For the first time in five years, I visited Thailand again, albeit for only nine days. The first seven days I spent in Pattaya, the last few in Bangkok. I stayed at the Zing Resort in Pattaya and at The Raya in Bangkok. The Zing Resort is a simple but pleasant hotel. The staff is super friendly, no problem with guests and it's always nice to have a pool. The Raya: I was unlucky enough to have a room on the fifth floor (where the reception is), but they don't even bat an eye when you go up to your room with your boyfriend of the day. The bad relations between Thailand and Cambodia just got worse. The BBC and CNN report that early this morning both sides exchanged fire near the Khmer Temple Ta Muen Thom where tensions have been high for weeks. I am planning a return trip to Thailand in February/March and will be staying 6-8 weeks. Decided Thailand was a great place to avoid the harsh winters in Colorado. It appears that Singapore Airlines has the best deals at the moment flying from San Francisco. It's a non-stop flight from SF to Singapore. Having never been to Singapore or flown on Singapore Airlines, I have several questions maybe some of you can answer. Is one hour enough time in Singapore to change planes? Yet the vast majority of my pics are non-pronographic. Yet the sites keep being banned. The latest one that I have been using I discovered has been banned from today. Hey folks! I could not find information here about spa recommendations in Khon Kaen. I will be visiting for 4nights in December before continuing on to Bangkok.
