I can only say that I visited all 3 gay areas in Pattaya-Jomtien Saturday evening and night, and they were all busy. Hard to get a seat in some of the agogos.

I used to be concerned about it but as i got older i started now not to care what others think.
 
A remember a few years ago i took a boy 28y ( looked 18) on a flight to Chiang Mai,we went business class and a group hi so thais were pointing and laughing from the other side of the business lounge until i gave them a cold stare.
 
I dont care what others think anymore,im not here to please anyone or make others happy that i must please them.
 
As long as im not hurting anyine else or being disrespectful to others then i like to do what i want.
 
And nor do i judge others or stare at them if they are different ,eg race, disability , etc but the biggest hypocrites have to be gay men i find.
I was once in a baht bus and a large very obese man tried to climb in and i heard one of the gay farang guys sitting opposite me say out loud , (so the obese man could hear) , how “ disgusting “ some people are.
 
I was actually very tempted to shout back at this gay man sitting opposite me i felt so angry he could judge others when the large gentleman is not judging him.
 
But no i dont care what others think,there is some on this forum who going by their posts obviously have low self esteem and do care what others think even if they dont know who they are.
 
I used to take my then boyfriend to Sou Bukhao to straight places such as Murphys, and a few other places, and yes unfortunately sometimes you do get the uneducated 2 week tourists bogans/ chavs trying to make a comment but who cares i do what makes me happy, I dont own their problems ,why should i try to please them?
 
 
But I do think your personally ( correc5 me if im wrong) referring to “ young looking boys” of course of legal age but look young/ boyish which i imagine and understand you would feel uncomfortable being around in a public place, I probaly would too

Visited last night at about 23:00 and they had 18 gogoboys which were mostly really goodlooking twinkstyle boys. Some stunners. Plenty of customers and nice party feeling in the bar with smiling and dancing boys.
This bar seem to have regained good quality imho from the drop many reorted on the boards last year.

Yes 3 boys from Powerboys and 3-4 boys from Niceboys have emigrated to R bar in Jomtien complex. I also saw 1 former BBB boy working there now.Some of the boys in R bar takes off their shirts to attract more customers. R bar used to be a very empty bar but now somehow have attracted many boys from other bars and with them comes the customers. I counted 15 boys last time I was there.
I have never heard that R bar would be japanese, is the owner from Japan?

With lady gogo bars closing all over Pattaya, it appears to be a bad idea.

Could be an option for those that catch taxis and don't use the airport link BTS (like me), Certainly looks interesting

A long time ago, maybe 18 years, I had an extended stay in Pattaya and during the last two weeks I acquired a 19 year old cute twinky “boyfriend” from the Euroboys Gogo in Sunee, which was a favourite of mine on account of the boys dancing in white lace up sexy briefs. The sex was excellent - I was 100% top then. On my last day I opened an email account for him because he had no experience of computers. This was of course when few Thais had mobile phones but were beginning to used internet cafes. I showed him how to use the account and mentioned about changing the default password.
On my return home I was suprised to find an email from him which had obviously been composed by someone else as his English was rudimentary. We exchanged emails and then one came to say he loved me and and wanted to leave the bar, go back to Isaan, and wait for my return, but mentioned his need for money and requested that I send some via western Union. I sent 5,000 baht which at 70 = £1 did not trouble me at all. A further request came a couple of weeks later on the same lines.
I had a naughty thought - and logged onto his email account due to him not changing the password. I was amused to find him writing to 2 other guys expressing love, and asking for money. The email exchanges were an education !. I terminated the correspondence by telling him to change his psssword.
On my return to Pattaya I found him again, said I had no hard feelings, and offed him several times, but “boyfriend” NO.

Show times have shifted around. As of now, first show 10:20 pm and second show midnight.
Last night the earlier show had many boys arriving late as their previous engagement ran late.
I was tempted to stay for second show but an hour wait too long, even with many good looking sexy

I really can't understand why someone would find the pingpongs a bad thing. Almost all of the lady agogos have them. I have never heard a thai boy complain that it would be degrading. On the contrary, most thai boys love every kind of game and play and especially if money is involved and there have been alot of smiles and laughter everytime I've seen someone throw pingpong-balls.

I understand that, hence my being leery of Sunee. I'm not a prude just a bit of a romantic.

We didn't have a clue about your being a power bottom. With six phone screens lit simultaneously for them to view straight point during the orgy, I bet the soft red light ambience of the back section of bar had an early Christmas decoration. At 300b drinks and 400b tips for each lad, the bill could have easily been 5,000b. That's the way to go old chap... Keep it up!

Honestly, I hate being argumentative, but this is the sort of thing you say that I find impossible to believe. I've spent a good part of my life traveling - every week for years in business and thirty times to Thailand and I must doubt your veracity.

If the information you recieved is correct, this bar didn't last 3 weeks. That must be some kind of new record? It sure makes me yet again amazed of how many people in Pattaya during the years who clearly have no idea of how to run a bar and no clue about the market they try to attract, still spend lots of money on opening bars and then clearly without any realistic economic calculations and prognoses get disappointed very quickly and just close.

Finally a gogo bar that lowers its prices! Kawaii has several alcoholic drinks for 150 baht now, such as Bacardi breezer and Chang beer. 8 slim and cute boys on the stage dancing very enthusiastic Tuesday evening. Just like the old times Kawaii which always had slim and cute boys and always was fun to visit because the boys actually were dancing and not standing still and looking bored like in some bars.
Nice to see that this bar is back.
