One more stage shot from last night at Moonlight. Do any of the other bars allow photography? I was so surprised last night when they explicitly said you’re welcome to take pictures and even record video during the group round. Especially with that sign on the post in the middle that says no pictures. No photos or video were allowed during the performances though. Understandable.

That is Babe who has been the star of the bar for years. Based on his social media he is now a DJ and has been performing in public places such as Siam Square. Always good to plan for a second career. Although some boys like Nicky, similar to the Titanic, seem to go on and on

I am too, you’re usually not allowed to take photos of the floor boys. Maybe they liked you or you were a generous tipper

His name is Babe, born performer, very popular and still a star there. Khun I commented on is guy on the far right in the ' all models' picture

Haha no, I was quite frugal last night. Just the admission/one drink on my tab. No they explicitly made announcements and put messages on the side TV screens that you are allowed to take photos and record video during the group walk. The first time it was announced I figured they messed up the translation since it was in English. When they said it a second time, I was surprised... and then when I read it on the screens I definitely busted the phone out.

I had him sit with me because he was naked. My comment 'I didn't mind at all' referred to the fact that he was butt naked, not that he was on drugs.

But I soon realised he was on drugs, so I sent him away.

What advantage would there be in sitting and drinking with a guy you can't possibly communicate with and who is so drugged up that he just sits there with his eyes closed? That makes no sense at all.

I have no time for drugs. I have posted in the past about a regular guy I had in Pattaya over numerous trips. But on a return visit I saw him drugged up in his bar, and that was the end of our'relatiinship.'

You should be careful not to cast aspersions on posters based on false conclusions.

There's an entire devoted thread devoted to Moonlight on this forum somewhere. My favourite, Joey, has left for greener pastures. My other favourite, Babe, is still there on and off. (Babe is the shorter guy in your duo pic above. He may be short but, trust me, he's packing it.)

Maybe low season has hit hard and there's not enough boy drinks and offs hence they have allowed customers to take photo and video of the floor boys in the hope of promoting them to friends or letting customers remember how they look like, enabling them to come back to bar to off them.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your photos @aaroninatl I really enjoyed reading about your adventures. Far too few trip reports nowadays. People are just reading and commenting but not contributing any latest information.

No I went solo. I bought the ticket last week before I met #2. He wouldn't have been interested anyway. #1 went with me to the TV studio Muay Thai show but I don't think he enjoyed it all that much. And he had to work anyway.

Ticket was $75. But the cheap seats were like $40ish so for $35 more, it was worth it.

Glad to. You guys gave me tons of info to prepare me for this trip. I owed ya. I'll be back for Round 2 in Bangkok at the end of this month. I'll start a "Adventures of a Rookie in Koh Samui" thread over on that board for anyone interested.

Today was a low key day. Grindr #2 (Cambodian) and I met for lunch at an American place "Arno's". I think my palate has gone Asian because the burger and fries were way too greasy for me to enjoy. I NEVER leave fries behind. I think I ate about half of my order. The most enjoyable part was the salad. I asked my friends back home "Who am I? What have I become?" After we went to see the Spiderman movie at Paragon. I haven't been to a movie theater in forever... so it's probably not a new technology but the projections on the side walls is a cool new touch.

As for tonight, gotta pack and then we'll see where things go from there. I really just want to go back to see that smoke show guy at Jupiter. But I have plans for one more night with #2. #1 mentioned he had plans tonight but he just messaged me while #2 and I were at the movie. LOL I'm so not used to have this to deal with. You have no idea... haha takes me back to my 20s.

Then to Jupiter tonight you shall go!

Since you already know who you wanna off, you can go to entrance at 10pm and talk to mamasan to find out:

You're missing the point lol. #2 is still on Soi 4. I looked to see if I could find a different entrance. If there is one, I didn't see it. I'm back in a few weeks. Sounds like these guys stick around a while.
