    PATTAYA
Halfway through my trip I checked out of my hotel, got on the MRT to Petchaburi, then the ARL from Makasaan to Suvarnabhumi, and caught the bus to Pattaya. Very decently priced at 130 baht. I didn’t have to wait for long for the next bus which was great. Disembarked at Jomtien and walked the short distance to my hotel (Zing). I try not to be too fussy when staying in hotels, but I just wasn’t really into this one. Like, it was quite big (I don’t know if I perhaps got upgraded to a bigger room), but there was a lot of wasted space , and the bathroom was really small. And had an ant infestation. And the shower was annoying (water would go all over the bathroom floor, and it was either hot or cold most of the time – no inbetween). The good thing was that I had 2 balconies (as it was a corner room), one facing towards the smaller Thappraya Rd (where I could see Family Mart through the buildings), and the other balcony faced towards more balconies from what I assume were apartments on top of the businesses on the main Thappraya road. On one of the balconies there were these 2 good looking guys who would pop up each morning and evening, so when I was hanging out on the balcony we would wave to each other. I called them the ‘balcony boys’. One of them accidentally dropped his bottle of water over the balcony and we both had a laugh.

    Food
Since I love food, below are a few places I ate at. Thank you for the recommendations from forum members from a post I posted previously, I didn’t manage to get to all of the recommendations, but I did get to some.
Mango tree: this place was quite expensive (but I was in the area), and I didn’t find much difference between the food here and what you would find in cheaper restaurants and street food, but the ambience and service made up for it. The maître d was absolutely stunning. There seemed to be a lot of flies at my table though for some reason.
Andaman: directly across the road from The Raya, so it’s convenient for those staying there. A mix of Thai and western cuisine, food was okay and decently priced.
Northeast: a little bit of a walk, but the food was delicious. Quite a few tourists were here when I visited, and it was quite busy. Highly recommended.
Grab food: when I was too lazy to go out, I used grab food (it’s just on the grab app, press ‘food’ on the main screen). Prices were reasonable, and the delivery charge was very reasonable (10-15 baht). The food was mostly delivered in plastic bags, so it was amusing when I was trying to eat/drink soup from a bag. Maybe next time I’ll pack a small bowl in my suitcase. The menus to some of the restaurants were sometimes only in Thai writing, so I had to rely on pictures (and the english listing when available), but there was one time that I randomly ordered a dish in thai writing that I had no idea what it was. That was fun. I was hoping it would be a drink, but it turned out to be a soup, with some sort of meat balls in it.
Hokkaido Ramen: this restaurant was across the road from Golden Cock, and reasonably priced (and yum).
Tonkotsu Kazan: in the same soi as screw/fresh/dream etc. Really good ramen, and the softest chashu I’ve ever tasted. It was so good that I ordered what I thought was 1 more piece, but ended up being 4 pieces. They were also quite happy to accept credit cards.
7/11: fell in love with the banana cupcakes there (super moist and delicious), and probably had one every day. They are only 10 baht each! Or you can get a 2-pack for 18 baht!
    Other things I did
Mitrtown: this new shopping mall is connected to the Sam Yan MRT and is quite spacious. Just your standard mall really (including muji which has heaps of cool stuff), but there were a lot of food options. I ate at a noodle place, and ordered a dish which I thought was noodles with dumplings, but turns out it was just dumplings without any noodles, but thee best damn dumplings that I’ve ever tasted.
Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre: quite easy to get to from national stadium BTS, they have an LGBT exhibition at the moment which is really good (and free!). Some pieces were quite beautiful, other’s quite thought provoking and hard to watch. I spend a good few hours here perusing. A few other exhibitions were on at the same time, but the LGBT exhibition spoke to me the most. It finishes sometime in march I think.
Siam Paragon: had a meal at a seafood place, and had a bit of a wander. Wanted to buy a bag but everything was super expensive so I didn’t bother. So many places to eat though. Lots of tourists around.
Patpong night market: decided to waste some time before going into the bars one night as it was still early, but I didn’t buy anything. The stalls were pretty much selling all of the same thing. I did walk through one afternoon whilst they were setting up and thought to myself that it must be such a big job having to set it all up and take it down every single day.

    Massages
Prime: I really like this place, and was sad when the therapist I had last time wasn’t in town – he was really good. Anyway, I had 3 massages here. The first was a 1 hour Thai/1 hour oil. This guy massaged me like he hated me, he was really rough! I remember he found a knot in my shoulder and wouldn’t let it go and was going over and over and over it with his elbow, quite hard, like he was digging for gold or something. Oil massage was okay. I was sore for the next 2 days. My next massage here was a couple of days later, different guy but same routine (1 hour Thai/1 hour oil), and he was a little more gentle than the first. My 3rdmassage was again a couple of days later and this time I opted for a 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai as I wasn’t really getting into the oil massage here (and the foot massages are quite good). The guy I had during my visit in October was the best that I’ve had there and when I return, I’ll definitely ask for him (hopefully he will still be working there!). I totally recommend this place, really affordable and professional massages, and I highly recommend the 1 hour foot/1 hour Thai for 500 baht.
Magic Touch: This place is down the soi that runs next to Le Meridien. When I found it, I took my thongs (flip-flops) off, and was about to go in, but the lady sitting outside asked me ‘you want man?’ and well obviously yes, so she pointed to the small pathway on the side of the building, to another building (all surrounded by a construction site at the moment). There I found a bunch of good looking guys sitting outside, so I went inside, chose my massage (1 hour oil), paid the fee (the guy at the reception desk’s english was really good and he was very good looking), and was assigned my masseur who was smaller and a little older, but still good looking (and with a nice 6-pack as I later found out). The shower was interesting, it was kinda in a public area (with a curtain of course), but the wind from the holes in the wall kept on blowing the curtain open. Massage was in a private room and was pretty decent, a handjob to finish and I gave him a blowjob for a while but he didn’t cum. Recommended.
Arena: I’ve only been here once before (2016) but I had a good experience, so I decided to go again. A short walk from Chong Nonsi BTS, made my way up to the 3rdfloor and went inside and sat down. The guy gave me a menu (and was trying to sell me a 4 handed massage, but I declined) and I chose a 1 hour oil massage and picked a semi-muscular guy (from Chiang Mai) that was waving at me. Massage was prefuntory as expected, and afters were okay, kinda went from massage straight into fucking without much foreplay. We had a shower together afterwards where he washed all of the oil off me.
Prince: I’ve always been curious about this place so I thought I would try it. Caught the MRT to Lumphini and walked to Prince, a little bit of a trek though. It was a little embarrassing when I got there though as I was walking to what I thought was the entrance looked like a fish pond, so I walked back and saw another door that looked like a service entrance or an entrance to a different house and thought ‘this can’t be right’, so I walked back over to where I was and the ‘fish pond’ turned out to be the entrance. The tiles were just surrounded by water, so step carefully. The reception I got when I entered was a little weird – instead of welcoming me, the guy looked a little confused as to why I was there. So I just sat down and waited for him to bring me the menu. Chose 1 hour oil and chose a muscular guy (28 or 38 I forgot) who was attractive. He led me to the room (which was quite nice actually), showered, and then he came back and showered. Massage was okay, he was using firm strokes, but covered me in what seemed like a gallon of oil. Afters were good, he fucked me hard and in numerous positions, and then washed the oil off me afterwards. I was getting a bit over the massages at this point) even though I love them, but sometimes it just felt a little hurried, which I totally understand as they want to get another customer. But come on, give me a little foreplay!
The Sun Massage: I had been walking for most of the day so I felt like having a foot massage. I walked down Surawong Rd and was going to get a foot massage from the first cute guy that accosted me, but no one really did, so I walked down the soi that tawan was on and a cute guy intercepted me outside of the sun massage so I agreed, and then another more beefier guy did my foot massage. It was fine, pretty standard (better at Prime though), and I was the only customer there at the time which was nice and relaxing.

    Gogo bars
The first time I stepped foot into a gogo bar was during my first visit in 2016 (dreamboys and I think x boys back in Soi Twilight, with a tour guide), but I didn’t off anyone. This trip I found the courage to go by myself, and it wasn’t actually as scary as I thought. It was pretty straight forward, and I am indebted to this forum for the information on how they worked. I didn’t manage to actually get to any gogo bars until my 3rdnight in Bangkok, but I managed to check out 5, one bar per night.
Freshboys: I actually had wanted to go to screwboys for my first foray into the gogo bars, but I couldn’t immediately see it when I entered Patpong 2. One of the grabbers from fresh boys said there was a fuck show, and I thought that sounded good, so I went upstairs and I was led inside to a seat. The venue was intimate, and the show had already started when I arrived. Dark skinned mamasan with big hair looked after me, and a Vietnamese waiter sat with me for a while, was a little touchy-feely, and asked me to buy him a drink, which I declined. The show was good, pretty much what I expected, I did notice the big cock/pole/knee routine which has been mentioned here, and the fuck show was probably the best out of all of the bars that I visited this trip. The mamasans and waiters did a good job of standing in the way whilst I was trying to watch the show. There were 2 guys on my short list to off – one of the guys from the big cock show, and a more twinkier guy. I’m pretty flexible with guys, so I don’t necessarily need to look for a top or a bottom as I can just go with the flow with whatever the guy is comfortable with (but they need to be able to kiss!). Anyway, mamasan said that the big cock guy was top only, which is fine, but what that translates to me is that he probably won’t do much, plus he looked a little bit cocky, but hey, he could have been really nice. He was super hot though, and did wander through the audience and I had a bit of a grope. Anyway, I decided on the twinkier guy (turns out he is from Laos), mamasan said he did everything. He came over and his English was a little limited, but we used google translate to help. Maybe I heard wrong, but I think he said he was 32, but later I stumbled across his grindr and hornet profiles which said 20 and 24, so who knows. I didn’t mind though as I prefer guys a little older and closer to my age (mid 30’s). So after settling the bill, I put 100 baht in the other guy’s underwear (as he would have been my other choice), and we walked back to the hotel, holding hands (actually, all but 1 of the guys held hands with me on the way back), which was nice. He was pretty fun in bed and we were both pretty versatile. This guy was nice, and I liked his company. We cuddled afterwards (actually I did with all of the guys, most just fell asleep). He wanted to stay the night (he was so tired, poor thing), but I had to decline because I’m not so much into longtime. I find it really hard to sleep when someone else is sharing a bed with me. Perhaps one day. Sent him on his way with an extra 100 baht to give to mamasan as I realised I didn’t tip her, so who knows if she actually got it or not lol.
Screwboys: so on my second night out, I finally found this bar, the reason why I didn’t see it previously is that it was set back from the road a little. It was a cosy bar, seating was a little strange (at one stage I took my shoes off and sat cross legged), and mamasan (male) talked to me periodically and sometimes put his head on my shoulder. A lot of guys to choose from, the show was pretty standard, and after the show I chose another twinkier looking guy as he looked friendly and kind. Mamasan called him over, and he sat with me for a while (shivering as he was wearing only underwear and we must have been under the aircon) before we left together. 20 years old from Laos (2 Lao guys in a row, who would have thought), and he spoke zero english, but we managed. If I understood correctly, he had only been working in the bar for 6 days. Walked back to the hotel hand in hand, I registered him at reception (the only guy that I registered throughout my trip), and had some fun in the room. I didn’t really want to go further than kissing/oral/handjobs as I just kinda wanted to give him an easy time if he had only been working there for a few days. Nice guy though and super cute. It was amusing in the shower afterwards though as he was washing his hair and was having trouble with the shampoo as it wasn’t really lathering, but turns out that his hair was gelled so much that he needed copious amounts of shampoo to wash it all out. I accompanied him down to the street to bid him farewell (actually I accompanied all of the guys out to the street during my time here. It felt like the right thing to do).
Lucky boys: this bar was huge. I chose to sit up the back (my preferred seating), and I got there a little early so I had to wait a while for the show to start. The mamasan (with the emirates hat) sat with me periodically, and we made a bit of small talk, but after the show I commented on her good english skills and she opened up and just talked and talked about how she learnt english, where she worked before, how long she has been at lucky boys etc). The show was, again, pretty standard, although a little higher quality than fresh and screw, but the fuck show was still the best at fresh. There were 2 guys that I had my eye on, a pretty guy with facial hair, and a more masculine guy, who was a little bigger, and hairier. Even though I did like the look of the facial hair guy and he was super hot, and I decided to go with the hairier guy. Mamasan called him over, 26 or 28 years old, from Cambodia, and english skills were decent which was a nice change. I got the mamasan to call over pretty facial hair guy and I gave him 100 baht. Back to the room and we showered separately, and he put the bathroom blinds down whilst showering (I noticed with the guys that came back with me to this hotel, only the Cambodian guys did this), and had some fun. I bottomed for him and he fucked pretty hard. Sweet guy, had a fun night with him and I think I connected with him a little more than Lao guy 2, but not more than Lao guy 1.
Dreamboys: before I went to dreamboys I was umming and aah-ing about my situation – I had limited time left, I wanted to go to a new bar each night (but didn’t really want to do 2 bars in a night), but really wanted to off the big dick guy from freshboys, and also the pretty guy in lucky boys. I didn’t have any of the mamasan’s contact details so I couldn’t really organise anything. And I knew that most of these guys probably don’t really stay in the game for too long, so it is possible by the time I visited again, they wouldn’t be there anymore. Anyway, I ended up making my decision and going to dreamboys as I wanted to visit a new bar, which was my plan all along. Much to my surprise, all of my indecisiveness was forgotten when I met the guy who I would off here, who coincidentally became my favourite of the whole trip. Dreamboys was smaller than I had anticipated (when I compare it to the old dreamboys which I had been to a few years prior), I had a nice seat up the back, and watched the guys in rotation. I had my eye on 2 guys – one of which was a little more on the twinkier side, but with a softer body (like mine aha), and the other was a little bigger (taller) than I would have usually gone for, and muscly (but not overly). But I really really liked his face. The show was pretty standard fare, my ‘guy’ ended up being in the big cock show, and there was also a section where 2 attractive guys from the audience were called on stage and were made to take most of their clothes off and were “massaged” by the ladyboys. It was actually pretty crass and I was glad I was sitting up the back. Anyway, after the show I decided to go for something different than what I’m used to, so I got the mamasan to call the (big cock) guy down (she said he was gay and flexible), and I was a little apprehensive as I thought he may be a little cocky or arrogant, but when he got to me, he was actually super nice. Thai guy, said he was 30 (his line profile said 33 though, which doesn’t worry me as I prefer a little older), and spoke quite reasonable English. After talking for a little bit, we left together (hand in hand), stopped by 7/11 on the way where I bought him a couple of snacks, and shortly after we were back in my room. Really loving how close The Raya is to the action. He was really quite playful and fun, yet really passionate, and an amazing kisser, and I think we really connected. Whether it was genuine or fabricated, I didn’t really mind because at least he went to the effort. Didn’t go further than kissing, oral, and handjobs, but I was pretty satisfied. I made sure to get his line id before he left. He messaged me a little later saying he was at the gym (like at 3am lol). I thought it was funny how at the beginning of the night I was unsure of what to do, and then he just made me forget about it all. Funny how things work sometimes.
Moonlight: Even though the general type of guys at Moonlight weren’t really my type, I was curious about this bar, and it was super close to my hotel. Turns out that there is someone there for everyone. It was quite busy when I arrived, and was seated near the front, but not right up the front, next to some Thai girls. The shows were probably the most professional out of them all, and the models were quite attractive, a little too muscular for my liking, but my favourite was Babe (I think) as I really liked his face. After the first show (which went on for more than an hour), most of the audience left and I moved to some seating towards the back to watch the second show, which was much shorter in comparison. I had my eye on quite a few guys, but I wanted to wait until the end before I chose, however most of the guys that I had my eye on were gone (lesson learnt – choose earlier). It was a nice touch at the end when the singers were singing, and the guys that were left were just scattered around the stage, some playing and joking around. I ended up choosing a smaller but muscular guy as from his mannerisms on stage he looked quite fun, and he was also in the big cock show. 34 years old (I think) from Cambodia, went back to my hotel (not hand in hand for once), and he showered with the blinds down. I’m pretty realistic, and I don’t expect to connect with every guy, but he ended up being a little bit of a dud. I sucked him for a while and was getting a little bored and was about to give up and send him home, but then he asked to fuck me and then got a little more animated after that. Kissing was a little difficult as his breath was not, well, fresh. So it wasn’t all bad, but the guys from the other bars were better. But obviously this isn’t an indication of the quality of the guys from the bar itself, as many factors would have been at play – he could have been tired, having an off night, not so much into me, but hey, you live and you learn.

I recently came back from a 2-week trip to Thailand (my 3rdtime to Thailand this year), where I visited Bangkok and Pattaya. Some of this report is chronological and some is just the experiences in places that I visited, a little disjointed but I think it gets the point across. It’ll kinda be posted in dribs and drabs as I’m just copying and pasting from a word document which I created.
    BANGKOK
Lucky for me I had a direct flight with Thai Airways from my home city, first time taking this airline and I couldn’t really fault them. Arrived mid-afternoon, went through immigration, collected my suitcase, exchanged some cash in the basement before catching the ARL to Makasaan, and then the MRT from Petchaburi to Sam Yan. Since I was staying at The Raya, I could have gotten off at Silom (or even caught the BTS) but I didn’t fancy crossing Surawong Rd with my suitcase (and crossing Surawong Rd during my whole trip annoyed me to no end). Sam Yan I think is a little further but the walk was easier. The hotel was quite nice, and I got a pretty good deal by booking my flights and accommodation together on expedia. Reception was on the 5thfloor, and my room was on the 7thfloor. Large room, decent sized bathroom (which I like), and I especially liked the glass wall separating the bathroom to the bedroom. I’ve stayed at hotels with a window separating the bathroom to the bedroom, but never an actual full glass wall. The view from my window was facing west so I could see some of Surrawong Rd, and directly beneath my window were the remains of Soi Twilight. There was a balcony, but I was unsure whether or not it was meant to be used as there was no door, but I climbed out of the window and went on the balcony anyway. I quite often looked out at the view for ages, just contemplating life and such. It was quite relaxing. Lots of Japanese guests at this hotel and they were LOUD. Well, on my floor they were. I ended up getting a smoking room (but I wasn’t smoking on this occasion) and the smell blocked up my nose for a while but the smoke smell went away in a day or so.
Unfortunately for me I had to bring some work with me that I didn’t manage to finish before I left, so that preoccupied me for the rest of the night (and the next day or so), but I went for a walk, got some water and snacks at 7/11, made an appointment for the next day at Prime (I tried to book the guy I had last time, but he had gone home for 2 weeks, damn), went looking for some dinner but was overwhelmed by all of the choices that I found myself at Bon Chon in the Silom Complex where I’ve been before. Quite nice fried chicken, albeit a little on the pricier side.

The six days in BKK all kind of blended together in my memory. Guess that is to be expected when you spend 25+ hours of it clubbing with the same group of people.
Hotel: Le Meridien. This is now my favourite Marriott hotel with the superior location coupled with modern rooms. Similar to other hotels in its class, it had speakers in the bathroom to hear the tv, separate bath tub and shower, etc. The bathroom wall is a sliding panel that you can open to watch tv while taking a bath (or to ogle your boy while he does a bath/shower scene for you). Upon check in, the receptionist convinced me to take the free breakfast with sparkling wine as the welcome gift for Platinum members. She even added that it is for 2 people so that if I have a friend come stay later, I can bring them. At first I just chuckled inside, thinking "what friend? I'm staying here alone". A few hours later, it finally dawned on me what she meant...The only gripe is that the hotel is a death trap. Crossing the road to Silom is like playing Leap Frog.
The Bars: A thank you to everyone for all the info on the bars to allow for prioritization. Checked out Jupiter and yes, there were manly muscle guys. However, not a big fan of tattoos. Plus, one mamasan kept pestering me to select a boy. Moonlight had some boys that were more my type - #65 and #27. Alas, wanted to catch the show and see the famous Babe, and the ones I liked were offed by the show's end. The most enjoyable part of Moonlight's stools is that one has to work their core to sit straight. Ended the night by watching a show at LuckyBoys as mentioned in the LuckyBoys thread. Need to go back to Moonlight on my return and try to get #65! @DivineMadman you're taking me to the other bars when I'm back right?? kekekeke
The naughtier stuff: 1) Determined to get myself a proper X-Mas gift after the mishap in Phuket, I promptly opened Grindr and Jack'D after checking in at the hotel. Found a Vietnamese muscle hunk that @spoon would approve of and promptly scheduled an appointment. Yes, he looked like his pictures (YAY!) and the service satisfied my needs. X-Mas came late, but nevertheless came. He did rush me out afterwards - so if one cares about spending the full hour together, he is not the one for you. 2) Next (different day), met with a tall Thai boy with a swimmer build. Perfect height as he was only 1 inch shorter than me, and had the body type that I strive for. He claimed to be shy though and despite claiming to do "everything", did not want to bottom. Oh well, still got to feel him up for an hour. 3) Had another mishap where I agreed to hook up with a guy on Grindr and he turned out to be different from his pictures...
Sauna: Checked out Chakran on a Friday between 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm. Silly me for going during office hours on a holiday week. There were 5 other guys there, all Asians who were on the older side. Determined to not waste my entry fee, relaxed in the sauna and onsen for an hour. Plus, got a lot of cardio in by walking up and down the floors, searching in vain for other people. Side note, that place is a death trap with the amount of steps in dimly lit space. Tread with caution! The facilities were clean (had to be with the # of patrons) and the pictures on their site (of the facilities) were accurate.
Massage: Popped over to VCK after the sauna without knowing that they were raided earlier that day. Only 3 masseurs were available, all of the muscle hunk type. Decided to try my hand at Ganymede Spa. All the boys were on the shorter side with muscles on a twink body (if that makes sense). After Chakran and VCK, I wasn't going to leave empty handed again and selected a top. Rooms on multiple floors with communal showers. The massage was on an actual massage table. Received a mediocre massage for 5 minutes before proceeding straight to the extra stuff. Since we pretty much skipped the massage, we finished before the time was up so he tried to give me a massage with the remaining time. Thought he was pretty sweet for all the effort so gave extra tip. He mentioned that business has been slow, with only 1 or 2 customers a day, if even.
Touristy stuff:  Blitzed through BKK's tourist scene in half a day with @spoon as my tour guide :-). Grand Palace, Wat Pho, IconSiam, the river ferry rides, etc. I was more interested in Spoon's stories than the sights. More or less done with BKK's tourist spots unless someone has other recommends.
White Party: Spent more time doing this than anything else (including sleep). Basically it is room full of muscle jock young Asians - nonstop eye candy for me! @anddy hope you enjoyed it too!
My eyes, and camera, naturally wandered to the gogo dancers. tried to upload some pictures but it keeps failing. Check out WPBKK on IG if you're curious.

at end of day it may turn not to be so fantastic, day may come when we will be departing Thailand and officer will tell  us ' o, I can see you engaged  three guys from grindr, two from Blued and one from PlanetRomeo, you visited Sauna Mania on Friday at time of their show / orgy and on Saturday you left Jupiter with a guy who at later hour was seen entering Tarntawan with you and leaving alone only 8 hours later. I'm not sure  all this is aligning well with our government  policy so please wait here ". Day or two later when we arrive in our country after of course forced to buy another ticket because we missed flight in BKK, the same sentence will be repeated with warning about soliciting prostitution being illegal un der universal jurisdiction and you will be informed about court date by  the registered mail.
If you think it's fantasy , read about Chinese being denied purchase of train ticket etc. because of previous infractions.
Sometimes I think it's nice to be of certain age as it affords us more hope we won't live long enough to see it implemented , all to our applaud.

    NYE at Moonlight

I went back to Moonlight on New Year’s Eve (NYE). It was packed at showtime.

I will stick to the earlier format of providing comments on each category, but try and combine some for ease of writing (and reading)

Facilities and Host: The cover charge was still 500 Baht on NYE. I thought it would be higher this night. The mamasan I have previously met was there to greet me and found a seat for me on the couch at the back. A tip goes a long way! I tipped him again as I was leaving.

The music was much louder this night. And was jacked up even higher during the show. The bass was turned right up; you could feel the pounding on the walls/ pillars. I truly feel sorry for the folks who were sitting beside the speakers. The temperature again was fairly comfortable.

Clientele: There were more women on NYE, compared to Sunday night.  Also few more non Chinese customers on NYE.

The Boys: There seemed to be fewer boys on stage this night, as some may have already gone off with clients. I did not see a couple of guys that I fancied on Sunday, hence this observation. The same models were on stage, as on Sunday. Nicky is quite a showman when he comes on stage, whereas Babe is more humble. Babe received 4 money garlands (each one was 1,000 Baht, I believe) and Nicky got 1
When they came back on stage for their 2nd intro, Babe got 2 more.

The Show: The show started a bit late, at 10:45pm, so that it could continue till midnight. A couple of performances during the main show were different this night. Having looked at the dancers again, I agree with Spoon and Jason that the dancers at Moonlight are very good. The group dance with all the boys on stage is very uncoordinated and not much of a dance. This likely clouded my judgement about all the dancers not being as good.
As a side note, Babe is a really good dancer, with the right rhythm and moves!

Closer to midnight, all the mamasans went up on stage to dance with some of the stars. My fav mamasan certainly had the right moves! The waiters also joined in for a short while.
All the models were on stage as midnight approached and were really living up to the beat. They were also on the floor for a short time, dancing to upbeat music before going back on stage.
There was no official countdown to midnight. The models stayed on stage while a male and female performer took to the stage, singing 3 songs. That took us to about 12:10 am. The rest of the boys then came back on stage and their parade routine began.

As the guests were leaving, we each got a small present – mine was a pair of red boxer shorts with Moonlight logo on it.
That is it for my 2nd visit to Moonlight on this trip.

    PS.
I forgot to mention in my previous report that at Moonlight, clapping after a performance was very subdued. There was more clapping at Jupiter.

Reminds me one of my  offs  from Tawan, guy planted himself beside me , smiled , took my hand and placed on his already rigid member and said ' one thousand five hundred short time four hundred for the bar", not even liturgical questions ' how long you are in Bangkok etc. " were asked. Next word uttered by me were 'see you tomorrow' to a guy manning the entry when we were leaving.
On our way to Nantra it turned that my guy speaks actually quite decent English and yes in the room we did quite a lot.

BL8gPt reacted to reader in Anxiety and unity in Bangkok’s biggest slum
    From Coconuts Bangkok
It’s Friday afternoon and Ratchani Cheausuwan is tired. She’s been standing all day, selling selling snacks with her one usable arm. At the end of the other, her withered right hand is clenched in a permanent fist.
Now she’s waiting for school to let out. The passing children will be her last chance to earn a few baht to keep her daughter’s children fed and in school. Things weren’t always like this. Her daughter used to dance for foreigners in the neon glow of Soi Cowboy, bringing home thousands of baht, worth about US$150 every week. Now she’s broken too. Her first husband died young, and the second abandoned them after serving time in prison.
“To put it plainly, she lost it,” Ratchani, 56, said. “She stopped taking care of her kids. She just lived in her own world; she doesn’t deal with other people. She refuses to acknowledge anything and left me to shoulder all the responsibilities. Even her children, I have to pay for their school expenses. I have to pay 40 baht every day for them to travel to school.”
Her debts are insurmountable and growing. But any chance for the children to live unbroken lives means she has no choice but to push past the exhaustion and despair.
Multiply her story and its variations across the tens of thousands living in Bangkok’s largest slum, where such daily uncertainties and fears have been amplified by government plans to evict them all and “erase” their community to make way for a riverside mall.
When Ratchani was born in the early 1960s, the Khlong Toei community wasn’t the destitute sprawl it is today. The port it grew up around for the past decade was in its heyday. The lure of jobs had led many to accept an open invitation to settle the land under an incentive program that saw few pay rent.
Now just blocks away from the capital’s toniest bars and restaurants, Khlong Toei then was hardly considered Bangkok. Ratchani was about 15 when she ran away from an abusive home in the lesser developed On Nut area and followed her heart to a boyfriend living in Khlong Toei.
Self-reliance is a through line to her life learned early and painfully.
“When I gave birth, he didn’t come. He didn’t care,” she said of the boyfriend upon the birth of their son, who died five years ago of heart disease. “He said something like, “If you can take care of him, good. If not, just send him away.’ He was really cruel; he didn’t care about my feelings at all.”
Five years later, she remembers having to steal a towel from the hospital to carry her newborn daughter back home, alone.
“The hospital had to give me traveling money,” she said. “I didn’t even have a blanket to wrap around my baby.”
A decade ago she moved into a small, rundown residence on two floors in one of Khlong Toei’s several distinct communities. It’s there she supports the four of them by waking up at 4am to get the children to school and make her way to her stall.
“At about 5am, I start traveling to where I sell snacks. I don’t get home until nearly 7pm because I have to clean and wash up,” she said in a recent interview at her home. Despite repeating those 15-hour days five times a week, Ratchani still often comes up short, forcing her to borrow money from friends or loan sharks to get by.
One of Bangkok’s 50 districts, Khlong Toei, or “pandan canal,” was named for the plant that grew along its banks.
The Port Authority owns the land where the community is located, and many consider that fact the end of discussion when it comes to evicting upward of 100,000 people living there. But that concept of land ownership is a relatively modern development established after the community was settled.
When the Siamese capital moved from Ayutthaya to Bangkok over two centuries ago, all land was owned by the king, who could lend, grant or gift it for use. Many of today’s neighborhoods and streets began as such royal gifts.
Up through the mid-20th century, Thailand had abundant land and scarce labor, and people were allowed to take possession of unused land by cultivating it, wrote David Feeny, professor emeritus of economics at Canada’s McMaster University.
Ownership rights based on use and exploitation were left intact when modern property laws involving titles and deeds were written in 1954, just as families were encouraged to settle around the Bangkok Port, which had opened a few years prior between two sharp bends of the Chao Phraya River.
Thailand’s rice boom led to the port’s construction being funded by the World Bank, and nearly all trade passed through it for decades. But even a large expansion couldn’t keep pace with demand, and the opening of a deep-sea port southeast of the capital at Laem Chabang heralded its decline.
Those who settled there to work the docks included immigrants from Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and what was then Burma. They formed close-knit supportive neighborhoods, according to research by the Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Today’s campaign to erase the slum, as one transport official put it, is the latest in a cycle almost as old as the community.
Three years after land-ownership laws were written, in 1957, the port authority sought to force out the dwellings to build a market and other buildings. It succeeded in relocating over 100 households had from what’s called the Lock 6 area to Lock 12. The residents then organized against the expulsions, petitioning the prime minister and physically blocking demolition of homes.
Similar efforts were pushed back in the 1970s and 1980s. In 1983, residents departed voluntarily from some land for the port to develop under a 20-year land-sharing agreement under which claims of both landowner and settlers were recognized, according to Global Perspectives on the History of Squatting.

BL8gPt reacted to ggobkk in Bangkok Again? 5th time a charm...?
Monday dawned and I will still in bed.  It was quite a bit after dawn when I woke up.  At breakfast all of the golfers had already departed for the links.
My Bangkok messages were mainly from Numazu and Paul, the Moonlight mamasan.  Numazu was checking in and filling me in on what transpired after we said goodbye at Hot Male.  It's quite a lot and is in his report, so I refer you there.  Paul was confirming details for meeting up with babe.  Apparently, pre-show "get-togethers" were not routine but easily arranged.  Fees were as mentioned in other reports.  I gave Paul 500 for being a good sport about the arrangements.  babe is the cynosure of Moonlight's marketing and is definitely a draw.  What caused me to want to spend private time with him was how he dominated the Moonlight stage from opening number to shower show when I visited last week.
From other reports and some private PM-ing, I was not anticipating any wild sexual adventuring and there wasn't any.  What I did encounter is a very charming young man with a killer smile who is focused on his client.  He likes to be the center of attention and i gave him my Ipad and asked him to show me his favorite videos and photos of himself.  He liked this and pulled up many photos showing him fully clothed.  He is, for some, an influencer and the clothes are "gifted".  He likes to travel and is happy to travel with clients (i didn't enquire further).  I asked him to loosen things up and show me his moves for his RIcky Martin "She bangs" number and he let me be the "she". FOr this routine he was in  his briefs which led to a few moments of both laughter and intimacy as the briefs dropped away for a few moments.  He is shy but easily moves to another level when he is performing.  His endowment(s) match the video links some have posted in the forum.
I asked if he wanted to eat before going back to the club, he declined and then told me more about his trips, especially Hong Kong which he said was "sad, now".  Conversation was via google translate, club commercial English, and guessing it out.
I walked half way back toward Moonlight with him and then I headed to Madrid for my pizza pit stop.
There is more to my Monday, but those reading my report seem to have been waiting for the above information.
    For the rest of Monday...
Around 9pm, I went to Red Dragon for a dose of attention which was achieved, then I went to Lucky Boy, still no Lucy.  Seated in the front, I watched the battery of boys, at least 3 caught my attention, sat with two of them, tipped them with thanks and some red notes and sent them back, asked 22, the straight beauty, to sit with me during the show, told him I wouldn't off him, he allowed my hands to wander.  Maybe by my next trip to Bangkok, he will  have expanded his horizons.  I watched the first 30 minutes of the show, and must admit as Divine Madman told me, if I look beyond the lady boy singers I'll see some great looking guys backing them up.  OK...but the number of singers still is over the top.  I gave #22 several red notes and he gave me a kiss and a grope.
I then went over to Red Dragon, slipping past the Hot Male barkers.  Once there, the bartender handed me a campari and soda and we discussed options for my waiter of the evening.  This would be #4...we agreed it wouldn't be the bartender as he has to lock up and do his  books and not until almost 1am, but maybe sometime...  I told him who had caught my fancy and he said to give him a moment and he went upstairs and came back with one of the two guys I mentioned.  Usual conversation ensued...except that I was a very known quantity among the staff so no need for detail.  I gave him the off fee, he went back to the club, paid it, changed (?) though I couldn't see what had changed, and off we went to the Tarntawan.
It's sort of like being in a play that is having nightly performances...boy knows of me, knows where my hotel is, what security requires, what my room number is, how the elevator operates, where his shoes go, to invite me to shower with him, to drop the towel once he is dry and not to hide under the covers.  All the intimate stuff is the same but with different points of emphasis.  I enjoy it, I think he has a bit of fun, too as he isn't in a hurry to rush off to catch customers from the 2nd show.
He does leave, security does call, and before I fall asleep, I have a moment to realize this has been a good day.

Jupiter back seats are definitely too cold even for me. If u can, try to seat on the front nearer to the stage, where temperature are more tolerable. Agree that jupiter boys are more handsome and their mamasan wont bug u until u call them, unless you are already a regular there, then they will be very helpful in finding u a boy. Moonlight mamasan and even waiter will keep asking you either about boy or drink when yours is finished, but it wasnt overdone, and if u say u want to see show only, they wont bug you anymore. Weird that you feel boys at moonlight didnt smile, at least boys ive taken before will always smiles when they see me and wai or wave of course in hope of another off. Jupiter on the other hand, i figured the boys is having a hard time to see those in the audience due to layout and lighting but again those who ive taken, when they see me, will always smile and wai.
I always like shows at moonlight better for sure. The models are not just eye candy, they are mostly great dancer too. But big cock guys at moonlight are not my type at all. Jupiter boys on the other hand, those that did the show are hot. But only one or two guys can dance properly. The rest are too manly to pull some of the moves lol but that is also part of their attractiveness

I have been on this forum for a while and read up on the latest information when I’m about to take a trip to Thailand. I have posted very little, but thought that I might share my experiences at the 2 clubs that are talked about the most on this forum – Moonlight and Jupiter.

My sincere gratitude to all the posters on this forum who have willingly shared their experiences about their visits to Thailand and kept members updated on the latest information about the clubs/ massage places. Plus, shared information on a myriad of other topics that are very useful for the first timers as well as seasoned visitors. Some of the posters have written amazing trip reports, sharing vital information. My hats off to you all!

I am currently in Bangkok, staying at a hotel on Thanon Surawong – a hotel that is familiar to most of the forum members.

Bit about my flights to Bangkok before I talk about the Clubs…
I flew in from N America very late on Christmas day. The trip was very long (for me) - more than 20 hours flight time, including a stopover in Seoul. Service on the North American airline was decent. The flight attendants (mix of male & female) were reasonably attentive. The meal served was also decent.
The 2nd leg of the journey - flight from Seoul to Bangkok was on Korean Air. I had to transfer from Terminal 1 to 2 in Seoul, taking 2 short shuttle trains from one terminal to the other. Signs in English were good and those staffing the Information Booths were also very helpful. The younger flight attendants (all female, expect one) on this flight were very polite and friendly. However, not very attentive when the meal was served. Example: bread was not served to all with the meal, even though butter was on the tray. The meal was also so-so.

With the long journey, it took me 2 days to recover fully from the travel. I will likely break my journey next time I travel. I have always done that in the past - even if I have to go through immigration, check into hotel and get used to the new temporary surroundings for a day or 2.

I went to Moonlight on Sunday night and to Jupiter on Monday night. Both clubs were packed during showtime. I went to both the clubs early (around 9:15 pm) to get a decent seat.

My comments about the 2 clubs:

Facilities: The cover charge for both the Clubs was 500 Baht, which includes 1 drink. Jupiter looked larger than Moonlight. Both seem to have similar size stages, but Jupiter has a short “catwalk”, where the boys parade.  I found the seating at Moonlight better, as I could sit on one the couches at the back. There are similar couches at Jupiter, but these are closer to the stage and were full by the time I got there. I was able to select the seat at both places – on the couch at Moonlight and stool at Jupiter, providing decent views of the stages.

The sound level at both locations was fine, not at ear-bursting level. The temperature at Moonlight was comfortable, but it was freezing at Jupiter. I left very soon after the first show at Jupiter since I was freezing. It took me several minutes to warm up outside in the hot weather.

Host Greeting: Friendly greeting at both locations. At Moonlight, the mamasan recognized me right away from my last visit earlier this year, in January. He sat with me few times, pointing out the boys who are my type. He was not pushy about offing a boy. I tipped him at the end for his help. At Jupiter, the hosts left you alone and did not come by to ask about offing any boys.

Clientele: Most of the audience was Chinese at both locations. I would say, at Jupiter it was almost 90%, with about 10% females. I noticed very few females at Moonlight.

    The Boys:

The Mamasan at Jupiter said there were 40 boys at the Club that night. At Jupiter, there were 25 boys in the parade. Some may have already left with clients.
I found the boys at Moonlight a mix of next-door type and ones with well defined bodies. The boys at Jupiter were more handsome (to me) and had very good, well defined bodies.

At Moonlight, they did not smile much and did what they needed to, when parading on the stage. On the other hand, the boys at Jupiter paraded like models – similar to what you see at a fashion show – so more professional in that regard. The boys at Jupiter also smiled more.

    The Shows:
At both Clubs the show started at 10:30 pm. At Moonlight, it lasted more than an hour. At Jupiter, the initial show was only 30 mins. I did not stay for the 2nd part as it was freezing in there, with the A/C on at full blast. I had to get out!

I found the show at Moonlight more creative and unique, with elaborate costumes. At Jupiter except for a couple of acts, it was lip synching to songs and some dances. The dancing by boys at Moonlight was average, even with elaborate costumes and the unique acts. The boys at Jupiter were more in sync with the music and their dancing bit more professional.

The acts at Moonlight were very different from the ones I saw about a year ago. The ones at Jupiter seemed pretty much the same as few months ago, except for the act with the boy doing a dance routine with a hula hoop. Even the songs seemed to be same at Jupiter.

All in all, I would say that for me, Moonlight was a better experience, even though the boys at Jupiter were hotter! The full blast A/C may have something to do with that experience.

I will try and visit some of the other clubs during the rest of my stay in Bangkok and try and give my impressions of those visits, in case folks here found this posting interesting.

Quick review of new Dreamboys. “Show” not yet on par with the slickness of Moonlight and Jupiter and fewer numbers but has its own appeal, especially due to informality of performers circulating among audience and clubby atmosphere. Lots of smiles here. Surprisingly enjoyable especially when audience is in an enthusiastic mood. Ugly pillar mid stage, management has tried to compensate by turning this into an elevated platform with railings similar to dance clubs. Opened with an extended dance rotation by 7-8 boys. 4 were lookers, high energy gyrations, obviously enjoyed performing. Not sure why the other dancers were extremely skinny and lethargic twinks. For contrast? Quality of boys is good, much improved since opening, something for everyone. Saw at least 5 stunners who would not be amiss in Moonlight model parade, including one boy wearing Indian headdress (interested to know exactly what he looks like under all the feathers) 35 (very handsome) and 92 (dreadlocks, personality). One other boy was a high energy dancer, great body and very smiley but no number tag. Looks more Filipino than Thai. We endured the ladyboy routine with exposed genitals. Hands down Dreamboys wins for best costumes among all gogos, with elaborate light up capes and Maleficent outfits for ladyboys and back up dancers. Ended with big cock parade. Did not stay for second show so not certain if there was fuck show.
Place was packed to the rafters due to high season,  recommend going well ahead of 10 PM show time in order to score a seat with a decent view. Did not see much offing though. When not on stage, boys come down to hang out at the bar or outside the entrance, making it easy to get a good look or have a chat. More offs taking place outdoors than inside. If they continue upping the ante, I can see myself returning.
