Well I'm not sure if we should share the info with you but us UK gays are starting a concerted campaign to persuade Kylie to remain here in the UK and not return home as she advertised she would be doing.   She SAYS she's going to jump back and forward between the two countries but we're not so easily fooled, we know this is the start of the "it's me not you" conversation and so urgent measures need to be taken to get her to change her mind - well we've decided either that or just removing her passport and holding her here against her will, we've voted and either option is currently considered as feasible and acceptable ! But the main thing is we feel it's important to address the REALLY pressing matters that affect gay mens live here while we have the chance.

Not forgetting of course that even if you're vaccinated or not there is a valid reason WHY they're closing everywhere and so putting yourself ( and then others) at risk if you catch or pass on Covid that you picked up somwhere like that by flouting the health advice / rules is something to consider too of course - if even just for your own health if nothing else.

No, I did not. Had you read my post you have have noted that it referred specifically to Bangkok with a lesser reference to other countries in Asia. I assumed from your post that you do not live in Bangkok. If I am wrong, then why did you post this in the Gay Thailand forum rather than a more general one?

Exactly, for us, medication and vaccines comes easy as we can afford it. Some of the boys cant even afford to be off from working due to flu because they wont make rent. Getting infected will spell a disaster to the boy, and might even be a death sentence to some. Cant believe we still have to advocate safe sex in this day and age..... especially to well-informed experience sex tourists.

Assuming you're double jabbed take care and enjoy your dat at Manchester, I've been several years in a row but gave it a miss this year as I CBA with the flights and it IS always jam packed with people and there would be trouble enforcing any form of social distancing even if they wanted to I think, especially later in the day when everyone's half cut.  
If not double jabbed personally I wouldn't be going anywhere near it for the above reason.  I've four friends who all tested positive after attending a Tom Jones outdoor concert here ( yes I know I cant think what possessed them to go either, I think it was just more a case of going SOMEWHERE for a night out".  The two of the unjabbed friends ended up in hospital straight after it ( one of them had it seems decided that she intended to ward off Covid in her own unique way using natural remedies and herbs it seems !! ).
The other two jabbed friends still got it but with very much less drama and no need for medical intervention other than paracetemol thankfully.  My point being, even at an outdoor event the four of them DID still pick up Covid.
Away from Covid I see there have been several protests this year re the management and "goals' of the Manchester Pride committee after they stopped giving out free comdoms and things, with the usual ( probably correct) cries that they're forgetting what PRIDE was MEANT to be all about and allowing it to become far to commercial etc, so Im sure that that's a debate that's going to run and run this year now perhaps.
