  1. Early to be saying this. There is also speculation about a massive power failure on board. Time will tell.
  2. I would rather NOT! But then I wouldn't know which additional posters you are trying to drive off the board. Let's get back to this thread's topic and if you feel posts are inappropriate, as Moses sensibly advised, report them.
  3. Ignore Peter, he seems to think he has a monopoly on posting nudes! Your experiences are interesting.
  4. I had to look it up!
  5. It was definitely worth posting. What may seem routine to you is interesting to others, especially those following the relationship between you and your hard working guy. Please continue to update us!
  6. God Moses, you really became increasingly delusional in your denial of reality. thought you would have sobered up by now. As you are needing to go back to WW2 now, as previously, to bolster your arguments perhaps you could acknowledge some of the the Soviet atrocities also? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_atrocities_committed_against_prisoners_of_war_during_World_War_II
  7. @PeterRS I had been holding my tongue in the hope that this unpleasant and pointless thread would be deleted or drop from sight. However as you seem set on perpetuating it…. It is hard to believe that you can be so obtuse. You seem unable to understand the hints that others have dropped on this thread and others in what seems much like a consensus, so I’ll give you my opinion in a more direct way. Your comments about other active posters and their posting styles, eg this thread, are petty, snide and vindictive and have diminished this forum and discouraged interesting participants from contributing. Your posts are too often full of vainglorious condescension, seem to be ubiquitous and are swamping the board. You have no humility in your posting and can never accept that anyone else has a valid perspective. It’s not a competition, it’s a conversation. Sooner or later I expect you will become terminally offended again, throw another hissy fit and storm out slamming the door behind you. You will leave behind a board diminished not by your absence but by the absence of those you have discouraged from participating on this forum. PS. “The Dangers of Assumptions” is a deeply pretentious title to a thread that was created solely to stick the knife into a regular, valued and informative poster.
  8. I provided a link in my post to the thread referred to, only two pages long, so that anyone interested enough could see the comments referred to in full and in context. Better I think than a partial and edited cut and paste created by someone who is grinding an axe.
  9. Always worth trying the excellent search engine. https://www.gayguides.com/search/?q=klover&quick=1
  10. This post is deranged. I thought that I remembered the exchange but went back to check again. I remembered correctly that at the time I also thought that you were condescending in your initial comments to bkkfmj, for exactly the reasons that he laid out. I thought that his post was very fair, and that your apology was appropriate and gracious. Now this nonsense diatribe! Just nonsense. Delete it! https://www.gayguides.com/topic/76260-the-dangers-of-colombia/
  11. 'Twas ever thus! Isn't life unfair. If 80% of the population were female, how much fun straight men would have. Can't they see they should cross over and become gay tops. Actually quite a lot do, particularly if a face saving "present" is involved. Good report, informative and entertaining, thank you!
  12. I don't think he did, and neither did the Guardian. Soldomites, people who have sex with soldering irons, are protected under the constitution.
  13. The heritage of the French! I remember when I was doing visa runs from Bangkok to Vientiane in the 70's that was something that I really looked forward to, the heritage of the French, especially the bread which I couldn't get in Bangkok at that time. Although there was a "French bakery" on Silom, it wasn't a patch on what was available in Vientiane. Even the Pathet Lao appreciated it. I remember quietly having lunch in an excellent(and cheap)French Restaurant after the Pathet Lao had entered Vientiane, when a group of eight or nine of them, fully armed, entered the restaurant. Initially I was a little alarmed but then realised that they had a large table booked for them in the middle of the restaurant, where they slung their weaponry over the backs of their chairs, sat down and tucked in! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pathet_Lao
  14. I share the frustration with these kinds of payment issues where clearly as you say no one has This does also happen in our native countries even without the complication of different languages, as I found this morning. However over all, even without any massages, this sounds like one of your best days recently with tickets successfully bought, opportunity to practise Italian, and finding a good new cafe/restaurant. All topped off by the encouraging news from your bf and his business.
  15. Don't apologise! Your personal experience has been illuminating and thank you for sharing.
  16. Bangkok Nursing Home has a Colonoscopy rate of 25,000 Baht. They have a promotion rate of Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy for 39,000 Baht. https://www.bnhhospital.com/colonoscopy-price/
  17. Only rarely can you get a guy into a tourist class hotel. Generally finding a suitable guy is easier than finding a venue. Sometimes al fresco is the easiest option.
  18. Forgive the cynic in me, and it is nothing personal, however reduced to it’s bare bones and in abstract……. A Farang newly retired to Pattaya meets a Rent Boy, who becomes his Fuck Buddy, who becomes his Pimp, who becomes his Boy Friend. Sounds like Boy Friend, not in the first bloom of youth, starts to become financially dependent on his Farang. Farang decides to break up with Boyfriend but as a breakup gift provides Boyfriend with wherewithal to set up his own business. The business is selling fruit salad which requires the boyfriend, who likes to party until dawn on Jomtien beach, to get up early to purchase fruit in the market and then be in attendance to run the business. After a few weeks of the business(which is not going well) being set up Boyfriend persuades Farang that perhaps their relationship may still have a future after all so is ready to walk away from the business for a few weeks to be with Farang. Farang meanwhile is putting time, and probably more money sooner or later, into correcting the Boyfriends mismanagement of the business. This reads like quite a lot of similar stories, and the chances of this working out well, in any of the relevant areas, are small. But I wish you luck. My early relationship with my Thai partner also had a poor prognosis, but amazingly we are still together and happy after thirty years! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. And Kudos to those who have helped with the QR codes. But honestly what person who was motivated to/able to run their own business wouldn’t check the message to which their customers are linking.
  19. Having worked for months at a time in both Morocco and Tunisia I would say that lots of middle class locals(mostly males) enjoy a drink on occasion, while the lower class(males principally) may not normally do so(cost?), but will if the opportunity arises, but may not hold their drink very well.
  20. As an aperitif before you serve dinner....
  21. I didn't quote the bible. I provided a link to a chapter and verse that demonstrates, as the bible significantly predates the creation of Russia, that your homely "He sees a speck in someone else's eye, but does not see a log in his own" is not an original saying from your own culture at all but is simply regurgitating the bible's "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" We could say that it is Moses is quoting from the bible that he helped create. Whether the bible is true or not is irrelevant. Although as you don't think it is true it's strange that you should choose a Nom de Plume from it. Although perhaps it played to your vanity to take the role of the precursor of god(Putin?!). You could have called yourself Bilbo Baggins after all!
  22. He enjoys the shoving.
  23. Not true! You even parrot back to us the Kremlin PR that you have read.
