I think the most reliable way to get your Thai Pass on time is to apply at least 2 weeks before you need it.     In fact, since it is free to apply, why not apply as soon as you have the documents ?

e.g. There are many people that say the RT-PCR test needs to be taken within 72 hours of flight departure.  That is nonsense, as the rules say the results must be issued within 72 hours of departure, which is quite different.

And according to Richard Barrow's interview, there's no time limit for Thailand Pass which implies that you may apply as early as you want to ensure you have the pass document.

By the way it's a great news for me to learn that only the result needs to be issued within 72 hours of departure, do you know if anyone did research on this rule? My flight will be on a Monday which I worry taking the test on the previous Friday won't be early enough since most of the testing locations don't work on Weekend. If only the result is needed to be within 72 hours then I may take the RT-PCR test earlier.

    What`s the next best sauna?

Never heard of any famous sauna in Pattaya, but there are R3、Mania、39 Underground、Chakan in bangkok. While R3, Chakan still making promotions and 39/Mania more for the locals. They are all not doing really great during pandemic. You can find R3 sauna from twitter. The owner makes up all kind of activities all the time

As for massage places, even in January 2021 where massage places in Chonburi were supposed to be closed, many were still open.   Including some in direct line of sight of manned police boxes.

What about massage shops? They can be open?

I've checked my line account during the whole year and all I saw were owners of massage shops promoting and getting new boys. I don't think they've yet closed once this year (as long as they pay the local police well) and these are all in bangkok

  4. For the people who are worried about passing vaccination certificate as I did.

When I submitted my vaccination card I was prepared for it to get rejected and planning on having a signed international certificate to re-apply the Thailand Pass.

My application went in for 5 days since Nov 1st with no updates. And today (interestingly enough on a Sunday midnight) I just got approved.

They mentioned that you will need to show a QR code from thailand pass to enter, so i figure u should received this if your application is approved.

Appreciate the reply. But I’m aware of that, just wanted to check my application status in case if my application didn’t even go through so I shall submit again.
but then they gave me no info so I don’t know if I’m waiting for my result or actually nothing right now.

Obviously I have no personal need for it, but perhaps it works the same way the 90-day address report online works.  With that app they don't send anything.  You have to go back to the app and there will then be an icon to click on that takes you to the page that has your verification.  Then you print out that page.

Well there's no account page or anything, once "submitted" it goes to the Thailand Pass main page so you have 0 accessibility to the previous application you've just done. So I can't check status or even know if I've actually sent things through. It's like I just refreshed the page and everything goes back to the beginning expect they did say they will send email if you pass, but nothing else.

  7. Does anyone know if you'd get a email notifying that you've successfully submitted your Thailand Pass application?

For me, after I finished uploading all info, it told me that I will get a confirmation email if I got verified but I didn't get an auto email telling me that I've actually submitted everything successfully. It just feels odd that an official site doesn't send something to let you know or ensure that you've done your part.

  8. My question is as stated in the title. I've booked a flight that will arrive in bangkok at 11:45pm at night. I assume I won't be able to pass all immigration stuff within an hour or so.

And I'll have to check out my one night "quarantine free room" at noon the other day. I'm generally curious about how long does PCR tests take in general since I read online they could take hours if not a day to complete, and I'll have less than 10 hours after I actually arrive at my hotel and start my testing process.

When trying to search for SHA+ hotels, all i get is phuket sandbox hotels. For bangkok, its ASQ. What website we can use to browse the list of hotels for this?

At this point i'm just confused why don't I go with the second "sandbox" scheme since the provinces have expanded to include bangkok and such. Then I don't even need to stay in hotel room for the first night.

I think most boys would not be able to do a proper lap dance except for the dancers and performers. So you’ll have a higher chance of getting a blow job then a lap dance. But indeed, anything can be arranged with the right boy. Look for the most hype boy on stage, they’ll probably do it.

    Ask any waiter at Freshboys.

They seem to know what everyone does.....including the punters.

That's what I thought. Since many of the strip clubs in western country have lap dance strippers. And I've never seen a private room in bangkok's bars. It would be so much fun to have some lap dances before offing boys out.

The answer to the first question (has anyone had  HE there) is a yes. The answer to the second question (do they even do that) is a clear "it depends".

In my experience, the general rule at Prime is that HE is NOT happening. But as "general rules" go, there are exceptions and it very much depends on the individual masseur and presumably his mood in that particular moment, how he perceives the given customers body (attractive, acceptable, unattractive, or whatever), maybe his need for extra tip that day, and not to forget the constellation of the stars. I've had many many massages there where nothing happened or was even hinted at. Including raging hard-on's being flatly ignored. Then again in the rarer instances they'd just proceed to take care of said hard-on, or asked about it.
I had a regular there (who unfortunately left about a year ago), who I booked for his (for me) outstanding massages. First several sessions, hard-on's went ignored. Then one day all of a sudden he gave a HE. But even then that didn't become the rule with him.

On the other hand, I had another regular there (sadly also left) who gave the most sensual and erotic massage ever, including a superb super skilled HJ. And that happened every time I booked him (which I did when I wanted that, as opposed to just a good massage which is my main and usually only reason to go to Prime).

So bottom line is: it clearly depends.

That's what I figured. I wish I can find one particular masseur that I like but I haven't found one that fits my style yet.

I've made several visits to Prime over the years and as far as I can recall every visit ended with creamed dessert though I don't recall any instance of going beyond helping hands. Maybe I was just lucky, or maybe that was in the past. I haven't been there for over a year now; perhaps the newer crew aren't keen on providing such services. My interest in Prime has dimmed somewhat. Their popularity and the number of customers they get has made the whole atmosphere sort of like a conveyor belt.

Oh well, unlucky me. It never happened to me and I've been there multiple times already. haha

  13. I'm wondering if anyone had a happy ending at the prime massage. I've heard some people said they had experienced that the masseurs asked them if they wanted it or not. I had been there many times but never had that happen to me. Do their masseurs even do that?

I forget , have you been to Bali?

BKK is good, but knowing the Brasil scene and cost of living...it's mind blowing how some of the boys charge what they do (as well as drink prices, but you're not a drinker)....

Then there's always the AMAZING food in Thailand and good massages, that has been my draw recently along with long flights to maintain status with the airlines.

Just curious about how much do they charge in Brazil? Cheap and fun?
