Is 41 a lucky number?

I think it’s a reference to both old #41 at Freshboys who garnered a few comments on this forum during the last month but who recently retired, and also to the new replacement #41 at the same place.

New number 41 at Freshboys is 22 years old from Vietnam. Doesn't speak much English. It was his birthday 2 weeks ago and he invited my regular guy to his birthday celebration. "He's so young!" my regular guy, who is 28, said to me. "It's only 6 years difference," I said. I believe my regular guy is feeling insecure now that he is nearing 30.

Number 41's previous number was 39. I saw him on a Thursday night and had supper (and even played chess) with him and my regular guy after bar closed. On Friday and Saturday nights, he had offs!

Her Boston accent sounds like Suppah, @reader I'll bet you call it Suppah 🧐

There is debate in the UK over 'dinner', or 'supper'. Supper seems to be the more upper class way of describing a light evening meal. The more down to earth description  is 'I'm having my tea'!

The only meals I know are breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and supper. Any meal for me after midnight is considered supper.

But I believe for the guys who work at night and only go to sleep at dawn, a meal at midnight might be considered lunch or dinner.

for me any meal after dark is considered supper. I grew up in breakfast, dinner , supper culture, nobody wasted  time for lunch and dinner was eaten in tea time

it was dark = supper

For me tea time is basically 7/24, I'm big time tea drinker, ask any waitress/waiter  at world famous Unesco designated  Foodland Patpong

In England, years ago the 'working class'  referred to their evening meal  as 'Tea'. As in  ' I'm going home for my tea'.

Time to book a ticket for some cashew chicken?

not far that reason

last summer, shortly before my Aug trip ,  in found in my city center Thai restaurant I never tried before. All I can say their chicken with cashew nuts beats all I tried in Thailand so far so while there's 1276 reasons for me to book ticket , that dish as a case was removed from the list .

Still in Bangkok I have two leads , one from our member reader is Saphan Kwai area  and another  from Christian PFC in Lad Prao 101 I never tried before  so yes , I may change my mind I future - that pursue could be counted as reason # 1277

My spies from M15, KGB and CIA are reporting that Atlas is about to be opened , quite possible this weekend and it looks it will have go-go, not gym themed , bar format.

Hiring manager is definitely ' in the know" guy so it may be worth visiting and patronizing.
