I recently rode in the San Francisco to Los Angeles AIDS ride. It was 550 miles total over 6 days. I wrote a blog and sent e-mails to friends each day and some pics along the way. Since the journey made it way to the Beach in Pattaya via the gossip queens, I thought I would post my adventure here for all to read. This is very long and perhaps very boring for most so be forewarned that this post may take a while. BoT warns of new EU currency rules The Bank of Thailand has warned Thai nationals to take care in moving large sums of money into the United Kingdom and the European Union. Fire Severely Damages Room in Walking Street Hotel. Pattaya City News At around 2:30 on Friday morning fire brigade, police, and volunteers were called to the Jasmine Hotel in Soi BJ, off Walking Street, to deal with a blaze that had apparently broken out in a room on the fourth floor of the building. I am currently in Las Vegas. I have always enjoyed Las Vegas and it is always referred to as Sin City. But, it does not even compare to Pattaya. The boys here are charging 225 US for an hour and around 1,000 for overnight. The selection of boys are few and far between. Most of them work on the Internet. Years ago, there was an area of town to go and pick up on the street but that seems to have disappeared. The new mall, the largest in Vegas is fantastic and I spent most of the day there yesterday. Homeless Children Training Plan. On Wednesday a meeting took place in Pattaya City Hall chaired by Khun Woodhesuk, one of the deputy mayor’s, and attended by tourist police and district officers as well as some local business representatives to discuss the success of the first homeless children project which had been established last year.
