  1. I met a Gigolo in Pereira who was marketing in Grindr. 29 y, cute and wild combined, originally from Santander area. He does Chaturbate and few other webcams, models and takes acting classes. 2-2,5 hours in a motel was 250 cop, which included tip. He was great, I suspect he works mostly with ladies or is just a talent, since he took much better care of me, than onlyfans 23 y young fit medellin guy or 28 y muscled bogota guy/insta addict. They both were so self centric and own body focused! Maybe they are just young and not experienced. I negotiate with him now the overnight. Its a bit dissapointing from the gay movement perspective that bi/hetero gigolo provides best sexual experience 😀. He had some money issues with the web platforms so he is not working currently. But damn, he is a natural sex bomb, but staying humble and smart. The motel was fun as well, drive-in without any staff contact, doors are opened remote, you are told number of the entrance (there are ca 30 rooms!), you drive near your number (taxi, uber), doors are opened and you drive into “garage”, then leave the car and enter the suite, car leaves, all doors are closed, no windows. When leaving, same routine vice versa. Money is passed through the blind box. You can leave only when bill is paid and your transport has entered to the garage. Cannot walk around - highest level of privacy I have ever seen. Clean, nice bed, shower, jacuzzy (which we used minimal because time is sex, not pool). Cheapest suite which is absolutely sufficient - 5 hours 89 COP. Minibar and food if you wish. 4 km from Pereira. Hotel Amasis, check the web.
  2. sounds interesting! I am going to Colombia (Medellin, Bogota---and? Catagena or Cali?) for the first time. I am normally very into the brasil guys and the sauna scene in Rio... I am bit disappointed by the guys I found in webpage. I am more into the muscled guys...and I think they only work in front of a cam.... If anyone hase recommendations ...let me know. I have some contacts to guys from chaturbate and they ask for a lot of money! One asked for 500 US per hour..... What do u pay for the chaturbate-guys?
  3. I am not sure if anybody here will recommend a specific trainer but there are multiple Bodytech branches in Bogotá, and I think throughout Colombia, so that might be a solid starting point. In Brazil for longer stays I have tended to go to a conveniently located and reputable gym and started on my own while able to quickly identify a good trainer for my visit. Sheepish confession: I found poppers at a sex shop in Chapinero and took a mild sniff or two at St-Moritz Spa but did not find the sensory vasodilation to be particularly value-added. The turn-on with the guy was already plenty. I have tried very few chem things and always basically just once. I also lusted after, but never met, a young physique competitor in Brazil who died not long ago, apparently due to a ‘cardiac episode’. He once did a Rio model shoot outside the now closed also ran JE-showran Lions venue at the intersection of Gloria and Lapa. Obviously I don’t know the specific details, and profound exertion may have been a factor, but anabolic steroid use can be implicated in a serious adverse cardiac event.
  4. Very true. For other Latin Americans, Colombian Spanish represents a superior form which is more refined, more classical than the ones they actually speak. The Colombian Spanish dialect came to be that way because the Colombian capital of Bogota, even as a Spanish colony, was an important viceroyalty, important enough to acquire its own university for higher learning, as well as other cultural and religious institutions. This meant the arrival of clerics, academics and administrators from Spain, many of whom spoke an educated variety of Spanish. This was important and influential in the development of the Colombian Spanish dialect.
  5. I did a lot of walking up and down steep hills before my trip and it really made a difference. Especially on a coffee farm I visited. I found the downtown centre of Manizales, near Pereira, had a lot more character. But the people in both cities were wonderful, as they were in most places in Colombia I went to. Bogota was the only city where it was like most big cities in the world.
  6. Just curious, I have been to the DR many, many times but thinking of Columbia. Is it fair to compare Pereira prices to a capital like Santo Domingo? Bogota or Medellin I would not question. But, this feels like comparing New York to Scranton PA. Just wondering
  7. Updated March 23 - 2023 The merger between Avianca and Viva (which started this entire mess) was finally approved yesterday. No idea if Avianca intends to reintroduce budget fares via the Viva brand, but I was shocked to see a Viva plan take off at El Dorado - Bogotá yesterday. Stay tuned.
  8. Instagram - @fiestasgaycolombia If you looking for upcoming gay events across Colombia, this Instagram account publishes current, upcoming events in major cities like Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Bucaramanga, and Cartagena.
  9. Cartagena only if you like sticky hot weather in a city. Beaches are not too nice and you need to commute (boat, car) somewhere for a nice beach. Old city is nice. Friend of mine says Hilton Cartagena has own ok beach, no vendors getting on your nerves, he likes spending time there. If we exclude romantic affairs, I liked mostly central areas like Pereira, Salento, Cocoa valley (excellent hiking), Guatape, Santa Rosa de Cabal thermal waters. I will try next time Tayrona Park, Cali and some parks not too far from Bogota. Pereira Salamander Sauna was interesting, mostly rather empty, but always few hot guys ready for action. I saw one young and very attractive massage guy but I was ready for that day. I was never bored in Bogota and it has many cool places just to hang around, lots of students. Medellin is surprisingly touristic and only place where I saw something like a crime - kids stealing something/running away and police chasing them, it was 3am Sunday morning in a center which was filled with semidrunk tourists (me included)😀. But its true - the weather and the scenery is beautiful.
  10. I am hoping to get some suggestions and comments regarding my first trip to South America, which will start in early Sept 2023. This being my first trip to South America, I will take a group tour (already booked) to visit Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Peru was included in my initial plans, but with the current situation there, I have now dropped that from the countries I will visit. This is 2-week tour covering 3 countries. The tour starts in Santiago, Chile, then on to Argentina and ends in Rio. I wish to tack on a couple of cities before the tour starts and then stay over in Brazil for few more days after the group tour ends. I have been to a few of the Asian countries and was in Bangkok in mid-February of this year. I have never been to South America, so this will be my first trip. I have read several posts here from those who have been there and rave about the time they have had. I have also read that there is security issue in a number of cities, so one has to be aware of that: mindful of the surroundings and also when meeting individuals outside of places that can be considered to be more safe (eg saunas). I am thinking of the itinerary outlined below. Does anyone have suggestions on what I should add (days and cities) or exclude (or shorten amount of time) in the cities outlined? I will truly appreciate feedback from those who have been there before. Outside of the group tour, my plan is to stay in a city longer than a couple of days. So not planning to pack in too many cities, where I would only stay for 1-2 nights. Currently planned: Fly to Medellin from Western Canada Medellin: 10 days Bogota: 4 days Santiago, Chile: 2 days prior to start of group tour Group Tour of Chile, Argentina and Brazil 14 days (booked already) Rio: 10 days after group tour In between the stay in Rio, visit São Paulo for 4 days Fly back from Rio to Western Canada I will book the international flights once I have somewhat finalized my plans. Thank you!
  11. Back to South America topic … The Avianca flights BOG-GRU (mid Jan) and GIG-BOG (mid Feb) were great, only $625 USD combined price, very roomy, the best seats (bulkhead in my case), again as business class for most of the western hemisphere has given way to the new 2-2 configuration with the middle table first few rows. At that price, bringing snacks or buying on board not an imposition. Lounge access El Dorado due to the highest flight fare class, but not at Galeão. Air Canada business class to Bogotá return was merely $1150USD. Air Canada business fare to São Paulo was running $7000USD for similar dates, twice the distance for 6 times the fare price, no thanks. The itinerary ultimately worked out well, for both multiple destination goals and savings.
  12. Noticed the same in Colombia in January. Actually needed a mask to clear customs/immigration at the Bogota airport, fortunately I had some handy. Needed masks to go through most security at airports, then inconsistent after that. Some Latam flights had to wear a mask for the entire flight and others almost nobody wearing a mask. Most secure areas in airports people not wearing them. But like you saw people running to get masks so they could board their flight.
  13. IN Medellin and Bogota, the boys are hot, cheaper, better hung (in general) and quite passionate. Condoms are rarely brought up when you fuck. Many will still try to make you their BF, they are poor and hungry. Poverty is bad, they have a huge influx of refugees from Venezuela, and poor indigenous peoples. I will go back. Exercise a little more safety caution when out and about..... not as safe (IMHO) as Thailand.
  14. Have you tried Google Fi, guys? I think you have to be residing in the US to get access. It worked quite well in Bogotá, this April I will try it in Rio.
  15. It’s saintmoritzbogota for the main site … likely an error in the banner ad or not yet up & running. But even the main site banner ads for Bogotá depict saintmoritzsauna, so an error there as well or perhaps they are in the midst of organizing two web pages or one web page that is neutral in terms of the two locations.
  16. imho: The good looking guys are all in Medellin but don't speak much English and Sauna Tobi's long gone, RIP. But they do give a 50% discount. You may want to add a quick rt from BOG there. Ask anyone in Bogota and they'll tell you the people in Medellin are much better looking and Medellín has sunshine, a rarity in Bogota. But it's one of the world's largest cities. Half the guys on Chaterbate are in Medellin and you can usually arrange meetings. Some may really be in Bogota, IDK. Bogota has much more easy action but the guys are "real pros" for the most part, especially in the massage parlor saunas. Somehow 100K in English translates into 200K in Spanish. IDK. The Holiday Inn Express is a very nice hotel on the north end of the gay district on the main street. Hotels in the gay district can be a lot less than "nice". Personally I stay in the downtown high rise hotels because their taxis are cheap and reliable (as opposed to many on the street). It's also close to the museums and easy for a taxi ride up that mountain. *Do not miss the Gold Museum whatever*. And the Botero museum is excellent and has his collection of famous art given to him as a fellow artist by the best artists.
  17. … DIY excursion north of Bogotá. Vid 90 seconds. The site does not seem to want to load it, or it may just freeze at points. I was going to delete but perhaps it will play for some. FullSizeRender.MOV
  18. A pleasant morning taking the funicular option up there … FullSizeRender.MOV
  19. I don’t recall such. It would have been of some interest to me. However, I did post info a while back specific to Brazil where they are prolific and have some ad infrastructure. That may be the memory you seek jogging for. I did post a little bit of info about Bogotá, having utilized Motel Las Palmas in Chapinero, around 62 and 14. There is a cluster on that block.
  20. Others I am certain will correct me, but the strippers (fully nude) at Theatrón in my experience are Saturday nights consistently. Friday used to be mixed company in the Lotus (top level) bar but that seems to have changed so maybe they are having strippers both nights. Did not go when I was in town last. Colombians like to go out late, but bars in the city of Bogotá must close at 2am by law. So the greatest action is from 11pm onward on Fridays and Saturdays. The club in only open Thurs - Fri - Sat and the odd Sunday when a national holiday falls on a Monday. Best check ahead -- Colombia has lots of holidays from April onward it the calendar year.
  21. Money: there are plenty of ATMs at the airport. Pick an ATM of BBVA or davidienda bank, they don't charge any fees. Do not accept the money exchange rate, it's always a lot worse than what your bank will charge you. I would just take some cash with you as backup, but not exchange anything in advance. Sim card: you can buy a sim card at the airport. In the arrival hall, take the escalators to the 2nd floor. There's a small shop on the corner that sells phone covers and accessories. The provider claro has the best coverage. My claro sim card with 10gb data for 2 weeks was 45k COP. Last time, a taxi driver from the airport tried to scam me and asked for 100kCOP for a short ride to Chapinero. Bogota taxis don't show you the price of the ride, just a number of 'units' and you are supposed to calculate the price yourself. You can install an app called 'Calculadora de Tarifas' to calculate the cost based on those units (or always use apps like cabilfy / indriver / didi / uber / ..)
  22. I’m travelling to Colombia for the first time, arriving in Bogota on 6 February. To get the most from my money, which is best: - buy pesos here in the UK, currently Post Office offering a rate of 5226.95 and John Lewis 5226.92 - use my Halifax clarity card and use ATM when I arrive? (I usually prefer to do this but wouldn't have any cash on me initially) - take GBP and exchange over in Bogota - take US dollars and buy over in Bogotá - though I don’t have any and would need to buy some $ here Probably looking at £1000 I’m wanting for my holiday. Also, any recommendations on SIM cards and easy to follow guides on where to buy? I’m wanting lots of free data for 2-3 weeks (phone, streaming, video calls etc). Also, if anybody is in town please get in touch if you fancy meeting up to explore the city or a beer. Many thanks in advance
  23. Took one for the team. Based on a single weekend day visit, really nothing to recommend it. However, if you have the time it’s perhaps worth it to see for yourself. There was one explicitly available massajista, a little older and I think danced at Gigolo Erotic House, but I did not pursue as had been getting some just fine at St Moritz. I did not confirm, but two young slim locals may have been providers. Bigger table in the one massage space, a space also substantial in size compared to St Moritz but no evidence of sheets or a more than the typical fragmentary terry cloth towel to lay down on the vinyl. It seemed quiet but there were two dozen + locks tallied in the locker room. Didn’t see any evidence of private rooms for client action. Then realized all attendees were crammed into either the small darkroom, the steam, or the sauna. It was chilly (I often had hotel heating cranked up) and perhaps the customers lack home heating and head there to warm up. Über 30 minutes and merely COP15,000 base each way. Seemed to be a love/sex motel street. Vibrant neighborhood Venecia. If one conceptualizes a distance triangle where Chapinero is the first point, then airport n/w and Venecia s/w are approximately equidistant remaining points.
  24. I was there 51 weeks prior to you, same fellow’s Saturday birthday celebrations. I never returned, though in São Paulo fairly extensively subsequently. But the gogos were fun. Did you stay long enough for the show and that night’s lineup? That said, you may have experienced stage shows at Lagoa or Hot House anyway. This year skipping Sampa. It’s Bogotá, Rio, and Recife. The latter is due for a bit of forum update.
