  1. I hope they live happy ever after but it would be good if the farang has no financial concerns or lives on a low floor in his condo building if the boy divorces him later.
  2. It is not very rowdy in Boyztown recently with Cafe Royale and Oscars closed. Even Jomtiem Complex is quieter now except for the numerous birthday parties that keep at least one bar busy on those nights. Hopefully the bars that are left in Sunee survive low season but it would take a brave or very rich farang with no financial worries to open a new bar. The chances of making a profit are remote at the best. If they could consolidate and move the remaining bars into one brightly lit soi it would make Sunee more appealing but relocating is probably too much of a cost for this option to be viable.
  3. I remember seeing all the massage boys in Soi Twilight with their shirts off dancing and playing water late afternoon in the middle of the soi a couple of years back. Quite a sight.
  4. I occasionally meet Chinese twinks from Blued on vacation in Pattaya or Bangkok and always zero fee for some very good fun.
  5. I was in Seoul last year. Fortunately i had a Korean that i had already met in Thailand on his vacation to stay with me. My observations were that the Korean guys in Seoul have been well served by the many gay American army personel based in the city so limted opportunities for me when i checked the apps or visited the nightlife areas alone.
  6. You are correct about the date and the location is at the old site at North Pattaya. I usually send the photos to a Thai friend to confirm dates and locations. Apparently the couple in the attached poster are Morlam superstars and my Thai friend was very keen to see their concert on the 16th March at the demolished Xzyte location. I did not see the usual Morlam costumes in the poster so i was not going to bother but he said it will be good and there will be lots of gay guys there. It will probably be more of a band setup with a few dancers but I guess i better go and check out the eye candy and also the music.
  7. There seems to be more of these posters about the place advertising Morlam concerts than previously.
  8. I stayed in Seminyak in late 2017 at the Ping Hotel. Many gays stay there and the staff are used to visitors and do not care. It was a short walking distance to the gay bars and the beach. Get your hotel to arrange a pickup from the airport if you want to save the hassle of dealing with the taxi mafia who are in control of the transport at the airport. There are many massage places in Seminyak and some willing massuers although do not take it for granted that they are up for fun. The traffic is very congested near the tourist areas so if you can hire a motorcycle or find a friend to drive you around it is the ideal way to move around quickly. I had a friend from Suryabaya stay with me for three days and he took me to many sightseeing places and beaches on a motorcycle. Much better than the snail pace in a taxi. Before he arrived i met a few very good looking twinks from mainland Indonesia on Grindr etc who fly to Bali to have some fun because it is safer than their homophobic cities where it is dangerous to have gay sex. They were very enthusiastic and only asked for taxi fare, food or did not want payment. If you have time make sure you get to Ubud and do a tour through the rice fields. I did a electric bycicle tour which was very good and next time i will stay in that area for a few days and travel further north to see the waterfalls. There is also white water rafting near Ubud which i enjoyed.
  9. There was many muscle men in the crowd and although not my type i agree that they looked much more appealing than the bronzed sculptures on the stage.
  10. If Numazu travels anywhere we are happy to read his reports and in the Thailand forum they are easy to find. The Columbian trip report and his adventures with the Chaterbate guys will be very interesting and appreciated if he finds the time to write about it.
  11. I have been to Vietnam five times in the past two years. I met many willing and nice guys from the apps, mostly bottom twinks in Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Dalat and Ho Chi Minh cities. Most were not money boys although there are plenty of mboys available on the apps. Sex was as good or better than the paid variety in Thailand. In my opinion there are generally more good looking guys in Vietnam that you see when you are out in the streets, shopping malls, bars, beaches etc than any other part of Asia that i have visited. .
  12. Boyz Town yesterday afternoon. Looking towards Panorama Bar at the end of the soi.
  13. I tip 40 baht for a close look and feel but no sucking like some farangs i see there. 100 baht is a bit much for me each time as i have most boys in the bar over and multiple times. Still, whatever you spend is good value as in my opinion Nice Boys is the most fun go go bar in Pattaya. The guys i have offed recently have been excellent back at my room as well.
  14. Rather tame compared to Nice Boys which is worth the higher drink prices.
  15. He might have just been looking at the note out of curiosity as it looked different to the baht notes he is used to seeing. Not everyone is a thief but i guess if the opportunity is there with easy money available the temptation is too much for guys who are desperate for cash. The only time i was robbed was when i was in the shower in Australia. The guy i had been seeing for 6 months ran off with my laptop and more never to be seen again. It is rare that i let anyone visiting my room for sex out of my sight since that experience.
  16. I took the attached photo tonight looking down the Dream Boys, Kawaii and 360 Bar (now closed) soi. It is difficult for these bars to survive when customers have to contend with these conditions to get to the bars. I guess if we are keen enough a bit of water and mud would not stop us finding our way to a bar but there are plenty of others to choose from and keep dry.
  17. I would say the club is very new, probably built in the last few months. In the attached photo the building does not look huge but it seemed bigger than Tam Nan inside and has an industrial look about it. Tum Nan is a favourite of mine but the air conditioning works better in the new club and the boys and everyone else there had a great time, hugging and kissing their friends and dancing like there was no tomorrow. The boys said that after the last morlum concert the new club was totally packed out. I am sure you and your friends will enjoy the club and the location is so very convenient. I asked one of my Thai friends and they said the sign in the third attached photo translates to "South Pattaya Third Road Esan Music Morlum" I believe the Morlum concerts at Jomtiem are held on Thep Prasit road up near the market area but i have never been to those concerts.
  18. It looked very new, went up in the last few months.
  19. Recently i attended the new Isaan club located on third road near the Sophon market. If you live at My View condo on Soi 17 you probably can hear it from your room. The signage is all in Thai script so i asked about the name of the club and was told "Superstar Esan" and another translation was "Artists of the east". The shed type building is huge and had good air-conditioning although as usual smoking is allowed. I arrived with a large group of mostly Jomtiem Complex bar boys about 100am and left when it closed at 530am. Entertainment wise the place is a clone of Tum Nan Kon Esan at North Pattaya but much more convenient for the Jomtiem and Sunee bar boys. A late night and not for everyone but these clubs are a lot of fun especially if you go with a group of Thai boys.
  20. I took this photo last night. Maybe they are going to attempt to fix the flooding problem in that soi ?
  21. Make sure you backup your Line chats. I lost all my contacts recently. I registered when Line first started with a Thai phone number. I changed to a new Thai number later but my Line was still registered with the original Thai phone number. Earlier this year i recieved a brief message from Line which i overlooked and the next day all my contacts disappeared from Line. I contacted Line customer service and someone else had finally registered with Line using my original Thai number. It took six years for someone to use my recycled Thai number. My contacts were not recovered. I suggest regular backups of Line chats and anyone who is really important get their Facebook, Whatsapp and email contact details just in case there are problems with Line.
  22. When i got close to the floats with the muscle guys i thought "this would be heaven for vinapu".
  23. I did visit the memorial in Bali. We had attacks in Australia too but i still will go to Sydney and Melbourne. I nearly was run over by a songtaew in Pattaya recently. Stuff happens and no need to take unnecessary risks but Bali is relatively safe. The volcano has been more of a danger for a tourist in Bali recently.
