  1. Olddaddy - some time ago you wrote something in one of your posts that really bothered me - something like - what do all of the farang retirees do in Jomtien to pass the day - sit on their balconies looking out onto the sea..... Well, I moved to Jomtien from the EU in September 2022 as a new retiree - and after 6 months I became bored looking out onto the sea from my balcony. That was the HARDEST part of being a new retiree - how to repurpose ourselves? What is our new purpose in life. Out of the blue - my ex-boss from the EU called me on a day that I was really bored - he asked me what I was doing. I replied, I am busy counting endless seashells on the seashore..... He laughed and said to me - "Do you want a NEW chance to use your brain and be intellectual again?" I jumped at the opportunity and I replied with a resounding = YES. So, within a month I was back in the EU in early 2023 on a 4.5 month short retiree consulting contract using my brain and it felt so good to have purpose again..... After night after night sitting in the Supertown Jomtien Complex sitting and drinking I was rapidly becoming more and more depressed and becoming negative - and that is not me - I am usually a happy lucky guy with a lot of energy. The Supertown Jomtien Complex is made in a way that does not allow us to expend energy - the mantra is: "falang sit - falang drink" ==> and it you go against this program they get upset as I tried on many occasions to stand and even dance....The preferred Supertown program is for us to be sedentary and to spend our money....and I find this program SO boring and not stimulating.... So Olddaddy - I did not like what you wrote some time ago about retiring in Jomtien as I was SO confident that I would find a way after my new retirement to BOTH use my little brain down on the 3rd leg (which I did and often with great satisfaction) --> but the joy from using your 3rd leg brain does NOTHING for stimulating the real brain. Anyone who is already retired in Jomtien - what is your secret to find ways to stimulate your brain to give it intellectual input and challenges??
  2. BEST massage advice I have heard in a LONG time. I find the process of scoping out which masseur I want from the street - SO awkward and intimidating - especially when the more aggressive ones are barking for your attention and your eyes are set on the shy one....So, I will just now ask for a sample from the shy one and see how it goes...or perhaps ask for samples from all of them - hahahaha - give them something to do instead of blindly looking into their phone apps in an endless zombie state of mind...
  3. Dear newtobangkok123, I just returned from a 17 day trip to the deep south of Thailand (Songkhla and Phatthalung provinces) and the terminology that many of the guys that I met in Twitter and Hornet used the following terminology to identify the expected services: Outside = soft - handjob and happy ending. Outside can also include oral sex. --> what I learned is that "Outside" is anything that is not about anal sex penetration Pricing for Outside activities was between 500 baht to 1.000 baht - with the majority at the 1.000 baht range. Inside = anal sex penetration - the masseur will identify if he is Active (Top - Man), Versatile, or Passive (Bottom). Pricing for Inside activities I was quoted in the 1.500 to 2.000 price range. The above pricing schedule was quoted to me by guys from Songkhla, Hat Yai, and Yala for both Thai Buddhist guys and as well as Thai Muslim guys. I did not meet or visit any of the massage shops - there are 3 in Hat Yai. All of my connections were made using Twitter and Hornet.
  4. I wanted to give an update on this lamination service. I just completed the renewal of my 1 year retirement visa and I again returned to this lamination print shop in Pattaya - where they created for me an ID Card - where on the front is the ID portion of my passport and on the back is the updated retirement visa stamp. Very cheap - I believe that I paid 150 baht for 2 laminated ID cards. I upload their business card (below) - the shop can be easily found on South Pattaya road shortly after the Friendship Supermarket walking in the direction of Sukhumvit Road - on the same side of the road. Have I ever had to use this ID card for a police check in Thailand = NO. But I feel comfortable with it in my pocket (they size it down so it can fit in your wallet - credit card size) instead of having to carry my passport with me. Ironically, I had to use it once in the metro system in Budapest for the renewal of my monthly transit card - as they recognized it as an actual ID card instead of my Hungarian retirement ID card. How strange. So, it can have a use outside of Thailand.
  5. If we off one of the Coyote Dancers from your place while at your event - do we pay you the off-fee ? 😁
  6. and he is SO sexy and kind......I remember that wonderful dinner :>)
  7. I live part-time in Thailand as I am semi retired as my former employer keeps calling back to Europe for some short work assignments (3 to 4 months at a time). I will be going to visit the Songkhla area at the end of this year - with an eye open to see if I would want to relocate from Pattaya and live there next September 2024. So, it would be nice to know that someone from this forum would also be down there - even though I would arrive 2 months prior to you to "set up camp..."
  8. The Italian version, La Cage aux Folles: Il Vizietto (1978), was also very good. Unfortunately, I could not find it with subtitles.
  9. Wow Vinapu, the "special" suitcase is featured in 2 of the 6 photos (1/3) that you posted above.
  10. Finally - I've been waiting so long for you to post your Day 12 report - as I wanted to know if you managed to surprise and actually meet your sexy HC birthday boy. Bravo!! You invested a lot in him and I am happy that you had another happy ending with him. One thing for SURE Vinapu - not all ATMs are equal. Yours is the most prettiest and generous :>))
  11. It was great to see you again @vinapu - and to catch up on so much news in our respective lives. And thanks to you I got to know another forum member, @Tartegogo. It was great to share the X-Boys go-go boy experience together, just for the sake to know that in Pattaya that there is a nice alternative to the BoyzBoyzBoyz show. X-Boys facebook page Another Vinapu first for me, was to watch my friend Toon (the BoyzBoyzBoyz outside captain) go into complete laughter in Vinapu's presence. I was quite surprised, as sexy Toon is usually composed. I asked him, what is so funny? He replied, your friend is the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) guy. This gave Toon so much amusement. Vinapu took it well - as I have read in many prior forum posts that Vinapu has had this KFC experience elsewhere in Thailand.
  12. Hi Reader, What should we do in the case when the guys specifically ask us to give them publicity in these forums? A few minutes ago on the other forum, Sawatdee, a fellow forum member asked us to recommend the best massage shop in Jomtien. I posted a picture of my favorite shop using a photo that was given to me by that shop - as their owner/boss recently refurbished the shop and bought all of the guys a new type of massage shop team shirt. The team posed for the photo and I was asked to publish it as I told the guys that this question was being solicited in Sawatdee. I would hate that we cannot help our local guys when they ask us to do it. In my post - nothing sexual was written - no names were given - just an honest opinion about this massage shop.
  13. Yes of course!! Since we have similar tastes in men :>)) I cannot wait to hear your trip report after you have already been with Zack at the Kmanspa.....
  14. and now you have a new suitcase after the Cambodian mystery trip :>))
  15. https://joooint.com/en/shops/450-SUPERMAN/images https://ssupermsg119.wixsite.com/ssuper119 I would write to them - they have LINE contact. This is how I turned 12 days in South Korea into a GREAT journey. These guys who manage these massage shops in Seoul - have HUGE lists of contacts and I am sure that they can access some of the famous South Korean twinks. It is up to you to make the first move.....
  16. Vinapu, I would add to your list, those of us who choose to retire here to continue all of what is written above - because it is cheaper than in our home countries, the weather is better, the food is great, the beaches are wonderful. Furthermore, the big gay retirement community that is here gives us a sense of happiness and security knowing that we can avoid the assisted care centers back in our home countries, that might require us to go back into the closet for the last years of our lives. Instead, we can die with dignity, having our Thai guys take care of us until the bitter end - in my mind, this Thai type of assisted living care is SO much better than the back home version and is affordable. Last year, my mother died in assisted living care (she was there for 3 long years), and it was costing us between $7,000 to $9,000 USD each month - truly outrageously expensive. The assisted care center was nice - but very mechanical and mundane in its approach - not the way that I want to finish the last years of my life - so, Thailand it is for me.
  17. Back in 2017 I visited South Korea and what I did was to contact various massage shops ahead of time where I corresponded with various managers who were able to: hook me up with masseurs who were willing to also be my tour guide, hook me up with massages after the daily tour was completed - this included arranging a massage with someone from north of the border who was living in Seoul, hook me up with a masseur/tour guide - all in one - where we could sleep together and go on side trips outside of Seoul. The reason that I went this route was that I could not find anything comparable to what we have here in Thailand (Bangkok / Pattaya). I was VERY satisfied with all of my arrangements - but the fees to make it happen was on the high side - as the masseurs were often playing a dual role and organizing transportation, tours, and massages with extras.
  18. Whatever may keep you away from us in Thailand - please know that your heart and never ending kindness will be sorely missed. Wishing you all the best Vinapu!!
  19. Do you know if this Dragon Man Club Pattaya is related to the Dragon Music Lounge Pattaya found in the Jomtien Supertown Complex ? Their dragon shaped logo/emblems/marquees appear to have the same look. on the left is the marquee of the club raided by the police in Pattaya city and on the right is the marquee of the lounge in the Jomtien Complex.
  20. and this, Vinapu, is what made the 2nd part of your trip a blast - CCP's substantial monetary loss became the gain for the guys in Thailand - and I am sure that you brought many happy smiles with that sum....
  21. wait until they figure out to calculate our individual carbon footprints - then the tax will be relative to our individual carbon footprint scores.
  22. Lucas, from the Pattaya Youtube channel = Rides 4 Kickz, just posted a 2023 Burapa video - from the point of view of someone who rented a booth in the marketplace. He also shows some of the daytime events.
  23. Burapa – 2023 – Back to the Culture – Ride for Peace motorbike parade Background Being a new retiree in the Pattaya / Jomtien area I am trying to experience many of the unique Thai cultural events that take place in my new home country, Thailand. This report is about the annual BURAPA Bike Week event that takes place each year (except during the pandemic years) in Pattaya. How did I find out about this unusual event? I am a member of the PCEC (Pattaya City Expats Club) and on 11 January 2023, Richard Rhodes, one of the founders of Burapa, was invited to give a talk about their annual event. Pattaya Mail article about the PCEC presentation of BURAPA I do not own a motorbike and I barely know how to drive one. So, I was not driven to see this event because of that but instead to see/learn about a different kind of not well known Thai happening. The below PRIME video gives a good summary of what they are about. Prime Video - Burapa: Bikers of the East Logistics I don’t own a car or motorbike, so, with 2 of my local friends (Thai / Laos – they were featured in my earlier New Year’s week events posting here), we took a BOLT taxi to the event. My Thai friend has a car – but he wanted to be able to drink and that is why we took a BOLT taxi. The Burapa Bike Week event is held at the Eastern National Sports Training Center in what the locals of Pattaya call, β€œthe dark side” = Eastern Pattaya – east of the railroad tracks. Below map indicates where it is on the right hand side. It was a 120 baht fare from the Jomtien Dongtan beach area, and took about 35 minutes. Unfortunately, Google took us on a wild goose chase where for the last part of the trip it sent us on long and windy dirt roads that circumvent the northern part of these large grounds in true darkness – as there were no street lights. However, there was a ton of traffic – so it was slow going. For the return trip back to Pattaya – we made the mistake of trying to get a BOLT taxi from the northern point that we entered at – which is dark and on a dirt non asphalted road. The first 2 BOLTs that we called gave up – even though my 2 friends who can speak Thai tried to navigate the BOLT drivers to where we were – it was just too dark to find us – even though there was a ton of traffic all around us. So, now I know where the β€œDark Side” of Pattaya originates from. I prepared the below map for all of you so you can avoid our mistake – which was caused by Google navigation that the original BOLT driver used. I strongly suggest that you arrive and depart this event from the SOUTH part of these grounds on the well lite Chaiyaphruek 2 Road. See the below 2 exit points indicated in green. The third BOLT driver that eventually found us where the above RED X is indicated on the below map – explained to us that for future visits we should always wait for a taxi on Chaiyaphruek 2 Road – as it is asphalted and well lite. Our trip back to Pattaya (Jomtien) was a breeze and quick. Ride for Peace On the third day of this 3 day event was the annual, β€œRide for Peace”, where hundreds of motorbikes drive from the fairgrounds in eastern Pattaya down Beach Road in Pattaya City, and then continue onwards to Jomtien Beach Road and then return to the fairgrounds. So, around 3:30pm, yesterday (11 Feb 2023), with my 2 friends we walked over to the Police Box at the beginning of Dongtan Beach to wait and watch for the arrival of the motorbikes. Some had said that 500 would come – but I estimate that around 200 motorbikes passed us on Beach Road. It was kind of exciting – more for the surprise of the many unaware tourists who were going about their beach business and for all of the bahtbuses that were blocked from moving until the 200 motorcyclists had passed by. This made me aware of the fact that this event is not well advertised / known outside of the motorcycle community. We even asked the local motorcycle taxi guys if they knew when the parade would start and they did not even know what we were talking about. So, my Thai friend went into the Police Box and they told us that they were already on our way as they had already left Pattaya City and were heading for Jomtien. In about 10 minutes the entire thing was over. Below is a photo from the short film that I made (notice the motorcyclist riding with a LARGE live snake). Fair Grounds This place is HUGE – so dress accordingly – in shoes/sneakers that are good to walk in and you do not mind walking in the dirt. They laid down hay everywhere to reduce the dust and this was very effective. The main attractions are: The two BIG concert areas – structured on opposite sides of the fair grounds. One is exclusively Thai rock bands and the other one is foreign falang rock bands coming from the UK, Australia, USA, and Europe. There are plenty of places to sit and/or stand to watch the concerts and nearby are places to buy drinks (Chang beer was one of the main event sponsors), including cannabis infused drinks, like ganja. Performance area – where the motorbike guys show off their very interesting motorbikes – they slowly ride back and forth amongst the crowds. It makes this event very exciting – as if to be in a movie or Medieval or Renaissance festival. There were many sexy motorbike guys – especially the young ones. Market place – this was my favourite part of this festival. On the outer perimeter of the above mentioned areas, there are these narrow winding dirt paths FULL of individuals / organizations selling their wares. Including; t-shirts, leather wear, motorcycles – even Italian Vespas, Harleys, etc., pottery, knitwear that was very ornate and detailed – some of it was in native Indian style, places to eat, cannabis, tattoo shops, jewelry, food, drinks, opportunities to have your photos taken with various artistic types with a motorcycle emphasis, chances to sit ontop of horses and have your picture taken with native Indians (Thai people), visit Indian tepees, boot shops, etc. I was totally amazed of the potpourri of offerings that were available in this marketplace, as I had never seen anything like it before in my life. In conclusion, would I go again? YES, but I would be better prepared – from a transportation point of view. Also, since this event is held over 3 days, I would try to arrive earlier – we arrived around 7pm – to instead arrive around 4:30pm – just to see some of the daytime shows and to see what the fair grounds look like during the day. I highly recommend this event to all of you. Note that the entire access to the fairgrounds is FREE – great value for money. You only spend if you want to eat/drink or buy merchandise. The concerts and entertainment are ALL free. I share some of my pictures below.
  24. Great analysis - from a budget point of view. It puts what I pay my offs into perspective - thanks for sharing this valuable monetary statistic with us!! I only met you for a fleeting few seconds when you passed through the Jomtien Complex - and I have to say that 4 or 5 orgasms is quite impressive. Bravo!!! I wish that I had that kind of stamina!!
