I know a few on the forum have stayed at Raya and would be interested to hear from them. I have checked out their web site and also read reviews on travel forums. May seem like a strange question but I'm fascinated to know why. Why do you prefer Bangkok over Pattaya ? Now I'm a City boy here in my own country but for many reasons I don't like the City of Bangkok when it comes to taking guys. Love to read some of your reasons, I guess there's a lot more muscular type guys in Bangkok where Pattaya has more twinkish ? I suspect there might just be a permanent cut in the number of gogo bars open after the economy has recovered from covid. Right now, one can go into a Bangkok gogo bar, buy a drink for 350~400 baht, then have a mamasan sit down to watch your eye movements and spot if you are looking at a particular boy (as happened in Fresh Boys). Depending on my mood, to counter this harassment, I either resort to random eye movements or ask them to go away. I have a boy coming over but he insists that I give him money upon arrival (before sex). Is that normal or the boy might be up to something I don't know about? In Vietnam, this kind of thing happened to several of my friends: the boy took money and just ran away (before they set off for a short-time hotel). Just wondering what apps to download ready for my Thailand & Phillipines trip. For transport I have downloaded Grab , not sure if Bolt is another one that operates ? For meetings I have downloaded Grindr & Hornet,not sure if planetromeo could be another one along with blued? Mid May, I planned a short visit to Bangkok after a business trip. Thailand Pass was easy to get, even if converting all pdf’s into jpeg made me waste some time. I’m a big fan of the Raya hotel on Surawong road, so I booked the Executive Suite on the top floor. It was a bargain for such a nice room : 2400 baht per night. A fire broke out late this afternoon at DJ Station on Silom Soi 2. The fire department knocked it down fairly quickly but smoke filled the area. It reportedly originated in electrical equipment. Soi 2 was closed off this evening.

I was in M2M, Jomtien Complex, tonight to watch their Monday show. It was good, highly energetic as usual. There is one dancer who looks hot and I think he's also the best dancer of the night. Just watched a YouTube vid of a guy entering Thailand, I was surprised to see all the passengers lining up for the "Thai Pass" desk on exiting the plane and then having to line up at immigration. Only once have I used the "Fast track" service on arrival , that was around 2016 and it was great, unfortunately my budget needs to be spent on guys ,however if it's the case where the line up is full I may have to consider using the Fast track service again. They can pick you up in a golf buggy directly from the plane exit and drive you to the terminal exit and you actually go thru a different exit ,like a VIP section which was very fast as I was the only one .
