December 31, 20241 yr I am in Cebu City, in the Philippines, and I was able to have 2 distinct Happy New Year countdowns. The first one from my 32nd floor balcony that overlooks the Cebu City and waterway that seperates Cebu island from Mactan island (where the international airport is). Since the Philippines is 1 hour ahead of Thailand - I shared my Cebu countdown via LINE with my *PMB back on Jomtien beach (11 pm their time). Then again at 1am Cebu time via LINE with my *PMB who was watching the fireworks from Jomtien beach at midnight Thai time. *PMB = Primary Money Boy - that I am now romantically involved with.

Only 180 days temporarily "moving" outside of Thailand for the next 2 biennial tax periods. By my age 69 no more temporary "moving" would be required. Plus I get to have the experiences to see what it is like to "temporarily live" in other nearby countries in Southeast Asia.
