you're staying in the Boyztown area.
What was more concerning was the occasional guy whose good humour and affectionate disposition evaporated by the time we arrived in the hotel room.
Perhaps it was the result of getting a closer look at me!

So we ended up going to Cartagena & Bogota for a few days.
I'm very disappointed that I didn't end up going to Gabanna, a lot of the locals told me not to go, but it seemed like everyone was there during the weekend and someone invited me on Sunday, but by that time I was out & drunk already in the walled city. For this one spot alone I'm ready to go back to CTG, I don't necessarily need a plethora of places, I like off the beaten path. I also got invited to Avatar but never made it, didn't hear or see much about Gemini or Crazy Breeze if it still exists.
Had a really great night at City Club, the one gay club in the central neighborhoods, it's really just a regular club, & very small, but made some friends, one off grindr, & we had a great night. Cartagena was difficult at first because most hotels & airbnbs are very guarded (literally, with door people) about visitors. Some of the guys have spots though. First few days were frustrating, but I finally found some hourly hotels in Getsemani. One wouldn't let me use it if it was with a chico instead of a chica, but the other one was fine & the woman working it was very accommodating. It was 30 pesos for the hour & I think 125 for the night.
Even though I was in Bogota monday to wednesday, tuesday was basically a weekend night because of May Day, & the streets were crawling. We didn't go to Theatron though because someone mistakenly told me it would be open wednesday, but we had a great time at a salsa bar. I figured a lot of people would be off for the holiday, so that was the day I chose to hit up a sauna. I went to St. Moritze, & there must have been at least 50 guys there. 24 pesos I believe to get in. I don't know how much a massage is because I didn't. There were all ages, plenty of fine dudes, & at the same time it was both hot/sexy but also chill & not overly aggressive.
Final conclusion...I need to go back to both places

floridarob reacted to macdaddi in I can't figure out where to stay in Bogotá
For a first visit, stay in Chapigay. Everything is walking distance and all of the gay-ness is walking distance.  There are also a few clubs and bars in Zona T immediately north of Chapinero. Yes, the buildings in the hills above Avenida 7 are considered a very desirable place to live with excellent restaurants and amenities.  As for guests, this topic has been covered to death here. The vast majority of hotels will charge for overnight guests. Find out the fee in advance. Some exceptions to the rule have been shared here. If you want total access, it's Airbnb/VRBO for you and expect mandatory registration of all guests with the doorman/security. You may luck out on a building without that, but it is to your benefit as has been discussed previously.  If you absolutely cannot abide either option, there are tons of love motels in the zona and multiple sauna options.
FWIW When in Bogotá I stay either in upper Chapinero or in the Parque Virrey neighbourhoods.  I also walk frequently alone at night because I know the city and the different barrios. For a first-time visitor, use Uber or Indriver and stay safe.  Enjoy!

With so many female customers,  did the dancers perform more to the girls or equally to the guys?  In the past I have noticed that the dancers seem to gravitate more to the females but expect the males to give them a tip.  My thought: if they dance and perform for the girls, let the girls tip them.  My tip money for nothing - no way José.
