Later on after exchanging line details he even invited me to have drinks with him later, which I thought was nice, but declined in the end. Grindr has been a lot more active than in bkk and cnx and 2 guys I was chatting to also worked at 4 massage. I told them they can massage me next time I come to Phuket.
Phuket is generally a little pricey but it’s a good time to travel now. Hotel prices are decent and it’s not yet overrun with tourists. Would I come back? Probably yes but I think next time I may try stay somewhere different, somewhere a little more relaxing. I stayed in Karon before so I’ll explore the different beaches. The smart bus at the moment is only 100 baht but I think it’s only a promotion for a while.
I’m coming back to Bangkok for about a week before I go back home, lots of guys to see, and I think I might do some day trips to like Ayutthaya or the ancient city etc. Looking forward to it!
Quick question about Phuket. We’re any of the bars open in Soi Paraduse?

Funny, I had dinner at Bitterman last week with friends; the service and the food were both quite good....

Yes, naked -- as in fully stark naked, full monty, whatever you want to call it. Some of the guys still work out every day and are quite buff, a couple of others not so much so.

A rainy Friday night so I headed over to Tawan, thinking there might be very few customers and the guys might be eager for some tip money. Indeed, when I arrived at 10:15, there was exactly one customer inside. No show, so no cover charge. The guys were wearing street clothes, taking only their shirt off for the on-stage rotation, and looking bored to death.
I announced that I would buy drinks for any naked boys and immediately had several takers. The only other customer took an off, which left me as the only customer, drinking with a bunch of naked guys. I said I wanted to see a show, so two of them got up on stage and sucked each other's cocks, licked each other all over, etc. It was great fun, they were very good sports about it, and it was much sexier without the silly costumes or masks they normally wear. In the end, I tipped everybody who had participated, including the DJ and the bartender.
I dropped a couple of thousand baht, but it was worth it for what was essentially a private party, and everybody seemed grateful to have someone actually willing to engage with them. I have been lucky enough to still have work during the virus, so I don't mind sharing a little bit with those who are currently struggling, especially when I get a lot attention in return as I did on Friday. The guys in there have been very good to me over the years and so I was happy to provide them with a little something during tough times.
I'll probably drop in again in a few weeks and do it again.

I don't use the apps a lot but my experience has been Planet Romeo has more Thai guys interested in farang, while Hornet and Blued tend toward Thai for Thai. I'm talking non-commercial contacts.

Their facebook page says "low season pricing" now in effect. Admission and first drink 300, second drink 150. Hard to complain about that!

Those prices suggest the guys are not really available - the bar and boy are demanding ridiculous amounts so as to deter any prospective client.
Agreed - it would seem they are actively looking to deter prospective clients. Part of me would like to find out, and see what actually happens! I would suspect that you don't get much for your money, but you never know.

Ha! I was there last night also. No off but I did enjoy the show. As stated above admission and one drink 400, second drink 250. Boy drink is 400.
About the models: Mamasan confirms they are employed on a different basis. As Vinapu says, several are real stunners. I am guessing they are not primarily sex workers but rather are employed as eye candy. Mamasan says they can indeed be offed but off fee is THB 2000, and expected tip is 4000 - 5000.
One of the models approached me and asked if he could sit with me. Before I could answer, Mamasan warned me that drink for model is THB 600. Ha! Of course I declined. I invited one the regular boys to sit with me, bought him a drink, and tipped him 300 when I left.

To each their own. Bangkok has developed a sophisticated culinary scene, and I personally love to splurge on an exceptional meal, even if only very occasionally. I totally get that some people are not interested in that - but then why comment?
I personally have zero interest in opera, but I would never post about the high cost of opera tickets. The fact that I might prefer to stay home and listen to the radio for free is of no interest to the artists who create opera or to the fans who might save up for months to attend a performance.

Today is Makha Bucha day, and the bars are not allowed to sell alcohol. But does anyone know it the go-go bars will be open anyway? Or do they close altogether?

Pong has been around for quite a while. He is a very experienced masseur, very professional, and he is handsome with a stunning body. The massage strokes are supposed to be sort of timed to the tempo of the music he plays, which I found to be interesting but not necessarily better than a normal massage. He is pretty flexible and you can just tell him what you want out of the massage. And the after service is super sexy.

I don't think THB 1500 is too high, and none of the boys I know will go for 1000. I always try to stay flexible once we hit the room, as there are often miscommunications / misunderstandings while at the bar. Always best to not be overly invested in one particular fantasy...

To answer a few questions:
I don't remember the drink prices off hand but they were not high. The guys were straight, medium build, average to good looking. Not twinks.
As far as paying them to get stark naked and hard, in front of me and their mates, in a public setting right there in the bar the middle of the afternoon - that was the whole point. I certainly would not have asked them to do that for free.
I like to have fun, but I try to make sure that the young men have fun also, and I am always generous, especially when they are willing to go a little - or a lot - out of their comfort zone.
As far as the specific activities that they were willing to engage in for my edification, I prefer to protect their privacy but let's just say that all of my desires were fulfilled.

Just thought I would mention this place since it doesn't get much attention. Last Saturday, late afternoon, finished shopping and in the mood for a beer. Stopped in here because I knew I would be the only customer, and also because these boys don't get much business and so are always eager to please.
Three guys on duty, all in good shape and reasonably good looking. I bought them all a drink, and they quickly pulled up chairs to join me. They seemed happy to have an afternoon customer and someone to talk to. I asked them if they wanted to have some fun and they said yes. So I gave them each 400 baht to take off all of their clothes. They quickly complied.
Two of three were immediately at rigid attention, while the third was at about 50%. As the bar tender was lurking nearby and seemed to want to join, I tipped him to provide oral assistance to boy number 3 and that quickly did the trick.
I bought a second round of drinks, and we all spent the next hour talking and laughing as I provided small tips for them to perform various actions on each other while I watched.
Eventually each of them "finished" (one guy twice), I paid my bill, and I was back on the BTS and on my way home by 6:30. It was the perfect Saturday afternoon drink for me, and the young men were extremely happy.
