With the advance of social media and forums...
How much is too much information to share...I like reading info on peoples trips and suggestions but what is considered too much info...
I never say names or post face pics of any of the guys that I have been with or tell too much info where somebody would be bale to figure out who I am talking about...
Being vague can be a good thing...
But I want to know from others what is too much information or too little information to tell...

If the guy advertises publicly somewhere, like viva local, anything goes, except what he is not giving in his ad. For example if he doesn’t have a face pic, then it would be out of order to post a face pic of that guy. 
For grindr guys, I wouldn’t post anything that reveals his identity, but would be happy to describe the sex in detail, purely for entertainment, though, because I don’t expect anyone to find the same guy, grindr is not fixed, it shows people depending where you and they are, unlike an ad. 
For sauna guys, I feel the real identity of the guys is out of order, so no face pics unless you have explicitly asked permission. But their sauna name is not their real name, so I have no issue posting that and the details of the sessions. After all they are selling a service which is legal, and we should be able to know who is good in the cabin, and who isn’t. We can only do that if we ID them by their sauna name. And the only people who will be able to find them from these posts are people going to the sauna, which to me is just like talking to another patron at the sauna itself.

Recently, I visited the new sauna in Rio that other posters here rave about: Manhattan Rios. On what is touted as its busiest night, I was in and out in 15 minutes. Hated it! IMHO, it was like Meio Mundo — in my book, a negative — nothing but twinks and at most, regular-looking guys off the street — which isn’t MY idea of a good time. But that’s just MY opinion. If others like the place, knock yourself out. I don’t need to go back again to decide the place isn’t worth my time and money. But I don’t begrudge others for liking what they like.

Wow. Rio has 3 happening central saunas com garotos (202, 117, Manhattan Rios), 1 still kicking central sauna (Meio Mundo), and 1 happening outskirt sauna (Bangu). Sao Paulo, which is almost twice as big, has only 2 saunas. What's happening? It can't be just the tourist trade that makes the difference with Rio. Are we missing other saunas in SP? Are there any on the SP outskirts, Alterosas being long gone. Are there any in Santos or Campinas and should those be included?

Tonight (Thurs) 117 little more than a one-horse town at 6, but picked up fairly substantially with several familiar guys and a smattering of new fellows. A reasonable number worthy of naughty sandbox play. Nice time. I think several lads left with no cash for their trouble.

Belo Horizonte   Really had a great time in Belo Horizonte last weekend. Immediately impressed by the friendliness of the locals during our first time visit to the city. Rented an apartment located in the city centre less than a couple of minutes walk from both Olimpo and 1097 Sauna. Felt safe walking around the immediate area of our apartment, mostly due its central location.  Favelas appear to be located outside the city centre so this might have something to do with it as well. An abundance of good restaurants and bars located in short walking distance, all making our time in BH very easy indeed.   Olimpo and 1097 are located less than five minutes from each other.  The two saunas offer very different yet enjoyable experience.  1097 is rather basic establishment offering good working sauna and steam room, a couple of ground floor lounge areas, friendly bar and upstairs cruising area with several free rooms.  These rooms are very basic containing plastic mattress without linnen. Went there early on Sunday evening when the place was chocked full of young brown skinned guys, lots of which were walking around naked with their extended manhood on display. Certainly worth a visit if favela guys are your preference.   In complete contrast Olimpo offers luxurious facilities in probably the best appointed sauna we have visited in Brazil.  Excellent sauna and steam room, high class suites, lots of cursing areas to explore on both floors of the venue and plenty of places to unwind and relax.  Some of locals spend their time playing cards in the lounge area which add to the laid back feel at the sauna, along with most friendly bar staff. A wide variety of good looking guys on offer, certainly of a higher standard than what we saw in Specifico. Was told by a customer that the average price is 70 although one guys did offer his services to us for 50.   Visited Olimpo each evening from Thursday to Sunday. i think it is not a black or white issue, when someone retires to a geographical location it is not just about the cost of living or the availability of rent boys, especially if you have a income that doesn’t require you to live cheaply! For example if i was to retire to Brazil(i am not), i would live in Porto Alegre! My friends go “Why”? there is no beach, the sauna is only good 2 days a week, etc.  It’s because i like it there!  for some logical and some not so logical reasons!  All of us are different in how we view a place or people  :-)

I am planning a short trip to Colombia, first time ever, with my husband and trying to decide between Cartagena (better for my husband as it would be a beach hotel with just some trips into town for sex), Medellin (my favorite, mostly sex) or Bogota (sex and a bit of visiting, I guess).
