My all time favourite venue was the old Hero. Seasoned Bangkok visitors will know what I mean. If there anything approximating to the old Hero these days?

Yes Hero was very good, another favourite of mine was Adonis, so many of the guys there were very well endowed and could f*ck like true champions

  2. Just my 2 cents worth, right or wrong. There are countries that are very keen on getting the Chinese tourist back ($$), Thailand and Philippines would be two and even the Australian tourism industry want them back in droves but I wonder if they truly understand what would or could happen if plane loads of infected Chinese start landing? My pessimistic crystal ball is showing possible government panic if the numbers in those countries start sharply rising by the incoming infected that the possibility of the Thai Pass or Philippine One Health Pass gets reintroduced or even the dreaded quarantine.

I know many have had enough of corona and just want to get on with life (me included) but a bit of foresight is required, I for one won't bother traveling if those bloody passes are reintroduced. I'm planning mid next year and intend to get there and have a bloody good time but will be watching to see how it all pans out.

  3. Singapore airlines also sent some aircraft to the very dry Alice Springs (Australia) plane storage facilities during the covid down period.

Something that annoys me is the Thai Airways Perth to Bangkok and Brisbane to Bangkok services have been cancelled and yet at the same time they introduced an extra daily service from Melbourne to Bangkok making that 2 flights daily out of Melbourne. My thoughts are that they needed the extra aircraft and crew for the added Melbourne flights so closed down the other two routes and they won't say (or refuse to say) when or even if they will restart Perth and Brisbane. From an insider I know at Perth airport they say the 3 months mid year that Thai did resume the Perth flights they were full and yet we got shafted and not in the sexually pleasant way either. Singapore airlines are looking to be the favourites for my future trips but they are via Singapore and not direct, then again that could also allow for a few nights stopover in Singapore.

  4. My planned trip for next year looks like it will be via Singapore and the flight I'm looking at will arrive about 11am so I'm hoping immigration won't be too crowded. I will be looking on Flightradar24 in the days before to judge what it could be like. I am also looking at possibly using the airport link so I'm hoping the BTS isn't overly crowded when I leave the airport.

Are there good and bad times to arrive? I always thought that late afternoon was a busy period.

The flights I used to take pre covid from Perth arrived at swampy about 3:15pm and it was a race to immigration, sometimes I would get there just before another plane (or 2) load of passengers descended on immigration. If the flight was late by as little as 15 or 20 minutes immigration queues would be quite long.

  6. I was never into kissing the guys until one hot and very sexy twink in Phuket got me hooked on kissing (my god but he was a good kisser), I would have no objections if a waiter or one of the bar guys came up and wanted to lock lips in the bar (for practice, a dare or even a tip it wouldn't matter). When I'm going with them in either the massage shops or back to the hotel I now make sure to ask them if they kiss (and expect kissing).

  7. Pre covid I used to travel to Thailand in either May/June/July and found the weather was good for me (I was used to it) and one advantage of traveling then was less crowds in a lot of places. My next trip may well be next May with current plans to go overboard (4 guys if possible) in a massage place on my birthday😑

Nice report. Very happy to hear of the taxi solution. Do you know if Tarntawan still gives its guests vouchers to use the Clark Hatch Fitness Center and Pool in Soi Thaniya? If it does, I might have to make a reservation.

Clark Hatch fitness which then became Thaniya fitnees closed down, a victim of the corona plague. I doubt anyone took it over

  9. The train is a good idea however it can also depend on the time of day or night as well, I find it annoying when people get on packed trains at rush hour and they have to try and squeeze their luggage in as well. Which is why I don't take the train from the airport, the time my flight gets in and I get through immigration and customs the trains are packed full, I guess it would be different if I got in around midday. Sure some people only take carry on with them when they fly but most don't.
