    2500 short time?...wow..these are Western prices !

So are many other things nowadays.

Take for example a small Singha Beer, in a beer bar. Usually 100 baht in Pattaya. That’s approx £4.40 per pint. Same as UK prices. Probably more in BKK.

Bangkok Gogo bar drink prices are way in excess of western bar prices!

  2. Their Facebook site hasn’t been added to for 15 months...it also says open from 23.00 to 08.00. And the hours on the chart look odd.

Is it really open until 08.00 these days? And why no comments since March 2021?

However I see in next few months they are charging around double that no doubt capitalising on their lack of competition for direct flights.

    A combination of reasons:

    1. In the next few months (July and August) flights always go up. UK family holiday season.

    2. Many people haven’t been abroad for a couple of years and may have some money to spare. Airlines are taking advantage of this.

Overall, if you can avoid the high season, prices in Economy aren’t too bad.

Could anyone confirm that the guys that are often posted on the BBB Facebook page represent the guys who can be offed? There's one guy with a blonde buzzcut who is definitely doing it for me.

I wouldn’t trust any website to have accurate pics of available guys. They can change in an instant!

i don’t see a blonde on the BBB website but there seem to be many BBB websites. See what I mean!!

Apparently, I m out of my depth. I thought pattaya was full of them, just like BKK....

Before Covid there were about 9 Gogo bars in Pattaya. Most have been closed for the last 2 years.

I understand from other forums that the following ones have allegedly reopened although I have yet to see many reports. I doubt they are the same as before Covid.

Nice Boys, X Boys, Dream Boys, Boyz Boyz Boyz, A Bomb, Winner.

  6. If you have never been to Pattaya it is a must. If only to see the gay scene there.

Have you considered a condo instead of a hotel? There are many available in Pattaya for short term rent. Rates at the movement are very reasonable. In March I was paying 550 baht per night all in.

If you are considering a long stay as you say, then Pattaya would fit the bill. Plenty to do during the day, beaches, Malls (yuck!) and other attractions.

In the evening many bars, Massage places, restaurants etc., and plenty of boys available. Hopefully some of the gogo bars will be open again soon according to some posts on the net.

And prices are much lower than Bangkok.

Some of us spend months there from November through to March.

With that in mind, where do people think is going to be the best value? I have been to BKK and Chiang Mai a couple of times and would like to spend some time at least somewhere else.

Are you saying you haven’t been to Pattaya?

If so it is the obvious answer!

  8. If women want to see guys on stage and maybe take them off why don’t they set up of bars for that purpose?

Why dont we see straight Gogo bars for women customers with guys on the stage?

This would avoid the necessity for women to go to gay bars to find their men and leave the gay bars for Gays.

    • Anutin says Thailand Pass may be scrapped, if Covid-19 continues to improve

. He said the Ministry of Health would continue to monitor cases over the next 1 – 2 weeks, and if they remain low, then they will consider scrapping the Thailand Pass for good.

    That will be the day!

How will enforce the Insurance Scam they have invented?

Is there any date for opening of the go go bars and other entertainment places currently under restriction?

I doubt we will ever see Gogo bars as before.

I read on one of the boards the other day that they are not going to issue any new Gogo licences or not renew any which have operated as other “venues”.

Looks like the days are over...there haven’t been any in proper Gogo bars in operation for over 2 years now.
