Talking about freelance MBs and their asking prices, my experience is that MBs in commercial areas in Bangkok often ask for 2000 ST and quickly settle for 1500. Others, who are not MBs "by trade" but don't mind some extra income and often live outside these areas, tend to ask for 1000 ST. There are always exceptions though. I always find it interesting to read about prices on this board. I like the twinkies and usually get quoted ST between 1000 and 1500 baht. Depending on the location, it could even be less or for longer. The gay scene is very different from the girly bar scene but some tricks are universal I suppose. This video is about the girly bars but i wonder if this is going on in the male gogo bars, especially in Bangkok. What I wish would exist is a Gentelmen's club like those in Pattaya but with boys. After not being in Asia for over 2 years, I planned a trip to Cambodia during Songkran. As there are no direct flights between Europe and Cambodia, I opted for Thai Airways to get there and Singapore Airways to return home. Transfer passengers in Bangkok still need PCR test 72 hours before departure, so I did one, which unfortunately was positive 😭 Luckily I have only mild symptoms, comparable with a flu. Singapore Airways already refunded my plane ticket. I don't expect the same from Thai Airways. Booking for the resort in Cambodia already changed to April 2023. Unfortunately, no trip report to be provided right now.

I am arriving in BKK on Monday and looking for restaurant recommendations.... Definitely visiting the @vinapu rated 5* venue and will be taking the chicken and cashews. Where are the other reasonably priced star venues? I can go eat high end and I am sure I can get great food on the street - I am looking for those places that are not flashy or trying to hard. Patpong night market is GONE Went by Khaoson Rd on Sunday night...the club side was great....the other street with all the restaurants and massage parlors...super quiet and slow My favorite massage spot in the area didn't make it nor did the one I frequented near Patpong Great shopping as always, Chatuchak Market was lively and very busy on Sunday Malls are still amazing although MBK has also changed dramatically... I am planning my next trip out - possibly November but it strikes me that is peak season and because I am not really tied to dates, I might ahead out during the shoulder season, particularly as things are opening up. Although what this winter will bring in terms of new infections is anyone's guess. With that in mind, where do people think is going to be the best value?
