As you may know, Eagle bars are present in Many cities worldwide, mainly in North America.
There is also one in Sao Paulo. I discovered it during my last trip. It is basically a large bar with a stage and an even larger backŕoom. In the backroom, there is a pitch dark darkroom with lot of action. Far too dark for me ! Impossible to see any action. Even moving is difficult since there is absolutely no light ....
Most of patrons are daddies, Tom of Finland types, aged between 30 and 60.
The day I went there, there were 2 interactive boys whom I considered sexy (the same who will be performing this coming saturday). I was wondering how interactive they were ... They were quite a lot, even proactive, inviting customers to come and cuddle, kiss or suck them or even sucking customers on the stage. Great experience that day thanks to the sex appeal of the interactive boys. Most of the time, though, their models are not appealing to me.
Might be worth a repeat in the future.

I attended also the desfilé dos Campioes last saturday. You can go to all sectors of Sambodromo using metro. Even number sectors can be reached from Praça Onze, odd number sectors from Central, but in this case it is a much longer and a much more difficult to find walk. You can buy all types of drinks at Sambodromo but it is a rip off. Ice creams were available at 20 BRL ! (normally it is less than 10 BRL). That day, one carro allegorico of Imperatriz broke down and could not move, impeding all carros of Champion Viradouro to enter the Sambodromo. The whole desfilé was delayed, some carros were not shown and the order of entry of carros was modified. Viradouro carros started enter the Sambodromo around 6.30 am. The sun was already shining and the fireworks were just smoke and the light effects of carros could not be seen. But it was a great moment ... for those who can seat on a concrete bench during 11 hours (from 8 pm to 7 am).
The whole process was delayed : insted of entering between 03 am and 03.50 am, Viradouro entered after 6 am !
Many people had left or were sleeping.
Any reader here can explain the numbers seen on one carro ? 22 is easy to understand, with help of internet, 80 also but 32 ?

Yesterday, a friend of mine, a regular in Pointe, was charged 2 bottles of whisky for 900 BRL. He did not drink any whisky ... the barman came and accepted that it was maybe an error ... then my friend realized that he had been charged for 3 rooms when he actually only used 2 ... the barman was still at reception when my own bill appeared on the screen and he said : "I forgot the Heineken you had !" I made fun of him asking him how he could remember what the various customers had drunk and claimed that I did not drink any beer. They accepted to remove the item. Last time I went there, they tried to charge me a room on a free cabin night since I had spend 3 minutes more in the room ie 33 minutes instead of 30 minutes.
One boy mentionned to me yesterday that he recently left the place with a customer who was drunk and the customer was overcharged by ... 1000 BRL.
So, check your bill in Pointe !

Never ever do that ! Even if you are in a crowd, it is not safe to show phone or to have phone easily possibly taken from your pocket : it can be very quick : someone takes your phone and passes it to someone else while preventing you to run after him. There might be 2 or 3 or 4 persons involved and if you try to react, they could physically harm you. One of my friends had his phone in his pocket during a concert. He felt something in his pocket : a young girl had taken his phone and passed it to someone behind. My friend was sure that she was the thief but she stayed in front of him without moving ...

Personnally, I have 2 phones : my main phone which stays in the hotel and a cheap one with internet access to call uber, surf on the net, look grindr which I take with me ... if it is stolen, it is no big deal

Uber can be used in Barcelona. Metro is also an option, particularly during the week end since metro operates until 2 am on friday nite and non stop on saturday nite. Personnally, I tend to try to find a good deal on booking or trivago in a large hotel close to a metro, preferably on line 1 or line 3

Indeed, I was in Lux last Friday and Saturday at the end of the afternoon. Did not find the gem I expected. I would not say that interativo boys are of loyer quality. They are indeed not as muscular as the dancers, but they can very sexy, even sexier than the dancers. Some of them are more of the boy next door type. Have a look at some recent interativo boys
