I was in M2M, Jomtien Complex, tonight to watch their Monday show. It was good, highly energetic as usual. There is one dancer who looks hot and I think he's also the best dancer of the night. Probably even has some formal training in dancing the way he moves and pirouettes. Just wonder if we have a chance to off a performer from a show? Anybody here tried it?

One guy I recently offed in Moonlight doesn't think Nicky is muscular too. He didn't call him fat but said something along that line. The guy I offed is the most muscular/ripped floor boy in Moonlight and he's from Chiang Mai so most Moonlight patrons here would probably know who I am talking about.

First time I saw Nicky was last January, back when Moonlight models were still in Hotmale. I remember saying "God, I love Bangkok" the first time I saw him shirtless and in jeans lip-synching a chinese song. He def could pass as a local celebrity, imo. Not sure if this still holds true but my mamasan friend in hotmale told me I can off him for 1000 bar fine and 5000 tip but I may be disappointed with the length, if you know what I mean.

If anyone here had off him, I'd be very interested to hear the field report.

Speaking as someone who was actually there on the ground, and saw the faces of those celebrating the moment, I can assure you it was simply not a case of glitz and lipstick. These were predominantly a cross section of young people reveling in the joy of celebrating who they truly are and enjoying themselves. They were unafraid to to be themselves—and I envied their courage.

I come from that older generation of westerners who had to guard their sexuality for personal or professional reasons. Consequently we never experienced the freedom and exhilaration of being proud of our underlying identity. Bangkok provided the profound but temporary release from the bounds.
I hope we can all celebrate the the fact that the young gays who gathered in Silom Sunday do not share our repression.

Bangkok’s new governor is reported to be among those waving a gay banner. He provides hope and sustenance to those who braved elite society’s ignorance and discrimination on a given day inJune, 2022.

I usually go straight to the point "Are you money boy?" especially when the boy has a lot of underwear pictures.

If the boy "seen" but did not respond, or responds with something cryptic, like a period "." or a question mark "?", I rephrase my question to "Do you want sex for money?" and many times they say "yes".

Just noticed yesterday that Olivia’s has reopened in a new location on Silom road in the vicinity of Soi 2 with a mostly all-male staff.
Formerly with locations on Surawong and Soi Tarntawan (about where Tawan is situated today), the group of about 10 guys I think warrants further investigation.
I’d been a satisfied customer of Olivia’s in the pre-Covid days and hope it lives up to the memories.
All we’re sitting outside the shop Sunday, smiling in their blue polo shirts.

I was in Winner Boy Bar yesterday, quite early, around 8.30 pm. There were about a dozen boys in underwear and 3 other customers (6 at the time I left). There was one boy, who came to work and stripped down to his undies just to pull up again to go with a customer. It happened that fast

Soft drinks 89B, boy drinks 150B (boys get 50B per drink). You can buy a bucket of ping-pong balls, 20B apiece, and throw them at the boys  Boys get 10B for each ball they get hold of (just to be clear: I'm still talking about the ping-pong balls).
When I left, there was an elderly farang (the bar owner?) at the door who thanked me for coming.

So far, I never offed any boys from the bar, but like its laid-back atmosphere and also the boy playing-around. Will definitely come back.

Sunee still looked pretty dead even on Sat night. Aside from Winner Boy, there was only one other bar (Euro boys$) open with no customers

Like other 'karaoke' bars, Friendly Club is basically a 'Host Bar', you call a boy down to join you, and his job is then to entertain you for the next hour and drink your whisky haha .They can just talk to you, dance with you, flirt with you. The level of flirting may depend on how drunk you both are, and if the guy likes you or not. What you are not going to get is the sort of sexual groping you might get in some of the boy bars.
Keep in mind that the 'typical' customer in these places  are Thai girls, although most boys will happily entertain male customers.
These are mostly straight guys working here, and although some may be happy enough to be 'offed' and go back to your room with you, not all will want to go down the gay-for-pay route.
If you just want to have fun and party late into the night with handsome/cute Thai boys these are absolutely the places to be and in Pattaya, Friendly Club is, IMHO, the best of them!

I was in New Twilight last night, around 10pm. 5 or 6 groups of customers, not bad for a rainy Monday night. 350B for a soft drink.
They had 4 floor boys in total, who were fully clothed (not even a sleeve or seam off) and stayed on stage the whole time (Some members reported 20 guys during their visits, so I guess it was just my luck).
Their shows, obviously home-grown, were amateurish with some performers in slow motion trying to remember their next moves One of the dancers is out of shape, bald and beer-belly in a tight, he looked more like a customer than a performer.

When I left, no problems of Marmasans rushing in for a tip (maybe cuz I don't look like I have much money to throw around).

I tried BT House Men Massage (20m walk from Saphan Khwai BTS) yesterday, around 19h30. They only have 2 boys on-call, one looks cute in the picture so I asked to see him. Since the gap between picture and reality is so big, I had to pass

Walked back to Saphan Khwai BTS and decided to check out Kman spa as it's right next to the station. Two twinks in picture caught my eye, but one already quit last month while the other was not in the house. Mamasan, who was nice, said if I can wait for a few minutes (which, in my experience, could be anywhere between 10 and 60 min), he would try to contact the boy and tell him to come to work.
But with the incident earlier with BT, I turned down his offer, don't really want the boy to make the effort and then had to say no. That's what I love the best about go-go bars despite the cost: I can see the real person instantly and make a better informed decision.

Talking about freelance MBs and their asking prices, my experience is that MBs in commercial areas in Bangkok often ask for 2000 ST and quickly settle for 1500. Others, who are not MBs "by trade" but don't mind some extra income and often live outside these areas, tend to ask for 1000 ST.

There are always exceptions though. Last night, I talked to a boy on Hornet. He quoted "1500" and I'm thinking that's reasonable, no haggling needed, he added "but no sex". Excuse me?

I hadn't had a chance to ask "then what would you do to earn that 1500", "with sex, it's 2800" and while I was still reeling from the shock, "per hour".

I asked how he came up with that number (well, 2800, not the usual round number like 2500 or 3000) while aptly slipping in some info for perspective that even the model-like well-toned guys in Jupiter only asks for 2500 for short time (up to 2 hours).

He came back with, and I quote, "USUALLY people give me 5000 per hour". That still doesn't answer my question about the specificity of 2800 and also gives rise to another head scratcher "then why you asked me for 2800 only."
I suspect that the boy somehow ran into someone like our dear Vinapu and then that encounter became the yardstick against which all future transactions would be measured (sorry Vinapu, I know that you are not into twinks but I need a case in point everyone can relate to  ).
Anyway, I thought I must miss something because, IMHO, the boy looks cute but not THAT cute (18 yo, 1m72/50kg) and all of his Hornet pictures are photoshopped anyway. So I asked for his insta account and checked it out. Wow, pictures and videos galore. He looks more like a lady boy in those pictures and videos (heavy makeup with hairdo, dress, and whatnot). A total disillusionment for me, not for him.

I'm Vietnamese myself  and to me, Viet boys are still the cutest (pardon my patriotic biases).
In my experience, most Viet boys who work in a gay bar are straight and coming from rural areas in Vietnam, especially the central part (read: conservative and narrow-minded). So even when they are "reduced to" selling sex to men to earn a living, they still want to keep the illusion of "being a man with dignity and all" (I'm talking about this from the perspective of a Vietnamese).
There is also peer pressure. Since they all got into this line of work through friends and acquaintances, they kinda know each other, forming a fairly close-knitted community with well-kept secrets (of course nobody in the village back home know what they actually do in Thailand). And in that community, no one wants others to know that he can be anally f*cked by men.

I see this in Vietnam too, many times. Some boys let me top them for more money, but made me promise I don't tell their MB peers about that.

On the other hand, there are now quite a few Viet boys who work freelance on the app in Bangkok. They are mostly gay, taking good care of their appearance, very accommodating in bed, willing to do many things, and for less (they still earn more than what they normally do at home though). I just ran into two of those in Silom road the other day. They even solicit in street in broad daylight, approaching me with "massage offers" without knowing that I'm Vietnamese too.
Paul, long time no see. I lost access to my old Gay Thailand account and also the email account associated with it a couple of years ago so had to create a new one.

I stand corrected. Dream Boy guys are still in jeans tonight.
When I got out of Dream Boy at around 11h55, lights were already off at Fresh Boys and boys were leaving in droves. I asked some Viet boys in Vietnamese what was going on. Turns out it was a police raid. Because of the underwear issue? They said nope, just a regular check, so the bar had to close at midnight. I checked back at Dream Boy and they were closing down too.
