@jimmie50 , if your condo is close to Asoke BTS station, you might find it faster and easier to use the MRT subway from Sukhumvit station to Silom station, than traveling by BTS. 

The MRT would be a direct shot on one train, with no transfer required.  Sukhumvit MRT and Asoke BTS stations are close together.  Both stations are adjacent to Terminal 21 Asoke.

That way you would avoid the masses of people transferring trains at Siam BTS station during the busy parts of the day, and avoid waiting to board a second train.

Another advantage of the MRT is the stations and platforms are much cooler, being located underground, a bonus during the hot season.  Silom MRT and Sala Daeng BTS stations are connected by a walkway.

Thanks for the recommendation.  While I am very familiar and comfortable with BTS, I have actually never been on MRT on my previous trips to Thailand.  Not sure why my friends never use it or have shown me the ropes, as they were quick to 'train me' on BTS and get me the Rabbit card.  It also doesn't help me learn to navigate when they have a car and quite often will pick me up and take me where I want to go.  However, I am not comfortable asking them for transportation to the massage shops or gay bars/clubs!  LOL.  Perhaps my next adventure this coming week is to experience MRT and learn my way around that system.  Maybe my Paradise guy can show me, but he has a motorbike so not sure if he has ever used it, either.  I will definitely ask him, though.  

 

continued…Installment 3: Ate something that didn’t quite agree with me from one of the food carts on the street.  Ended up laying low for the next 24 hours.  After that was back to normal.  Paradise guy checked on me throughout and wanted to bring me some medicine.  I came prepared with trusty old pepto bismol.  That, and plenty of rest did the trick.

As I continue my daytime exploration of Silom, I was walking down a pretty much deserted Patpong.  It was way too early in the day for any night market activity to be getting underway.  I was heading from Silom to Surawong with thoughts of getting a massage at Avarin or Green when I walked bast Chaichana Massage.  I vaguely remember reading something about this place on ShamelessMack2.  There was one young man sitting out front.  Just my type…early 20’s, slim, handsome…with the most beautiful smile.  He looks at me with those big, beautiful eyes and flashes that wide smile…I melted into a puddle right then and there.  He didn’t have to ask me twice if I wanted a massage.  After showing me the options, I selected a 90 minute aroma massage provided he was the person that would be doing the massage.  I wouldn’t be interested otherwise…it was him, period.  The only thing lacking from the experience was that he does not like to kiss.  That would have been the icing on the cake, but everything else he was amenable.  He didn’t start out naked, but it wasn’t long before clothing was shed.  He had the smoothest skin with just enough hair on his legs to get my engines going.  I don’t know what the classification for this shop is, but my experience with this young man was definitely H or Type 4, including penetration.  We exchanged Line accounts and made plans to meet next week on Monday…his day off.  I cannot wait for round 2.  One thing unique about this shop is there are steps down…no steps up.  The shop itself is in what I would call a basement.  When you first walk in you go down two or three steps to a landing where the reception desk is located.  After paying for the massage, you are escorted down around 10 or 12 steps to the lower level with a large open room.  In that large open room are the chairs for foot massage.  Off the larger room are the individual massage rooms that include ensuite shower.  Shower is small, and I am certainly not a tiny person, but we managed to squeeze in after the massage to shower together.  No idea if this is the norm or a one-off situation for this shop, but think I will need to try it again to find out.

Paradise guy took the day off from the shop so he could spend the time with me.  Didn’t do anything special, actually.  Just hung out at the condo, watched a movie, had some snacks and beer (him, not me), and spent a large part of the afternoon just curled up in bed together…cuddling, kissing, caressing…just the things I really enjoy.  He knows how to push all of my buttons!  Naturally, bed time included doing the wild thing.  It wasn’t all tame.  lol.  After showering together, we headed out for some dinner before he headed home.  It worries me that he took time off from work to hang out with me as I know if he doesn’t work there is no income for that day.  But, if I offer any compensation he refuses.  I don’t push because I certainly don’t want to offend him.  During this discussion it was also important to him that I know he doesn’t do anything with other customers except HJ.  Of course, I am not totally naive and realize he could just be saying that because he thinks it is what I want to hear.  However, my gut is telling me that is true.  He said he could tell from the first time we met back in October that I was different.  For now, I am just going to enjoy the time we spend together and try not to think too much beyond that.

It can be difficult to get an outside seat at G's around 9pm. Earlier  is usually easier. I think he has a booking system,  but I've never used it. I usually do have a drink outside Banana bar. Boys there are quite chatty.

Well, it was daytime when I visited, so night market wasn't in operation.  However, there were no distractions and no noticeable noise when I was in the massage room.  The room I was in was quite large, as well.  Just wish the shower stall was a bit bigger.  Would fit two normal size persons just fine...but was a bit tight for this slightly overweight farang.  lol.  

ok...not going into this with blinders on this time.  lol.  I am a little more grounded this trip.  In October and my first real experience in Silom by myself (minus straight friends), I was like the proverbial kid in the candy store for the very first time.  Even at my age, it was all so new, fresh and exciting...even exhilarating.  I have more time this trip to explore and experience things.  That helps considerably.  I don't feel under any time constraints.  

Definitely not looking for a relationship at this stage in life.  I enjoy his company and the attention.  The reality is he works in an SS massage shop, so I have no idea how many customers he really sees in a day, nor does it really matter.  I also have no idea what experience he provides those customers.  I don't ask, as it isn't any of my business or concern.  I have no clue what stories he might create for other customers.  For him, it's a job and business.  For me, I am just going to enjoy whatever time we spend together while I am here without any strings attached.  

continued…Installment 4: Not much exciting to report.  Needed to do some laundry, and was meeting my friends for brunch.  I am really not a fan of the combination washer/dryer units.  They do an ok job of washing, but just never get the clothes dry.  I end up putting things on a hanger, then on a rack outside on the balcony to let them air dry.  Brings back fond memories of my childhood and helping my grandmother hang clothes on a line in the back yard.  My friends picked me up and we went to some out of the way place supposedly famous for their chicken.  It was just ok for me…nothing exceptional, but enjoyed spending the time with friends.  Isn’t the type of place I would request going back to, nor would I ever be able to find it again on my own.  Was contemplating what mischief I might get into in the evening, and since I have not been to any of the clubs yet I considered a visit to Hotmale to see if the Cambodian guy I hooked up with back in October was still there.  But then, I got a message from Paradise guy wanting to know if I was coming by to see him today.  We all know where this ended up…don’t we.  He mentioned he was hungry, so I offered to pick something up and bring it to him.  We arranged to meet early evening.  I told him to book a two hour session.  Stopped by Silom Complex when I got off BTS.  They are having an indoor Street Market festival…I think for Chinese New Year.  One section is merchandise, but another section is all food booths.  I picked up several things for us to share and then made my way over to Paradise.  Lots of guys working at the shop today, more than usual, but not many customers.  Probably because the area is saturated with massage shops.  Too much competition within that one street.  My guy says business is very slow these days.  The guys know me pretty well by now, so they are friendly and polite but aware I am just there for one person.  lol.  Nobody tries to persuade me otherwise.  Perhaps there is some hidden or unspoken ‘code of conduct’?!?  We sat in the back corner on the sofa where the Chinese owner usually sits when he is there to eat the food I brought.  Then we headed upstairs to one of the rooms for some relaxation and fun time.  The guy at the reception desk has seen so much of me now that regardless of time requested he just charges me the 60 minute rate.  lol.  I call it the frequent customer discount.  Doesn’t hurt that I have started to tip him just a little as a return favor.  Not sure the boss would approve.  After some massage, but more play, it was time for me to leave.  By this time I was more than satisfied and very happy, so wasn’t sure if I would stay around and go to a club or not.  It was around 8:30pm, so decided to walk through the night market.  Specifically wanted to see if I could locate White Cat.  Finally saw the sign above the door, but there was no sign of life.  Door to the steps was closed and locked.  No sign to indicate hours or that there was even a business upstairs other than the old pink sign above the door.  Lingered around thinking they might open around 9pm and enjoyed a roti with egg and banana.  Walked to the end of the night market at Surawong and then back to White Cat, but still no signs of life.  Walked across to the next Soi and made a stop in Foodland for some snacks.  While in Foodland I received a text from the hot number at Chaichana I met earlier in the week.  He wanted to know if we were still on for getting together on Monday.  I didn’t have to think twice.  No hesitation whatsoever.  It was a resounding ‘yes, definitely’!  Gave him the address and confirmed a 12:30pm arrival at the condo.  Once I knew that was going to happen for sure, I decided to head back to the condo instead of going to Hotmale.  Will save club visits for another day.

As an option later in the evening, even if satisfied earlier, a good time is usually had by going to the bars without the intention of off-ing anyone. Just have a drink with a guy or two, watch the show and see a bunch of dicks 😅

By the way, I air dry my clothes on a line in the backyard. I hate dryers - they shrink my clothes - and most of my laundry is handwashed. We only use the dryer for big items like blankets and bedding during the rainy season and only sparingly.

In the states, we have separate machines for washing and for drying.  When traveling outside of the US, I always run across the combination machines.  Instructions are often written in the language of whatever country I am visiting.  As a result, I do not know if there is a way to bypass or turn off the dryer function and just air dry all of my clothes.  I, too, do not like using the dryer for certain things, and will always hang them to air dry when at home.  I hate tight fitting clothes, and my shirts always shrink if I put them in the dryer.  If that happens, I end up donating them to one of the local thrift shops.  

continued…Installment 5: I believe I am getting a bit behind in my updates.  As I was beginning to write the next installment, I looked back and realized I am probably not doing a very good job of pacing myself as I said I was going to do this trip.  I seem to be averaging two hook-ups daily in some shape or form.  To be quite honest, I am not sure how long I will be able to keep up this pace.

On Monday, the young man from Chaichana showed up at 12:30pm as promised.  I will call him Jack.  He is from a small town in Northern Thailand and still has that country boy charm and innocence.  He is also very handsome and has the most beautiful smile.  We chatted for a bit, and then we moved to the bedroom.  He came prepared with some coconut oil, so we started with massage.  His skills are average, so it’s not just a splash of oil and some circular motions.  He actually provides pretty decent coverage as well as pressure and a variety of strokes.  Of course, the massage was just to get things warmed up.  What I really wanted was an extension of what we did in the massage shop, but for an extended time period.  Since we had already met and we were in a more private environment, he was much more relaxed and really seemed to enjoy the intimacy.  He even initiated some kissing, which was lacking in the shop.  All I can say is he felt really good inside of me, and we were both hot and sweaty by the time he exploded.  To add to that country boy charm, after spending about three hours with me, he was heading off to temple because he always does that on his first day off each month.  We definitely plan to see each other again next Monday.

Next up was a scheduled appointment at Prestige.  The young man I saw at the Sukhumvit location was going to be at the Sathorn branch.  In fact, the daily Line post for Prestige the last two or three days only lists the Sathorn location.  Not sure if the other location is temporarily closed, or what the situation is.  I wanted to schedule another appointment with him as I wanted to see just how far I could push the limits.  I know others on the forum have been disappointed with Prestige when it comes to extra services.  However, I have managed to get lucky with a couple of different therapists, so wanted to see if I could make it number 3.  Although he was pretty adamant about following the shop rules and not going beyond B2B, he did offer me his Line account and said he would do more privately.  So, while it was a little disappointing at the moment, there is hope.  I really like the atmosphere and facilities of this shop in general, and the massage itself is usually very good.  Admin will definitely not discuss any particulars about the therapists beyond their posted services and insist it is a completely legitimate shop.

Now things got a little complicated.  Unbeknownst to me at the time because my phone was on silent, during my session at Prestige my Paradise guy texted and wanted to know what I was doing.  That could mean he wanted something, or it could mean he was checking up on me.  My reply was probably delayed about 30 minutes from the time he texted me, but I just said I forgot that my phone was on silent and didn’t realize he had sent me a message until I actually looked at the phone.  It wasn’t a lie, but also not 100% true.  lol.  Anyway, he said it was a slow day with no customers, too many guys in the queue, and he wasn’t feeling well.  Could he come over and spend the night.  I certainly wasn’t going to turn down this opportunity.  Any chance I can get to curl up beside him and feel the warmth of his naked body beside mine and his passionate kisses I am definitely going to take.  We just snuggled and fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms.  Woke up later than usual, had some breakfast, and then he was off to work.  I guess I should really give him a name instead of always just saying Paradise guy, so will call him Sam.  Sorry...I know...sappy love story.  lol.

When in Rio de Janeiro last Fall I rented an apartment with one of the combination washers/dryers - but there were no instructions.  The rental agent was unresponsive, on this and other issues (like no wi-fi).
