Have you had a chance to watch "Grimm" on NBC on Friday nights? It's actually pretty good. Above is a link for the latest episode (for US viewers only unfortunately). I think this is really an interesting series as created by our own Sean Hayes.

According to Brazilian website Livepass, Paris Hilton will premiere her new single, “After Midnight” featuring LMFAO, on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show in June. Paris is scheduled to perform the track at the Pop Musical Festival in Sao Paulo on June 23, 2012. Last year, Paris said: “I have a recording studio in my house so any time I have free time I’m writing and working [on new music]. I’ve been working on this album for a really long time because I want it to be perfect. I recently changed the direction of the album. It was more pop before but now I’m getting rid of a lot of songs and going into a different direction with house music, so it will be a lot more dance and cl…

At the stroke of midnight, eastern time of course, young Justin Bieber turns 18. For these last few minutes, we can only admire his singing talents and his pro bono work for ill children. But, hopefully, someone close to him will nuzzle up in just 6 minutes and sing Happy Birthday!

"Call Me Maybe" by Carla Rae Jepsen. This is the ultimate pop song. It's moving up quickly on the pop chart. She was discovered by Justin Bieber and he signed her to his record label. I wouldn't post about the song but this video is cute and has a cute GAY twist at the end. . .

When I made my first trip to New York in late 1978, all the clubs were playing Donna Summer's version of "MacArthur Park", so much so that I could not get the tune out of my mind. Today, It's been announced that Ms. Summer has died of lung cancer at the age of 63. Farewell to the Queen of Disco.

Update: Retired police officer Dennis Jay Mayer and his partner, John Robert Hart, the gay couple arrested on the Atlantis Cruise ship in Dominica are speaking out about their experience, KTLA reports. "I'm not going to implicate myself one way or another, but we were charged with being naked on the balcony," he said. A photo shows Mayer and Hart, under police escort, being led from court to go to a bank to withdraw money for their fine, as a crowd of residents watched. Rather than tag this on to the low cost carrier thread, I'll open a new one - although I hope those who decide to book will still read that other thread. Until May 20, Air Asia is giving away 1 million seats throughout much of the route network at Bt. 0 per seat. The main caveat is that travel must be between 4 January and 22 May 2013. And given that fact, there are several more points to consider before taking the plunge. 1. Only some seats on some flights are available. So you may have to spend quite a bit of time checking your preferred route before you get a free seat. 2. Beware of almost certain timetable changes! We are now in the summer schedule period.…

Anyone watch the greatly hyped episode last nite of Glee in which Ms Lohan made a much anticipated appearance? If you blinked you would have missed her. and while onscreen for that bried moment, she was HORRENDOUS, poking fun at her own reputation and persona. Looking past that, the episode itself was good, with GREAT musical numbers and the talented Ms Leah michelle always shines. Spoiler Alert: New Directions WON at Nationals.....

As has been commonly reported, actor John Travolta is the subject of two law suits alleging that he molested masseurs, one in Los Angeles and one in Atlanta. The lawyer for the masseurs is seeking US$2 million in damages for each plaintiff. Well, what else would you expect his lawyer to say, whether his client is guilty or innocent! But wait! This may just be the tip of the iceberg, according to the plaintiffs' attorney Okorie Okorocha. But there is something about this lawyer that suggests to me it might be prudent to hold back judgement. Okorocha is a young Pasadena lawyer who said much of his practice is focused on going after sexual predators. He sai…

So tonight on NBC starts a new summer schedule with the premiere of "America's Got Talent". The buzz this year is the latest new judge, shock jock Howard Stern of SiriusXM fame. Will you be watching to see how shocking he gets? He does after all have more fines from the FCC than any other broadcaster in history. I for one will be checking it out tonight and tomorrow just to see how he does.

Alzheimer is one of the cruelest diseases of our time. What it does to its victims is beyond disturbing. Anytime I see a little light in the fight I like to highlight it. =========== A fundamental shift is underway in how scientists look for ways to ward off the devastation of Alzheimer’s disease — by testing possible therapies in people who don’t show many symptoms, before too much of the brain is destroyed. The most ambitious attempt is an international study announced Tuesday that will track whether an experimental drug can stall the disease in people who appear healthy but are genetically destined to get a type of Alzheimer’s that runs in the family. If so, it woul…

  22. One Million Moms to JC Penney: fire Ellen, she's gay By Joshua L. Weinstein | Reuters – Thu, Feb 2, 2012 LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - One Million Moms -- a project of the American Family Association -- is very angry at JC Penney. No, not because it sells sweater vests (heck, Rick Santorum is a fan of those), but because the Texas-based department store has hired Ellen DeGeneres as a spokeswoman. And DeGeneres is -- cue the scary music -- gay, and open about it. "Funny that JC Penney thinks hiring an open homosexual spokesperson will help their business when most of their customers are traditional families," the million (or so) moms write on their website. "DeGeneres …
