When comes to boys and food my advice is only to watch what they order and make sure they finish it off. It happens often that out of 1000 bill 200 is for mine and rest for theirs and still they  are leaving a lot unfinished.  That is what I don't like and make sure they get " a look" from me.

What do they order that costs 800 baht!

Mindful that Kao will show up at 3 pm I made sure I was in the room. Unfortunately fortunately right after he arrived it started to rain , at times heavily. So instead of taking meal brake from our activities he brightly suggested we order a meal from KCF of all places. He professed to liking their food beyond measure and yes , commented that I look like KFC.

Not my kind of food but it was actually quite very good. I felt sorry for soaked delivery guy but made sure he received proper tip to dry out.

Our time was mixture of activities  and quiet moments and mindful I need to pack  at one moment I actually put him to sleep, he was looking so sweetly, LOL. I utilized that time to tidy of and pack and at 8.30 pm we executed proper good bye rites.

Kao sounds like a keeper! I think I have fallen in love with him!

To summarize I must say it was one of the best trips. Social component was certainly best of them all with three members there most of my time so almost no day went without common meals, coffees and gossips. We encouraged each other and gave some leads and I’m sure all had good time.

As for boys  this trip strategy was not to be too adventurous and settle for tried and tested .It worked amazingly. None of those tried companions disappointed and they all did their best. Wing nights (first and last ) were   bit different and boys while performing very well still managed to piss me off a bit by rushing up. Don’t blame them , business is business , they did not read me as good as veterans and still earned their keep but I’d be happier if first one wouldn’t be so greedy and last so speedy.

Kao adventure proved that fun can be had outside of scene is we have open eyes and thread carefully but with goal firmly in sight.

Him and Y were certainly stars of that trip  but S, SK , A , Nuk from Arena , Maii from Jey and MJ’s friend who visited me in the room were equally great

Novelty for me was settling down when come to accommodation. I like to change hotels every 2-4 nights but this time I was domesticated in just two.   It is more homey feeling when one unpacks for 9 days as opposite to just two. Disadvantage  is that if something doesn’t work  ( 2 noisy nights at Quarter) we are stuck and need to mitigate things using other means than just moving out.

I underutilized Foodland this time since for first 9 days I had excellent  breakfast included in the rate and somehow for dinners we steered more toward G’Bangkok but still managed to dine there few times.

With new Foodland in the basement of Silom park we will see if those two supplement or will compete with each other . I like new store better but prefer old store’s restaurant  not only for memories but also ability to see who is inside while passing by.

Exchange rate was better than expected and hold up throughout with XOne still my favorite place to get the baht.

I regret only one thing, that I missed that new #4 from Tawan I was sitting with one night and hoped to off the next one. I should handle it differently by booking him in advance for next day  but this trip on principle I decided not to do any advance bookings so I fell victim of my own orthodoxy.

With at least 5 twinks those days Tawan certainly is no longer just a muscle kingdom.

I hope for another trip this year although my hope is dimmed by fact that acting on airfares substantially increased I set internal limit of how much I’m willing to pay. I monitor fees almost daily for various time frames but so far nothing  even close to my number. But I play 6-49 regularly , it may help I hope.

Another trip this year? I shall be there in late Nov / early Dec. Hope to be able to meet you again!

    Day 7

we woke  up at 6 and after short wrestling session and shower went for breakfast. That early I expected hotel restaurant to be empty and to my surprise it was almost full.

Back in the room I tipped him. He did not seem to be happy, not that I was stingy. He likely noticed I’m surprised with his reaction so put himself together and said ‘thank you Buddha”. That’s better I thought. Problem with occasional over generous tip is that some  guys expect it to be permanent fixture and that was likely a case.

Today MA and me have tourist program – visit  at GMMTV , producer of so many BL series headquarters in Ratachada. We went there by subway. There;s whole procedure before admission to gift shop on 30 something floor. We were told to leave passports  on reception before we could enter elevator.

Gift shop was mobbed by Asian girls so we both were bit out of place but they were [patiently waiting when we were browsing screens with memorial trinkets they offer for sale . At end of day nothing took our fancy but it was fun.

Then we had coffee in Starbucks in the lobby , there were dozens of fans camping there hoping to catch the glimpse of one of their stars I guess.

Then we parted ways. I went to Rama IX Central nearby on hunting mission. One of my most favorite guys of all times , M from Senso is hairdresser in one of shops there. I tried to spot him previously but did not succeed and neither I did today. Hope dies last though, it’s always next time !

Upon return to the room and it was already 3 pm I was surprised it was not cleaned yet but I went to XOne to change some money and when I returned it was already tidied.

This afternoon I have meeting with guy I met by chance in one of previous trips who is not a guy from the scene. We talked occasionally from time to time . Last time we talked , one of us , I don’t remember who , suggested we should have dinner together one day . Today was the day. Kao is his name or at least it’s how he wants me to call him.

I did not have any expectancies but was very curious to see if something more than talk and meal together  comes out of it.

He arrived on the dot at 5 as agreed.  If this trip proved something it was that most boys are very punctual and  on time contrary to what some slanderous farangs may say.

To break the ice we went to place across hotel with some stalls and had some Lao craft beer there. When subject of something more substantial came he suggested meal in  Sizzler on Silom. I liked idea although I don’t usually dine there but few years ago had birthday meal at the place with two other boys in tow.

Surprisingly he suggested we walk there, so much about Thai guys being reluctant to walk. Reason given was even more endearing ‘ we will have more time to talk” ( his English is good conversational although he admitted he speaks tongue but doesn’t write it). That was a good sign no doubt.

He was visibly reluctant to order as prices there are quite high but I made it easy for him “ do you want that steak?” , ‘too expensive “ , ‘ ok, one for you , one for me “.

But I liked fact that he was trying not to take advantage of being treated. Best part came when we were considering drinks ‘ I have a juice, we can buy some beers at 7/11 and  drink  it in your room “ .

Hearing it I thought I just have a stroke as it was something I was afraid even to dream about , him in my room , whoa !!!

Nasty surprise came when we went to settle  a bill. Not it’s size ( 2045 , not  a cheap place I told you ) but fact they don’t take  a cash. .

Normally I don’ use plastic when I travel unless not given a choice and in Thailand I don’t even carry cards with me , keeping them in safe box. I like cash. If Guardian Angel did not suggest I take wallet with me just in case I wouldn’t. If I did not it were so embarrassing.

I generally boycott places refusing to take cash and now I’m even more inclined to boycott them so likely it was my last visit at Sizzler Silom in this life for that very reason. Uff !

So we did as planned , stocked up on beer at 7/11 near hotel and went straight to the room.

Yes,  we drank all that beer and had very nice conversation and yes, as evening was unfolding we slowly but surely  become bit more closer and closer  but that’s nobody’s business. From what I thought it will be sober and well behaved evening it turned out to be quite romantic and interesting one even if two things were excluded by Kao from the menu – kiss and long time.

Not that he was in rush to go , I was trying to use fact that he drunk quite a bit to keep him here even pointing to the fact that there’s  bed in bedroom a but also sofa in the living room but he was firm “ I drive slowly and will sleep at home “.

So around midnight I decided I let him go, I did not want him to get too drunk. We already agreed to met on another day this trip.

It was one thing I  was not sure how to handle not to create any offense to such great guy. You got it – should I tip or not. I decided to abandon any pretense of diplomacy and asked straight away “ can I give you some money?” to get an answer “ of course”. So I did.

Long live Thailand where casual conversation may lead to such great afternoon and evening I thought when he closed door.

    How did you meet Kao?

Very gentlemanly of you to tip him by asking so politely.

Last night I dropped by in Moonlight at 11. 00, quite packed for a change. Singing started with backdrop of boys with numbers so I called one as he was only one bare chested and I did not want him to get cold. Kind of showing my soft hearted side.

Did you warm him up back to your hotel room? Haha

    Sunday

Banana bar half filled for 9.30 show but by 10 almost full house. Show too long, mostly lip syncing divas, like Maria Callas for the poor but what do we know about what audience wants. One of them, lady of formidable size was harvesting tips right, left and center. Russian gymnast stole the show later screamingly applauded by quite numerous Asian girls. Few impressive cocks in big c***k show, one attached to boy smallest on them all.

But show bit too long, depriving boys chance to show and market themselves.

Mamasan Lucy changed her looks and looked  bit less intimidating. Hope she feels OK as, was moving around  bit slowly. Did not even give me a chance to tell her that I like girls. Perhaps she remembers ?

    Music way too loud.

At 11.00 our deputation of two left for Moonlight. Past 11.00 show was half way through but we still catched the rest of it. Pretty full house with seats left here and there. Five models only Nut, Jar, Mean ( I start developing hots for him), Mark and York. Noticed few new floor boys including hunky # 45 so on departure performed 100 baht vinapu tuck on him and Yai I already know.

After show singers started their part but we liked that boys formed still line on the scene giving them chance to market themselves instead of hiding in the corners. It worked because son after said Yai was, seen walking out with quite young Oriental, at least comparing to Troy or me. My companion snatched new cutie, I did not have any problem beating the work as as soon as I sat, A the muscle god pat me from behind and was immediately ordered to dress neatly as tonight it was his chance.

By time Mamasan showed, I was already set. Less than minute after opening bar door.

We watched rest of  show and left ust past midnight. I was given ride home  on Yamaha so obviously some guys, are doing quite OK.

Glad that you have forgiven A and gave him second chance. You are magnanimous!

Jason I’ll be there in September and October. It would be great to see you.    Missed your last couple of trips by a few weeks.

I still have to confirm my work schedule. I bet the Viet guys miss you!

Speaking of Viet guys, on my last night in Bangkok last month, I was at Freshboys to pick up a guy and suddenly a Viet guy called out to me. He was working as waiter and used to be from old Soi Twilight!
