In Australia a packet of cigarettes is about 1000 baht!!!! So at the moment there is a huge problem work shops everywhere selling illegal ones for around  500 baht. So much so that many shops and supermarkets no longer sell legal cigarettes.

In Western Australia they are now cracking down on illegal sellers and they get closed down for 90 days if caught. And it seems to be working.

 

I was going to comment about the 1000 baht cigarettes in Australia but you beat me to it.. it's really become ridiculous. I'm not a smoker though.. well used to be, and then turned into a holiday smoker, but now not so much any more.

I'm very opposite. Since most of my offs are Long Time I always ask my guests in the way to the hotel if they need something from 7/11 and offer to buy it for them. With one exception - cigarettes. If they want some , expense is on them. To their credit , I never observed any grimace  when I said ' cigarettes pay yourself"

I once visited Dreamboys in their old location in Patpong 2 , where later short lived Sol and then Atlas bars were and among patrons was sitting young Japanese so attractive that quite a few of us shamelessly paid more attention to him than to what was going on on the scene.

God was on our side as during show he was called to the scene for spectator's participation and subsequently they made him undress to his undies !!!!!!!!!!! What a treat  !

Maybe one guy every night? What I found out from another guy (Viet guy who freely volunteered to tell me what he knew about customer) is that he only offs Myanmar and Cambodia guys. 10 to 12 guys. Some Myanmar guys he doesn't off (maybe not handsome enough?) but he gives U$10 tips to them on stage. He comes to bar relatively early each night at 9pm and stays until midway of first show at 10:15pm. He takes his guys out to eat and drink and pays them 1000 baht each. He is accompanied by 2 guys, one of them used to work in bar (not sure where). Mamasans and bar boss give him VIP attention and service.

They will only tell you information about other customers if they know you well or they are your regular customers.

But in case of rich Asian customer at Freshboys, everyone knows him, his likes, dislikes and his habits.

I have come to know that some Myanmar guys prefer not to join his entourage every night. They might enjoy drinking or they want to be with their own regular customers.

1000bt to take out men to eat and drink sounds on the low side. But as he's a regular and a VIP hard to say 'no' to.

1000k does seem low but it's guaranteed 20k for 20 nights. Plus whatever additional tips that the rich Asian customer feels like giving during those nights.
