They work for different studios. Actually, some of the agencies discussed here are owned and run by individual studios and some of their stars are working for the agencies. However, most of these stars do not do penetration.

You should try it when you are there. I have used several agencies and never had a problem. Of course, some experience are better than others but it is just because of the chemistry between the boy and myself.
Send them a email or LINE and ask for what you are looking for. I even talked to several on the phone when I was in Japan and I don't even speak Japanese, some will be able to communicate a bit in English and you will have to guess the meaning then follow up with email. Sometimes may just hang up on you or may not work out, but that is part of the fun to me.

Hi Macaroni21. For non-Japanese speaking customers they either have LINE or email to make the appointment. You can just spell out what you are looking for and I usually include a clip of the boy I want. It may not work out due to availability. I have been in Japan 3 times since they reopened last October and used 3 or 4 different agencies during my time there. It is not the easiest system but it worked for me. I don't speak Japanese.
Top (anal sex) mean the boy will top you. Top only means they will be leading or active but there will be no penetration.

Osaka I think Osaka has a lot to offer
Bathhouse - There is the famous Spa World. This is regular super bathhouse frequented by fathers with kids. I was there several times before, lots of cute guys and I saw some light actions in the steam room but I didn't participate. There is also this regular Sento 金比羅温泉 https://iiofuro.com/osaka/s1640/. They did not respond to my email. Just like in Tokyo, I had to call them on my phone. They picked up the phone and came to pick me up. The process is more or less the same - confirm the guy you booked, payment in cash, the guy shows up, undress, he washes you in the shower, come out, have sex and the cuddle. Both of us came more or less the same time. He came in the condom while he was still in me.
I have to say, this guy although looks very similar to the picture but had definitely put on some pounds and is few years older in his forties rather than in his 30s. This is like the Sahara for gay venues, at least for a non-Japanese speaking person.
Bathhouse - There used to be a gayish (regular but frequented by gays) Sento (bathhouse) just a few minutes walk from the JR Kyoto station. I visited it once before the pandemic late at night and it was fun. But the building was torn down during the pandemic.
Brothel - There are not many brothels advertised for having a Kyoto shop, one such was 男子学園 https://www.dgdgdg.com/top.php?shop_id=1 . I wasn't interested in their offerings when I was preparing for my trip, so I did not booked anything. However, when I was in Tokyo I saw that they have a couple of new faces that I I like to meet so when I arrived in Kyoto I sent them an email in the morning and asked for an afternoon appointment. No response for a few hours. I sent them a follow up at around 2 pm, and then I sent them a Line message. The reply came in Line first and said the guy I wanted was fully booked. Then I asked for a 2nd option fully booked too.
After I came home from my vacation, I read on another forum that someone had a similar experience with dgdgdg's Tokyo store too - very tardy responses and the guy who showed was a few extra pounds over what was on the photo. So, buyer beware.

I just spent 9 days in Japan, 3 days each in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka over Thanksgiving. I visited several Onsens and a couple of brothels. Just a quick heads up, as with many things in Japan, it is better to prearrange the boys online before rather than trying to pick one up on the day of or one day before.
Tokyo
Hot spring - I didn't go to any gay saunas this time, but went to an Onsen with natural hot spring that was supposed to have a lot of eye candy and some action. Just a personal preference, I think I prefer my Japanese brothel experience (I used other shops in Japan before in previous trips with similar experience) over the ones I had in Thailand such as My Hero or VClub. The room in Japan is a regular studio with a shower and bright set up like a bedroom, and the guys (at least try to) make me feel like I was having sex with my boyfriend. Whereas in Thailand, the rooms are usually carved out from a big space and dimly lit, which makes me feel like I was visiting a brothel with a you know what 🤷♂️😅.

I just came back from a trip to Japan on China Airlines. On my way back, I had a nine hours layover in Taipei, so I left the airport and went into town. Border control was easy (US passport). Just fill out your flight information (the one leaving Taiwan) as your Taipei address on the Declaration form and you are free to roam. They still gave me the test kits but I never used them. Just remember the train into Taipei Station (which is about 20 minutes walk to Ximending or one subway stop away) is slightly over 1 hour depending on whether it is commuter or express.
I ended up having a massage at the Royal spa in Ximending (all the eating and bathing in Japan worn me out 😁). I had the regular 2 hours massage (NTD 3,000 no additional tips needed). My favorite guy was not available so I picked one from the list on site. As usual, the first hour was dry rub which included a lot of pressure point pressing (very much like a sport massage) and stretching. He twisted me like a pretzel with his body ( like a Thai massage but with me naked). The Royal spa usually adds 10 minutes to the 2 hours for showering before and after the massage.
The massage in Taiwan is usually very professional and strong like a sport massage even in the gay massage shops. HE is usually included (I never had it not included at various shops) but no sucking or fucking (this might happen 'extremely' rarely). I had one guy won't even let me touch him as he will do all the touching but he was naked and giving me HE (go figured). Of course, I never went back to that guy again. Probably from Hong Kong as well. There were a couple of YouTubers from Hong Kong already visited Thailand (when Thailand Pass was still in effect), Singapore and Malaysia. I think China has been discouraging its citizens travel for leisure purposes only.

I think Taiwanese are more "Traditional" in their believes than most Chinese, including those from Hong Kong. Most of them, especially those from the south, still go to temples and pray to the "traditional" gods (like Kuan Yin) for good fortunes and good marriages. I am not sure if that is considered "religious" or just being Chinese following the "traditions". Most Taiwanese that I know of mainly follow the "traditional" religions rather than Christianity. However, there are some very rich and powerful Born Again Christians in Taiwan who are willing to spend a fortune to advance Christianity in the island. The CEO of HTC spent a lot of money and energy trying to defeat gay marriage in Taiwan a few years ago. Unfortunately, we have a few of those here in the States as well!

I used them before. I contacted them on LINE and the boy met me at a 7-Eleven close to the station. A few things this is not my personal favorite.
1. Their studio is not the best I have visited. It is in fact very run down.
2. I asked for insertion in my LINE. They didn't mention it costs extra yen until I confirm with the boy when we were in the studio.
3. You cannot see the face, so I picked someone based on the body type. It ended up the guy is not really my type. Although sex was fine, but I think there are better alternatives. You do have an option to ask the manager to meet up and show you pictures for yen 2000. My understanding is that they don't have an office, so you will have to meet the manager at a Starbucks or something.
