I was going to comment on that, but just wrote it off as him talking to himself 🤷‍♂️

If they made a sequel to that movie Sybil, Olddaddy would be perfect for the part of the (much) older Sybil although Sally Field would probably kill him for it.

Which is easy to do with multiple personalities!

There was a Nepali guy working at the now-defunct Tawan a few years back. And a tailor shop up Silom Road that I have used on a few occasions has Nepalis on its staff.

I have seen, and used, a couple of Nepali escorts, here in London,  a few years ago. Pretty good. Now disappeared.

Correct, Dwarf Indian, They work for tailor shops owned by Indian. Had met a few in Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket and mostly bottom boys. Many of them were born in Thailand.

PP bar had their soft opening last night in Jomtien complex. Bar looks really fresh. With very soft comfortable sofas where you can spent some time with your favourite boy of the day.

The will officially open beginning next week. So actually only in a few days from now.

Staff on sight could not give any details about the owner, or why bar is called PP.

I like this. It's pretty. PP could be the initials of the owners for eg Piss and Pot (Piss is pronounced as Pitt in Thai). If they keep the music at a reasonable level, this could be a good place to catch up with friends or stop and have a tipple while taking a break from the caucophony of the complex and Jomtien in general.

And what value does this create for customers other than to enjoy (for the time being) soft cushions with new fabric under one's bum?

Value is a subjective thing. I like dressing up in the evenings and going to smart places. Why deride a place even before it's open?

Surely cushions are to cover your midriff & groin!

Visited PP and the new bar, Jungle Boy, on Monday, which is between Candy Bar and the alley way down to Zing Resort.

Both are Thai owned and managed.

PP as at 23:00 is 80% full, and best described as a Karaoke bar, stage is over in the far left of the bar, so sitting down at street level on the right isn't deafening or less cringeworthy if the budding vocalist is say, vocally challenged.

Jungle Boy is a pool table on the inside, and low volume music, so holding a conversation isn't a strain. Seats at street level, so ideal for people watching. Thai Whisky (Blend 285) at 119THB, Gordon's 139THB, Thai Whiskey and Coke at 150THB, Thai Soda Water 79TGB, Chang Beer 150THB. And a handful of boys to sit with you, else they're playing pool.

Manager called Charlie at Jungle Boy. Inside tables, formica topped plywood on beer crates. Good atmosphere and 90% full at 23:30.

To remain thematically consistent, staff at Jungle Boy should be in loincloths like Tarzan of venerable fame.

True, however bar still to have it's billboard erected/painted. So theme not yet fully implemented.

Nice to see two new bars open in the Complex both with a complement of boys and customers. I’m looking forward to a January/February visit when I’ll be able to check them out. The Complex continues to cement its position as the premier night time vunue for gay men, particularly those like me who enjoy Asian boys.
