  1. Are there any shops where you can get a good 'no extras' massage? I haven't had much luck finding that.
  2. figured I’d try Sophia’s across from Dick’s. 100 baht for chicken basil with two fried eggs. Really good... Agree... I like Sophia's a lot!
  3. Good to know! Skytrain level is the 'B' Basement level?

    Fez 2026

Fez has the reputation of being the most traditional & religious city in Morocco so I would be surprised if you found any hammam or massage action. I visited there many years ago & I did not like the buttoned up atmosphere then. Also it was very difficult to visit the medina & the various souks without a guide as I prefer to wander around on my own. However, @speedoo1 is no doubt correct about Grindr!
  5. A lot of cutting remarks too!
  6. Back in 2023, shamelessmack had a number of detailed posts on Bali on his blog: https://shamelessmacktwo.travel.blog/ Might be helpful.
  7. Yes, that's what I am thinking!
  8. Excellent post! Did you go by yourself? Did you meet anybody? Did you dance? Thinks=twinks?
  9. I am looking forward to your report too. Safe travels, Christian!
  10. My favorite: While Titian was mixing rose madder, His model reclined on a ladder. Her position to Titian Suggested coition. So he nipped up the ladder and had her.
  11. Zing continues to be very busy. While I was checking in yesterday (about 2 pm), they turned away another customer without a reservation & told him that they were fully booked.
  12. Back in December, 2023, shamelessmack had better luck at Paradise Spa in Boyztown: https://shamelessmacktwo.travel.blog/2024/01/08/a-little-closer-to-paradise/
  13. Another one entirely: A Chinese woman was arrested & charged with the theft of 6 gold nuggets worth 1.5 million euro, which were stolen from the Museum of Natural History in Paris last month. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c62ez36ndp3o
  14. Wow, the Voice of Experience! Thanks for all the helpful advice.
  15. Interesting! Article in The Guardian on the painting: https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2025/oct/08/david-hockney-don-bachardy-christopher-isherwood-california-queer-art
  16. There is definitely the possibility of extras at many low-end, mixed masage 'foot massage' shops. One problem is that the massage will (probably) not take place in a private room but in a curtained off area of a larger space & that may put a damper on things. You will only find this out after you have agreed to do the massage. Also, not every guy in a shop like that will be willing to do 'extra' or might not be very skilled at it.
  17. I have done stops in London (twice), Vienna & Istanbul (also Seoul) on trips from NY to BKK & I agree that it is a better value than flying direct.
  18. @vinapu is right! I was forgetting that for this board's members, neither rain nor heat nor gloom of night (or a long walk) shall keep them from seeking some quality time with a handsome, young masseur! As for me, I am not as young as I used to be.
  19. I'd allow 30 mins from Silom Rd to get to either Prince or S'sense so a bit more than an 'easy' walk. Go down Convent Rd to Sathon Rd, cross the pedestrian bridge & then straight down Suan Phlu. S'sense is right on Suan Phlu & Prince is up Soi 6.
  20. Harris does seem to be settling scores left & right but the advance for a book by a prominent politician (even after a defeat) will probably be in the millions of dollars & it's free publicity after all.
  21. I would definitely be interested in your report. Maybe you should start a new thread?
  22. Older guys like myself may recall (dimly or otherwise) the 1950's-60's era of muscle magazines. Here is a nice article from the New Yorker looking back to that time: https://www.newyorker.com/culture/photo-booth/the-secrets-of-physique-magazines
  23. Very sad news! He was, as you say, quite popular in the 50's-60's, writing a lot of funny songs & performing. But then, around 1970, he just stopped & went back to his scholarly career. He is quoted as saying: Political satire became obsolete when Henry Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. I think that his decision to withdraw from writing & performing may be one cause for his obscurity.
  24. You're not the only one!
