There seems to be consensus that there is no risk of contracting HIV by receiving oral sex, and when giving it the risk is very low, especially if one doesn't have any cuts, bleeding gums, or other paths to the bloodstream in the mouth. This is good news. The bad news is that other less dramatic but still nasty STDs can be contracted through oral sex. It opens the walls within the mouth to "open" and make it more susceptible to virus invasion/infection. Perhaps, we should stick to condomed-cocks when we do bj/hj...and of course, anal penetration.
