is it safe

Probably not, but you have to determine your level of risk. I used to always get blown with a condom, but it doesn't compare. The risk is probably slightly higher than a random hookup, but honestly, not by much.

Guy... just want to know your opinion about having oral xxx with go go boys or massage boys without using condom.

There seems to be consensus that there is no risk of contracting HIV by receiving oral sex, and when giving it the risk is very low, especially if one doesn't have any cuts, bleeding gums, or other paths to the bloodstream in the mouth.  This is good news.

The bad news is that other less dramatic but still nasty STDs can be contracted through oral sex.

Agree. Very low risk. Even lower if they don't come in your mouth.

Oral sex with a condom is, IMHO, like a decaf latte with skim milk. Why bother?

It's probably riskier to take a tuk tuk to the massage parlor.

If you wish to take a chance and receive a BJ, fair enough but it is inappropriate to expect or require one from a money-boy.

Why inappropriate? Because of HIV? Or some other reason? If you ask first? I'm actually not experienced in commercial sex much, and it's a genuine question. Certainly I expect a bj at Babylon. If I don't get one, I usually lose interest. (And as an equal opportunity slut I believe in giving as well as receiving!)

But I don't know about money boy etiquette. Maybe it's time I learned, at the tender age of almost 66, eh?

You're on a site that talks about hiring money boys and you think it's inappropriate to expect a blow job?  Suddenly I have visions of Farangs hiring boys to hold hands with until they're married...

Just say no didn't work when Nancy Reagan was bleating it out, and it isn't gonna work for any normal Gay man or money boy I'm sure...

It would be inappropriate to demand a BJ without condom.

However, the majority of working professionals offer such a service. Considering this is not a high risk transmission path, accepting this could be considered as reasonable behaviour.

I don't DEMAND a boy give a bj without a condom. In the couple of times a boy wants to, I've just said I rather not . If the boy isn't comfortable not using a condom, your probably not going to have a good time anyway. This is something that should probably be asked before finalizing the deal.

Actually mouthwash contains alcohol and it is unwise to use it an hour prior and an hour after the volcanic eruption.

It opens the walls within the mouth to "open" and make it more susceptible to virus invasion/infection.

Perhaps, we should stick to condomed-cocks when we do bj/hj...and of course, anal penetration.

Just assume that every boy is a HIV+ carrier....better be safe than sorry...

This sounds like preaching to the choir.

No one wants to get STDs.

What is helpful is to identify, describe the risks.

Then the amount of risk we want to take is a personal thing.

I always rinse my mouth with mouthwash after sucking cock. I'm not sure if this does any good. Generally money boys clean themselves throughly before sex but the same can't be said at gay saunas. Also I avoid brushing my teeth before.

You must have good pockets to carry the mouthwash with you.  I have a way too which I'm not sure if it works.  I do it with much saliva trying to have more fluid coming out of my mouth than getting in.  Maybe it has some "placebo" effect...

Your post is rather worrying. I've been washing my mouth out with mouthwash for years. I think I need a second opinion

On this !. I carry a small bottle of listerine in my pocket when I'm away from my room. I suppose the risk is greater if you suck to completion and you get a spurt of cum in the mouth.

Mouthwash with alcohol should avoided for other medical reasons as well.

Don't forget that pre-cum can also carry the virus. BJs are not risk-free. It's up to the individual whether he takes that risk; but he should  not expect or encourage his partner to do so, particularly if  younger, less experienced and less well-educated in matters of sexual health.

Nothing in life is risk free. Crossing Second Road Pattaya in rush hour is rather dodgy. The difficulty is assessing the level of risk. For example I think if the risk of unprotected anal penetration was one in ten thousand many including myself would accept that, but maybe not one in a thousand. When I first discovered Thailand thirteen years ago bareback was prevalent but not now, and I believe the statistics show a reduction in HIV/AIDS in recent years.

Nobody can give you the figures and there are no bookies to give you the odds. For oral it's impossible partly due to participants usually doing anal also, with condom or without.

For myself it's bareback for sucking cock, but condoms for anal penetration. Tongue Kissing is no risk but not sure about rimming.

Half gay porn shows unprotected anal which may tempt some to engage.

For me it's Condom for anal, natural for oral. Yes, there are risks and, as with getting on a Tuk tuk or motorcycle taxi, I accept them. Given that condom success rate for stopping pregnancy is only around 98% (100% between gay males), those wanting absolutes should only endulge in looking and not touching. Where's the fun in that?
