I am so glad that asnstudent agreed to meet me last night after his outcall massage session.
 
I met him outside the Tarntawan with my regular boy YY.

Arthur and Paul Hotel has everything you'll ever need. I've stayed there 3 or 4 times.
 
I've written about it extensively in my trip reports. It's 100% gay, clean and modern, with very friendly staff. The rooms are large and the bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in.

Fifth night - Jupiter
 
If I may, I'd say I prefer Jupiter to Moonlight.
- more relaxed environment (I questioned myself if it was because Moonlight was my first experience and it was not the bar itself but myself who might have become more relaxed -- and the answer is NO. I felt like Moonlight is more pretentious.. you may feel completely different. Please be aware that I have extremely limited experience..
- admission fee is the same as Moonlight - 400 baht
- boy's drink is also 400 baht.
- off fee is 500 baht for any guy (confirmed by one of mamasans who helped me tonight).
- almost every guy has tattoos somewhere on their bodies.
- I offed a boy (another baby face, with smooth skin and a great body).. mediocre performance in bed, but a very cute and nice kid from Vietnam, who claimed to be straight.. but seemed to know what to do to survive in this business.  he was one of a very few guys I saw at Jupiter tonight without any tattoos..

Mamasans are not in your face pesky queens but groomed as strategic salespeople, who collect customers’ Line and WeChat IDs to promote the bar. They’ve also cleverly found their niche (hunks, models, slick shows) and are milking it as much as they can, with other bars like Moonlight attempting to muscle in.
 
But don’t forget, investing money into bar promotion shaves profit from the bar owner’s pockets. Not many of them are far sighted enough to see beyond the immediate payday, which I think is an affliction the smaller bars suffer from. Maybe some of the owners think the bar has a finite lifespan and they just want to make as much as they possibly can before laying it to rest.

My third night turned out to be a much better one compared to the previous night. I had a massage boy outcalled to my hotel room. He was super cute (yet with a toned to slightly muscular body), attentive and not demanding at all.
Since he didnt demand anything, i decided to go out for a late dinner with him after we finished our "massage". We went to a nearby thai restaurant - Mango Tree. There is no way that we can ensure that our companions fulfill our desires. I've had had guys change from excited, sexy and friendly to cool and reserved in the five minute walk from Twilight to Tantawan.  And promises made in a bar in the search for payment are not necessarily kept. I may even venture to suggest that it may not always be the fault of the guy we choose when things don't work out.
 My advice to any newcomer is to be laid-back; we are not buying an item in a supermarket but borrowing a human being. Sometimes, it will be very satisfying, more often merely OK and occasionally a disappointment. We may be able to learn from our disappointments in some ways but the element of luck and chance will always trump anything that we plan.

Chemistry with boys is always a tricky thing. It involves 2 human beings and we know how complex human feeling can be. We each have a wide range of things that turns us on and off and sometimes those things are inter-related. Even the most simplistic things like muscular body vs skinny vs stocky/chubby, many people have different tolerance towards body type. And that tolerance can shift if it is compensated by say their face, or penis, or their height etc, which also have their own range and tolerance as well. 1. Don't be shy when dealing with the guys. They've heard, and seen, it all before.
 
2. If you're not sure how to proceed just leave it to your "friend.". He'll lead you through the experience. He will know exactly what to do.
 
3. As others have said, check your change.
 
4 If you decide to have drinks and some fun in the bar with more than one guy, keep an eye on what you are spending. It can add up very quickly.
 
5. If you are a bottom, do your "preparation" before you head out to the bars, not after you get back to the room.
 
6. Make sure you both know exactly what is expected in bed. Neither of you should end up surprised or disappointed.

I agree with this. I made the newbie mistake of overtipping (to me) the best looking guy in the bar and continued doing so on future offs- my wallet hurts, but it has earned me the assurance that he will be available to give me priority over other customers on future trips. Of course he is smart enough to know that he’s hit pay dirt, but it also means I have the choice of butterflying if it takes my fancy or being able to call up a boy who suits my taste in looks and in bed exactly.
